I've placed an order on Hush, unfortunately too late for delivery tomorrow so will report back Wed. Amongst items not yet reviewed are the printed relaxed trousers, love the print and thought they'd be comfortable for my long haul flight back from US next week (planning on wearing the spice Monacos on the way out), v back dress, leopard t and finally the much longed for Alanis black dress. I decided against more jackets as I've plenty in my wardrobe and couldn't justify the Audrey...

I’m chasing the portobello too although probably in a size 10.
I had the v neck Tara in khaki on today which I bought last year and rarely wore, I’ve got Wobbly knees and although I love the Tara, I prefer it in winter with tights and boots! Looked ok with a bit of fake bake on my legs though and some khaki and blue flatforms from next, Bella Jane stack and hultquist owl & star necklace.
I ordered the frayed denim mini in blue, but it was very tight! Sending it back.

I tried on the white Alanis, but it really felt too see through. I light shower of rain and it would be indecent. Didn’t really buy much at all. It was such a nice day we spent a lot of time just wondering about. Bought DD a few bits for going on holiday, and I tried on some stuff in uniqlo to establish what size I actually am in there, but that’s for buying online, wasn’t carting it about all day.

Thanks cherries Ive ordered the black Alanis now. oDnt usually like black in summer but thought the slightly too small one i tried in JL was nice . One thing though is that we go to Greece every year . Il have to get over thinking that black in the summer is only worn by the old widows there.

Will report on the v neck dress and rest of haul when it arrives tomorrow...tbh I'm not very hopeful on the dresses, I've returned so many and to date have only 1 Hush dress, I think I'm the wrong shape for Hush dresses yet skirts/trousers/tops are not a problem, it's because I'm such an exaggerated "vase" shape and I'm feeling very fat atm with the 1/2 stone gained over the winter which these days always goes in my middle joys of menopause body 😢

Soy ive done every diet !! Had great successes on both 5:2 and the 8week blood sugar diet. Both involve an element of fasting.. easy to google. All from Michael Moseley's 'Trust me i'm a doctor' series. However ive put some (over a stone ) back on over the last year, and as its only 6 weeks to my hols ive joined cherries on the lowcarb bootcamp.. ( but am doing 16:8 on it also because i know it works so well for me.. its eat in an 8hr window fast for 16hrs) ..also No !!

I placed a sneaky order this morning both the black denim mini and the Portobello dress were back in. Or so I thought...got a follow up email saying Portobello in 12 OOS. They have offered to hold my order to see if it comes back in soon but I think I will get them to shop without and I can keep an eye on the site. TBH I think the Canterbury will suit me better.

frayed star denims in a 12 so I need to work on the weight loss as if they have no 'give' in them they will not be too generous in size.

miffy the portobello's came on and were gone within minutes. I have a size 10 that I may well be returning, depending on how the 8 fits.

Opinions, please. Three maxi dresses - 2 panel dresses, 1 alanis. All size 12. I can keep two, I think, more would be excessive! Help me choose (and just ignore sandals. They are what they are. I need them, so I just need to suck them up). Plus I MUST buy myself some nude underwear that fits.
