We are all up early this am! Finally a day of sunshine here in Newcastle. I'm sitting in my back garden with a cup of tea and it's boiling already!

VivaVegas · 10/06/2018 08:28

Hi, I've been reading this thread for a while as I'm a bit of a Hush fan, nice to see RL pictures as well.
I'm interested in the M & S tops you're talking about as the could fill a gap in my wardrobe, are they true to size?

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2018 08:31

Im trying to flag a nurse down to bring me my 6am painkillers. Ive got to the stage where i think ill be better off at home. Im wondering what i can wear with me catheter?

ilovecherries · 10/06/2018 08:39

Sounds miserable, each, hope you escape soon.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 09:42

Each I would try and see if they will let you out. They will probably suggest ways in which you can put things on with a catheter. Could you wear something old and just put a little hole in it so it can go through? Something cheap like a pair of leggings [certainly not hush attire though at their prices]. You could pop a long tunic/tee over the top? I am assuming the catheter is down below?

Ella We have said goodbye to the sunshine atm. We had really loud thunder and lightning yesterday and looks like its left the cloud. I will let you borrow the sunshine for now since we have had quite a lot of it. However, I want it back soon! Grin If only it was that simple. Enjoy it. :)

Morning All! Grey and overcast in East Anglia too I’m meeting up with old school friends today visiting the UK.
viva I found the top generous and sized down to a 12 despite my 34FF chest (usually a 14 on top, 12 bottom)
each wishing you a speedy recovery

EachandEveryone · 10/06/2018 10:17

Goid luck for your mum. Is she having a masectomy? Dont be scared to ask for painkillers thats one thing ive learnt.

Im going go ask them to put thr smaller catheter in today and teach me what todo, inreckon i can be home bu tuesday.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 10:42

She is fortunate to be having a lumpectomy Each. She has been on tablets and it has reduced the lump. She may, in the end have to go for a full mastectomy. It all depends if it has gone into the lymph nodes. They don't think it has but they are going to put a dye in to check. So for now its the lump coming out.

Good luck Never's mum!

Well I did get the shirred dress which is now OOS except in 16.
There are likely to be returns in this style as it came crushed and did not look like £99 plus international shipping.
In this, 12 me took the risk and got the 10. It is a mixed bag, but will be ok as the length (midi) and waist are fine, the top under the elastic feels slightly small but fewer treats will help that. I think the 12 would make me look much wider due to extra skirt fabric, but I guess I will never know eh? Grin
JL doesn't stock it btw.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 11:37

Thank you Flinders
Its a nice dress. Can you wear it without the off the shoulder look?
Everything seems to be going OOS!!! There will be nothing left for the sale.
The sun has come out. I am off to collect my M&S vests now. Hope they aren't too big actually. I ordered the 12 but after reading Soyos comments they might be. Maybe will need to order the 10.

I want the boxy pink jumper in the sale! I love it but can't afford to pay £85 for it. There's loads left so I'm keeping fingers crossed.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 14:35

I would love it too actually. Definitely one to look out for.
It is really overpriced I think although it is nice.
Picked up my two vest tops. Havent tried yet but we will see.

What's the difference between the hareem trousers and the amie joggers?

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 15:29

The harems are elasticated at the bottom and ruched. The amies aren't. The harems are baggier on the leg. The amies are not as baggy.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 15:30

The harems have a fold over bit at the top. The amies don't.

OP posts:
grannycake · 10/06/2018 15:31

ellapaella I have the pink jumper and it's fab but I really wanted the grey one you have but it was OOS

neveradullmoment99 · 10/06/2018 15:31

The amies have zips at the bottom. My harems feel a little thinner.

I’m going to a mini festival on Friday and looking at their button up play suits. Has anyone got one? If so, are they as flattering as the jumpsuit? They look a similar shape.

Also, if I do get the play suits had anyone got any suggestions for shoes and bags to go with it? I’m tall and like to wear flats. It’s my first night out in ages and I want to look nice.

Ellapaella · 10/06/2018 18:22

@grannycake I love the pink jumper - how does it do for size? I got the grey one when it was briefly in the flash sale on my birthday (very nice of Hush to have a sale on my birthday). It went back up to full price shortly afterwards. I got it for £65 which is a reasonable price.
