@DownHereIn, blinking sizing is doing my head in I have spent the last few weeks purely just sending stuff back, have not managed to buy anything just sent another pair of jeans back today, I can’t afford to keep ordering multiples of everything, it’s getting silly now.
Sorry just needed a bit of a rant😳

It's ludicrous! If they would just put accurate measurements for each item rather than plucking it out of thin air, they'd save themselves a fortune on returns surely? I don't mind what size things are - I know I'm fat! - I just want to order the right one to start with. It's not as if I think I've magically become an 8, I just get ticked off that they must believe customers are that daft .

I’m the same, I don’t care what size stuff is just be accurate on the measurements, I double checked measurements on a website of a skirt & jeans I got recently, when they arrived both were hanging off me.
I think what I need to do, is go on a massive shop crawl & physically try on stuff, just that I have been quite unwell lately & not up to it.

I'm a standard 10 and found a 10 or 'small' to be absolutely fine in almost everything bar the harems which I got in an XS to get a slimmer fit and the cropped printed trousers which I got in an 8 (and were initially quite tight but stretched as others on here suggested they might).
The customer reviews are pretty helpful in hazarding a guess to sizing.

I find that bottoms seem to be pretty consistent too. I am a 12 and the 12 jeans tend to fit me. For tops with give I can buy a small, as with jumpers. I have a few xs small things but that is perhaps because I have lost a bit of weight and sit between a 10 and a 12. Jumpers are a small for me. Blouses too or if exact sizes I would probably wait for a review like ella says and buy accordingly. I also look at the cut to judge. The skirt in jade green I bought in a 10 as I thought the 12 would be to full and I was correct.

I think the sale is going to be disappointing tbh. All the best stuff has sold out and it sounds like they're just going to wheel stuff out they didn't shift in the London clearance events.

Yeah, I haven’t had much problem with sizing for the bottoms. I’m wearing a 12 in the Bryce, which I bought when I was a 12-14, and now at a solid 12 they are still fine, and I would say they will last me through another 7-10 lbs. My frayed star jeans are a 12, and although the 10 did fasten, they wear too tight to be wearable. Harems and Amies I have been wearing large, as I was still a 16 when I bought them, and I missed mediums out completely and jumped to a small.

The sale has started (think it's a preview as main website is not showing sale items -but when I logged it to my account on there loads of things were at sale price!).

Bought quite a few things to try, including the Star jeans after recommendations on here and the SS jumpsuit. Can't wait til they arrive tomorrow

Ive been laid up for last couple of days with a really dreadful stomach bug. Going to hotel at Gatwick tomorrow -flying out stupid o clock on Friday never and not even packed!!!!.( yesterday I was doubting if id even be able to go at all ..) but i think I am on mend now
.we are going for 3 weeks( yay!) im taking my panel maxis ,blue triangle Iris dress from lastyear, the Greek Widow dress and both bay dresses.( It will be hot) plus the hush tie dye beach cover up i was thinking of selling earlier
Also taking some shorts and vest tops and travelling in my harems and T .
Ill be gone before my sale order arrives though ..
