This was the wedding of the niece of Princess Diana; Celia McQuorquodale, whose mother is a Spencer.
I am not going to mention the most high profile female guest.
However I do like the frocks at a society wedding. I thought the mother of the bride Lady Sarah looked lovely. I think it gives us an idea of how the late Princess would have dressed.
Lady a Kitty looked great, although I thought floral print on her dress was over scale. I loved her hat.
Also lovely to see the Spencer Tiara on another bride.

I think MM should wear more Stella McCartney. That evening reception dress was the best thing I’ve seen her in.
I also thought she looked good in Emilia Wickstead, but I suspect she is persona non grata now, by claiming the Givenchy Wedding dress was a copy of her work.
MM also seems to be wearing a lot of beige / cream. Light colours are fine, like her Blush Trooping of the Colour dress, but she needs a bit more colour, bless her.

Kitty Spencer is absolutely stunning in general. There was a lot of uncomplimentary chat about her outfit for H&M’s wedding but honestly the woman could wear a nun’s habit and she’d still look fantastic.

Off topic, but Interesting what @CurlyWurlyTwirly says about how Diana would have attended as a glam guest of honour- I’m not so sure. Sadly I think the RF PR machine would have been successful turning her into a Fergie-figure post divorce.

@CurlyWurlyTwirly I think the caped dress she wore to the Variety Performance was Stella too. Also loved her McQueen trouser suit, it was just so stylish. She doesn't appear to be a big fan of colour anymore - everything I've seen her in recently has been either black, white or beige/neutral.

And the lovely Diana might have succumbed to the plastic, bland Botoxed look typical of so many celebrities nowadays.

Imagine what Diana could've done with Twitter?!

I think that the senior royals are told to co-ordinate their clothes colours so that they look good in photos. DoC was slated for wearing a cream/yellow dress to H&M's wedding but the official photos look amazing and thought through. Same with Ascot this week.

Karen's dress was so tight you could see the outline of her navel through it! No harm in going up a size...

Yes Countess Spencer was probably wearing a full length Spanx to keep it all in. I’ve never seen a dress so tight you could see the wearer’s belly button.

I wonder whether when the Queen is no more, other Royals will adopt her zingy colours. The last Royal who wore any colour on a regular basis was Diana. Although Kate cracks open the colour on overseas visits.

The clothes Kate wore on their India trip were a refreshing departure. The relaxed boho vibe and bold colours she sported suited her so much better than the matronly stuff she wears over here.

wow Kate looks great in those clothes. Although I thought she looked amazing at the wedding too.

That Tory Burch dress with the orange wrap is one of the few things from her wardrobe that I wish I owned.

Sophie is always so elegant, I love her style. Eugenie dresses for her figure and those fitted dresses really suit her. Most of the Spencer women looked good, but the Countess did look a bit uncomfortable in that tight dress!

Nothing from Kate's wardrobe would fit me.

Kate does rock evening wear. Hopefully when baby Louis is a bit older, William will whisk her off to a few film premieres.

She does, although I think most of those shots are from several years ago. These days it's more Erdem floral curtains that she wears to evening events.

She has been pregnant for quite a part of the last few years.

Sophie Wessex looked fab again today!

The Spencers are a good looking family. That's helped the Windsor gene pool! Have you seen Louis, Viscount Althorp??! 😉

I think Sophie and Edward's children are good-looking too.

I agree with people above about colour. The Queen certainly wears striking and varied colours. Meghan seems mostly to wear white and beige, I think she could rock some of HM's zingy colours.

I don’t think the Spencers are a good looking lot really, think Viscount Louis gets his looks from his mother!

I think Louis, Kitty, Eliza and Amelia are very good looking! Certainly an attractive family.
