Disappointed with the Stories sale, I wanted loads and none of it went in. Maybe there will be a further sale in August, they seem to get earlier each year.

Yay for holiday planning Marsha, 2 weeks sounds amazing. I can't wait to catch up on holidays myself next year - we'll have had none at all this year (until we go away for Christmas).

I did buy a new smaller purse and a second cardholder in the Aspinal sale, to go in my new bag, both are really lovely. It makes me smile to open the bag and see red purse and orange and pink cardholders!

More importantly, got my new car and I love it. Baby is going to be travelling in style! Now just need to sell the old one haha.

blair I’ve just been reading on midlife chic that retailers are in a bit of a spin with sales as they apparently organised them early due to the rubbish spring but now the weathers good they’re keeping high summer stuff at full price for as long as possible. So I guess if she’s right expect to see it all on sale at the end of summer.

so sorry I have been awol. Life has got in the way of keeping up with you all. Ramadan is almost over, its been tough with the long days but rewarding, will miss it when its over.

Justa great to hear from you and good to hear that Ramadan is going well - I'm missing it weirdly - it's part of life for so many of my friends and colleagues in the UK I used to feel I got to experience it vicariously through them. Chloe shoes are perfect!

You didn't disappoint Shop - I love both of those - will really pull your holiday wardrobe together.

Marsha we'll get drawings hopefully mid next week - they came and did all the measuring up on Tuesday - exciting!! On carpet, in Auckland we lived next door to a couple who were professional renovators. They had done that house up to a really high spec and invited us over to have a look around. We took shoes off and the carpets were the most amazing I ever walked on - felt like cashmere. I asked them which carpet they got and they told me it was a mid range carpet but the trick was a double layer of underlay.

For those of you who like a colouring book (Blair, One) we picked up this one at a book fair the other day for DD. She loves it - great pictures with Carven, Acne, Antik Batik designs - she's spending ages every day on it atm but would be great for a fashion loving adult too.

Am loving the sales buys and chat. Justa i have those Chloé block heels, they are fab. Am trying to be restrained but did treat myself to some shoes too:

n kirkwood beya raffia slippers. They arrived today and are great. The product description says they run large but I didn’t believe it as remember justa saying that the beya loafers are tiny. Took my normal size in these and they are perfect.

Also picked up a couple of work dresses in Zara last week, this paisley print maxi
and striped shirt dress. Currently wearing this one with the kirkwoods, outfit success!

Also like this navy floral maxi but didn’t want to get too carried away. Still thinking about it though and only £39...

Forgot what I came on here to say, doh! I think I have now contacted everyone who was yes or maybe for mu but give me a shout if i’ve missed you and you want to come.

I am so looking forward to the mu. It seems like ages since I was in London. I couldn’t live there again but it really is one of my happy places.

Today I’m wearing the new warehouse navy sleeveless top and gap girlfriend jeans and silver saltwaters. A pretty typical outfit for me! After saying my summer wardrobe was done, I saw a dress on someone yesterday and fell in love. If it fits it could potentially be good for my interview as well as a 40th I have coming up. I’ll link once arrives.
