ugh, can't deal with this humid weather!! it's making me feel rough. Though it was hotter in america, it was 'dry' heat rather than this humid, sticky weather we've got now.

NO fashion news to report, still dragging things out to be donated tot he charity shop. Got to get DP to do his clothes this weekend and get rid of what he knows he doesn't wear any more.

DryWhiteagainW · 20/06/2018 18:46

Dress down today.......khaki skinnies, tomato red and cream silk and cotton swing sweater, gold slip on things......like Vans, what are they called? Not a trainer, no laces.......

Felt good

Everyonelovessparkles · 20/06/2018 19:53

Those trousers look good lib. I always like the idea of wide trousers / cullottes but always worry they’d make my legs look like tree trunks.

I agree one, it’s been so hot and humid these last couple of days. I’ve been a ball of sweat by the end of the day .

I like the day bag you got for you trip shop and it also looks easy to use at home too when out and about.

No fashion news here either. Have managed to avoid too much temptation in the sales. Had my hair cut today. It’s shorter than usual (just above my shoulders) but I really like it.

Looking forward to the MU next week and seeing some of you again and meeting others. Think the weather is forecast to be much the same as at the moment - hot and humid. Any early thoughts on outfits?

Everyonelovessparkles · 20/06/2018 19:56

Meant to say thanks to mara and marsha for the lianne moriaty book recommendations - have devoured ‘what Alice forgot’ (so good) and have got ‘the husbands secret’ to start next. I have a work trip next week so was going to save it for the flight, but not sure I can wait that long!

Everyonelovessparkles · 20/06/2018 19:59

fedup your comment about travel outfits made me laugh! Sometimes after looking at Instagram then perusing NAP or matches, I have ideas about holiday outfits, then come back to reality when I realise that my one week abroad at a mid price resort does not warrant a £££ D&G dress even if it is a ‘bargain’ Grin Grin.

MarshaBradyo · 20/06/2018 20:11

Oh brilliant Everyone I read them all far too quickly when I was pg, a couple a week

Reading Liar’s Poker atm really enjoying it - about banking in NY in 80s from the guy that wrote The Big Short

I love this weather! The hotter the better. Although I always feel a faint tinge when the longest day passes. I love it

Waiting for everything to drop to 70% off then will get some holiday stuff

shopafrolic · 20/06/2018 22:25

Marsha driving home tonight from yoga the sky was all kinds of red and purple awesomeness - I got the tinge of sadness too. Love summer.
Everyone hair sounds good
I had the fear about wide leg crops too but am loving my uniqlo jumpsuits (bought the navy too) and getting a lot of compliments so must be good
I’ve just downloaded a couple more Lianne moriarty books (had already read the Husbands Secret). Need more to read for my girls weekend. I am more excited about the prospect of finishing a couple of books than anything else TBH!
Still unsure what I am going to wear and when but figure I have enough now.
The bag is brill. And will get used for lots of other stuff outside of holidays so I feel quite virtuous.
I am having a big clear out. I had lots of bags and shoes and coats stored in miniShops room but feel he needs his own space now. So we are sorting a wardrobe for the guest room so I can move my stuff in there. I am finally getting rid of my workwear. No need to hang onto it anymore. Feels good to make a decision. Like when I got rid of the pram when I realised we were stopping at one child......

QueenCyan · 21/06/2018 07:57

MORNing all, just a quickie to report back on the dress I ordered. It is lovely but I’m sending it back. If it was navy I’d keep it but the black just looks a bit heavy on me.
Back later.

FedupNagging · 21/06/2018 09:01

Love the sound of yesterday's ootd Dry especially the jumper. Where is it from? Looking forward to seeing today's ootd!

Shame the dress is the wrong colour for you Queen, I can see it's a good shape for you.

I need a couple of vest tops & t shirts but only have time for our local retail park today; fingers crossed I find something. There's a couple of nice jigsaw t's in the sale but if I order they won't arrive before we go.

QueenCyan · 21/06/2018 16:18

shop I saw someone in a similar jumpsuit to yours with a short sleeve striped tee underneath. Might be good for slightly chillier days?

Looking forward to mu too. If hot I will probably wear my navy flamingo dress. Otherwise jeans.

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 11:18

The outnet isn’t so bad it’s been outcast is it? Thinking of buying a few things, has anyone used it recently?

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 11:32

Should I throw this in the order?

Moschino yay or nay

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 11:34

This? 3.1 Phillip Lim I can’t work out what the colllar is doing

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 11:44

And also this Rag & Bone will the neckline annoy me

Fine to say no way to all or yes et, on the fence, opinions welcome!

maradesbois · 23/06/2018 11:55

Marsha yes to rag & bone, no to rest imho Smile

Fairylolly · 23/06/2018 12:06

I like the 3.1 Phillip Lim shirt!

Fairylolly · 23/06/2018 12:10

Also I like the sweatshirt! But it is quite exp for what it is...

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 12:11

Thanks Fairy list is getting linger finding it hard! Have 5 other things that I might link too

MarshaBradyo · 23/06/2018 12:13

typing i instead of o is my most common mistake weird

Fairylolly · 23/06/2018 12:26

Very pleased with these boots I picked up in the Matches pre-sale. Sadly, I ordered the medium instead of the small in this bag and it was too big for my frame and the small was then out of stock. It is a thing of beauty and is still firmly on my lust list.

It's cold in my part of the world and I am enjoying my White Company cashmere joggers bought after they were recommended on a Vogue thread earlier this year Smile

Longislandicetee · 24/06/2018 08:59

Morning! Hungover for 2nd day in a rowShock.

Sorry I haven't been around. This month is just sooooo crazy at work and home, the only thing I can do is grit my teeth through it.

Friday night dh and I had a date night on the Southbank. Always a great place to be when it's sunny. We had such a great time, drinks and people watching on the riverside and then dinner when the sun went down. We haven't had a date night like that in ages and it was awesome. I wore a MK dress with wedges and dh said I looked very pretty.Smile

Yesterday was fantastic. We went to an Indian wedding which was absolutely fashion heaven. The dress code was Indian formal so it was a riot of colourful saris and bangles and gold bling. I was soooo at home people watching - it's not often I can pile on loads of bangles wear lots of gold bling and not be the blingiest person there Grin

DryWhiteagainW · 24/06/2018 16:04

No MU round ups Shock

Feel as if I’m on holiday it’s so sunny and warm. Love it. Gap boyfriend shorts, vest top, Havanas today.....

MarshaBradyo · 24/06/2018 16:07

What have I missed it? It’s next weekend isn’t it? Grin hang on aren’t you coming Dry?

God I love this weather and am posting to merely say how happy it makes me. Feels so good!

MarshaBradyo · 24/06/2018 16:08

Lovely boots Fairy shame about the bag

Blingy the wedding sounds fabulous
