Haven't posted for a few days and that's because I've been doing loooooong extra hours at work (don't wear Hush to work!) and also reigning it in until payday. The portobello top is still in my head though, so may have to indulge!

never honestly? I took the v back dress pic just for you but it’s really dreadful on me, just hangs like a sack (and the elasticated waist doesn’t help one bit) but thank you on the lovely encouraging comment...I’m so ancient now that in my quest to accept my older me I see this posting of unflattering pics as character building on self acceptance , still it may look great on others but if you’ve a similar shape you’ve been warned!
Yes the Hush print is GORGEOUS and I can get away on my lower half, lucky you you can carry off the fab jacket!

Thanks Dave leopard print is sooo out of my comfort zone it almost frightens me (I know it’s a “neutral”, was encouraged to try after feedback from never and seeing how lovely cherries looked with that Other Stories jacket)
I’ll mull it over, I don’t need it and not sure I love it enough on me...it’s expensive for what it is so don’t want it languishing in my drawers later when I actually decide to wear it and then go “what on earth were you thinking woman?”

I think the tee shirt suits you, and as someone who sports a pair of 32Ks (previously 38/40K, OMG) your chest seems quite modest to me. But I know what you mean about leopard. I love the idea, but find it slightly scary in reality. I got cold on the train home on Monday, so I forced myself to put that jacket on, and to wear it again the next day, because I suspected I might otherwise have let it languish.

Soyo It looks honestly great on you. I don't think you look like Bet lynch [corrie]. I think leopard print has come along way since then.

DaveheCat yesterday I returned a Portobello dress in 8 - they do package them atrociously so it was quite screwed up when it came but I didn't notice any damage.

I have my leopard print ivy hanging up in my wardrobe atm. I think its pretty expensive for what is essentially a thin tee tunic but I am going try it tomorrow with my black leggings and chunky sandals to see how it looks. Will post pictures :)

starry, I haven’t tried the ribbed top on, but I did see it in JL and thought it was quite overpriced. I’m not one who virtuously chimes in with ‘I got a Hush-alike whatever in primark for a 10th of the price’ every time someone mentions a more pricey brand but I did sort of wonder how the price could be justified for that. But - see previous comments about norkage - it’s not something I could wear and it may be exactly what you want.

And you both really rocked your leopard prints so maybe I can too
laska thanks to you too, the Greek widow ensemble will be my second ever Hush dress (and totally in my comfort zone but it does need a long necklace to style it, was thinking a leather long necklace or wooden/arty one would also look good and give it more of a boho vibe if we didn’t want silver/gold)
I’ll show DH the leopard t later, he’s always very honest and then will decide.

I am really cross that they sent something out to me in such poor condition. The girl in CS has been very helpful and nice, but their quality control seems to have gone tits-up at some point!

So now I have 2 bloody P dresses hanging up in my bedroom, taunting me that I can't wear!!

You’re right there, Dave. I got a yellow jumper from them just before Xmas with a big oily handprint on the back. I just couldn’t see how it wouldn’t have been noticed. The box even smelled poorly when I opened it - we aren’t talking about a small smudge.

SoYo the leopard print top is another hit for me, looks great with those trousers. If I'm totally honest I agree with you about the v neck back dress, I don't think it flatters you. Everything else really looks great.

On Hush quality control really really not good enough! Things I tried on today were all very wrinkly (except T) but thankfully not smelly or damaged...I’ll stop now even though I really want to try more (and the star necklace and star beach bag) and sit it out till sale time.
Thankfully I’ve got 2 full on weeks with business travel (off on Sunday afternoon) so will not have much time to ponder fashion

SoYo everything looks lovely on you except that horrible wrinkly dress, I also love the shoes you’re wearing in the leopard print top pic. I have the jumpsuit in that floral print and love it but those trousers look fantastic too.

Have a weird feeling I’m buying everyone’s cast off’s and old stuff but loving it. Please keep on buying new stuff and ebaying the old to make room.

I picked up a nice beach dress from H&M for £9 for my jollies similar to this m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0584327001.html but more a banana leaf print (without bananas!)
