No, I couldn't care less. I'm just curious to know what people who hate something wear themselves. Smile

Hotter Tourist sandals are fugly but very comfortable for walking. Bought them because of a thread on here. I would never have ventured into a Hotter but I needed something for a holiday where I would be walking. I am in Cornwall today and I walked 9 miles in them. Really comfortable, not flat.

Oooooo I really like those Hotter sandals! Sure they’re not the sexiest thing in the world but they look so comfortable. I’m 37 and do tons of walking and I would be happy wearing those with skinny jeans or a floaty jumpsuit. I guess it all depends on your lifestyle.

Timefortea99 · 03/06/2018 22:22

Fairy - they look okay with cropped jeans and they are very comfortable. I am on hols in Cornwall. There are some really trendy types wearing some fugly shoes. I fit right in!

MrsJackson They’d be ok if you’re suffering from gout. Or blindness
Lmfao!

happy - those sandals don't look comfortable for all day.

I’ve plantar fasciitis also and bought a pair of copper metallic soft footbed birkenstocks for this summer. I’ve had PF flare ups when wearing toe post fit flops in the past so was a bit concerned about two strap birkenstocks but needn’t have worried. A couple of weeks ago I was happily walking 10 miles a day on a city break in them and didn’t once need to grip them with my toes to keep them on.

Probably not to everyone’s taste, but I like them and have received complements.

OP I'm 28 and I actually think they look fine! 👍🏻 Though I do have a great respect for comfy sandals, so maybe that skews my fashion advice! 😳

Griefbacon · 04/06/2018 20:19

Well to avoid the hassle of returning I kept them and wore them to a casual lunch with a black play suit. No one recoiled in horror, not did they compliment me. That’s good enough for me. I’m now on my holidays and sandal spotting like a loon...saw some nice thin strapped metallic but with a small wedge (slightly Hotter) but too scared to ask !

Which ones Gwen ?

The black ones are fine for all day. I haven't worn the tan ones all day yet though.........I will report back if blisters appear.

I won't be doing much other than shopping/drinking/eating/pottering in them.
