....I meant size 10!

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2018 22:14

I ordered the Cinderella meets the witch shoes from hush. A bit wintery but I love them and they were about to go out of stock forever. They should arrive tomorrow.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2018 22:15

I couldn't remember the name but the anesbury shoes.

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2018 22:16

I sized up to a 7 cause they are so narrow.

Ellapaella · 09/05/2018 23:40

Never that model for the summer stuff doesn't really do it for me,she doesn't inspire me to be honest.
Those next dresses are lovely, I have one and it's a really nice fit and cut - highly recommend.

...and who would honestly wear this combo?

I think it looks terrible together, like they are clothes that are bought from a charity shop and thrown together. Individually I like them. Not as an outfit.

Whitesea · 09/05/2018 23:46

Does it annoy anyone else that the Hush models all have long hair worn down in all the photos so basically hides the top part of the clothing. It drives me mad!

neveradullmoment99 · 09/05/2018 23:48

Is it just one model or more than one. If its two, they both look very similar!
I was thinking that in the Portobello top. You cant really see the back of it because of her hair.

Ellapaella · 09/05/2018 23:52

Yes never - it's a very odd combo. A bit like the strange pyjama type combo that was being sold as trousers and a silk top.
The model in the catalogue that arrived through my door today is beautiful but honestly looks about 15, very young and probably not anywhere near Hush's target audience. It really put me off, I couldn't visualise myself in any of the stuff because it made me feel really old in comparison. Maybe it's just me..

I had the catalogue but I think I binned it. No doubt they will send me another. The hush models will all be pretty young but I agree, it is off putting if they look in their teens!!!

Whitesea · 10/05/2018 00:11

Has anybody tried the lace back dress? It seems expensive for what it is but I like the combination of colours. I'm between a ten and a twelve usually but a ten in Hush but the elasticated waist will probably only emphasise the lack of my waistline.

missfliss · 10/05/2018 06:17

Thanks nearly I'll take a look x

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 10/05/2018 09:06

Oh look, here you all are! Grin

I was having a little moment the other day of realising just how many of my Hush things have little holes in them. I emailed them to say my Amies' zip had broken and they had a hole - I bought them last year but for £50 I expect them to last a bit longer than this. They said if I posted them back they'd refund half the price (after much discussion with the manager and with a slight pursing of lips evident in tone), but tbh if everyone's saying their returns at shit at the moment, I'm not sure it's worth my while. I do feel less inclined to spend Hush dollar at the moment, though.

ilovecherries · 10/05/2018 09:18

I've placed a C&C order at JL, so I can try them and return in store right away. Ordered the panel dress, the black maxi dress (Alanis?) and a Venice beach dress. Also the Kerela shirt and the camo joggers. Will NOT be keeping everything. Have also ordered a couple of bits from Boden.

ilovecherries · 10/05/2018 09:23

Oh, and the cropped harems, which I suspect may be a disaster on me!

Aworldofmyown · 10/05/2018 09:27

I have bought this at John Lewis, www.hush-uk.com/summer_beach/summer_collection/summer_dresses_1/panel_maxi_dress_1_marble.htm

Its lovely, although i really can't decide as its quite summery and i'm very pale!!! Its currently hanging on my wardrobe with its tags on looking pretty!!

Laska5772 · 10/05/2018 09:30

I think JL is much better service ! (shame they dont carry the full range) . already had my dress refunded which i took back to a Waitrose store on Monday and still waiting for my refund of nearly two weeks ago from Hush to show up on credit card (although I have had the refund email) and have another refund outstanding from them ..

I noticed a couple of leopard skirts appeared and disappeared v quickly this morning . not my size but i expect there will be some returns which they will use for the back orders.. that's happened to me before..

As i say I am 'curious' now after what you said nearly . It looks so nice ,and I want to like it , so really hoping i dont I agree with your assessment ! .

oh shall I order the Faye shirt? (it does look a bit transparent) . I so love my liberty one , have worn it loads now ..

Laska5772 · 10/05/2018 09:33

Meant to say never .. Really glad you kept both jackets! Grin.. What a lovely mum you have ! and im now sure she isnt a per una shopper after all Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 10/05/2018 09:48

I think you should order it enabling
I love the look of it but when all is said and done I just never seem to wear anything with a collar. No idea why. Also like to iron as little as possible.

Whitesea · 10/05/2018 10:03

I don’t wear collars either! I buy them but always feel uncomfortable in them like they rub off my chin although I have a long neck and they don’t. Maybe they remind me too much of work clothes and it is psychological.

Aworldofmyown · 10/05/2018 10:34

laska I tried on the leopard skirt in JL. I loved it but the only size they had was too big. It is very 'floaty' thin but I liked it.

neveradullmoment99 · 10/05/2018 11:00

My shoes arrived and they are gorgeous and fit perfectly [ sized up from 6 to 7] I think they have to be the most beautiful shoes that I possess. They are quite pointy but they are , as someone pointed out on the website reviews, rock chic meets Cinderella. Definite keepers.
I got the catalogue in today and some of the things look utterly gorgeous. Trying not to be tempted but I think I may just have to order the animal print tee.

Theonlyoneiknow · 10/05/2018 11:33

Wish I hadn't seen those shoes nearly they are lush! OOS for me though which is a blessing for my bank account I guess!

neveradullmoment99 · 10/05/2018 11:35

They are expensive but I had a £10 voucher from refer a friend and kept forgetting to use it. I used it on the shoes so makes it more bearable.
