Thought I would create a new thread for all the Hush addicts!!!

I know exactly what you mean re the skirt Lucky I could see me wearing it on holiday with a white linen t for casual smart eves with a nice pair of flat sandals, or maybe a summer wedding party but everyday or even at weekends? Mmm 🤔 It does look very pretty though..,

Amies yes I hope I don't regret but they're a Hush staple so can always reorder later...I got in navy blue. TBH the slimmer style looks better on me than harems but they just somehow felt more flimsy than my harems and too much £ for what's essentially a day trouser to wear at home....zip didn't seem a problem in the pair I tried (small very generous on my size 12 bottom)

I had a look round hush in JL in Glasgow today, but it just wasn’t appealing. Odd range of stock and not nicely displayed. I usually go to Newcastle and it has a much better feel to it somehow.

I'm thinking of popping in to JL to try on their denim jacket but cannot be arsed with city centre traffic I would like a new one for spring/summer and theirs looks promising...

Hush harems.... some of the pictures on the website look like the crotch is really quite low, and the legs pretty baggy: I am regularly tempted but have fairly short legs and don't want to look like I'm wearing either knickerbockers or a sagging full nappy!

I have black Amies which I like but are fairly thin and the zips, while they look nice, are a bit annoying for curling up on sofas and the like.

Anyone shortish (5'4) got the harems or would recommend?

Should add I know the baggy legs and low crotch are what make them harems, but I feel some of the photos show this to a greater extent than others!

I'm 5'4 Seek and really like their harems, mainly for lounging at home or a long haul flight. They are nice with flip flops in the summer though. I don't find them too baggy although thought I would as I'd never worn anything like it before.

Seek do you mean the long harems? I recently got the long harems in navy and I’m 5’4” and don’t have long legs but they fit well. Actually the length is on the short side so it would be more of a problem for talker folks. Size-wise, if you are between sizes, I would size down. I’m normally a 12 in Hush and I got the Small which fit well.

Another harem lover short arse here! Was tempted to keep Amies if I'm really honest their slimmer shape is possibly a tad more flattering as I've slim hips and legs (relatively speaking compared to my rather hefty upper torso) but I think the harems just feel better and although mine are quite ancient they're sooo comfy for home working which I'm patently not doing right now
I don't think they give nappy look either. I'd say try them and you may be pleasantly surprised...

What with the sale and then the preview, my Hush habit has got a bit shameful of late.

soy, they did actually have the denim jacket which was nice looking, although I didn't try it on - but it was very soft, which I like. Everything else just seemed a mishmash of styles and sizes - they didn't have capsule looks going on, it was a random 'two of this, three of something else'. I felt it looked like returns rails, to be honest. I'm surprised, as I thought they have a 'look' that they would demand across all JLs, but it really looks messy. On reflection though, it was near mint velvet, white co and oasis, and they ALL looked a mess, so maybe just a bad day and supply problems over the last week.

I love the Amies. I didn't expect to when I first got them, but they are fabulous and I've found they wash well too, with minimal fading and bagging.

I'm a 12-14 on the bottom, and I wear a small in the harems and a medium in the Amie's.

I wish our JL would get Hush, so I could try things on. My fatal flaw is that I am so shit at getting round to going to the post office, I persuade myself I like things I probably wouldn't have bought if I'd just tried them on in a shop!

Re the Amies I hear you! I put them in the returns box twice and took them out again LOL! So knowing they wash well and keep shape will probably reorder with next discount round (fickle moi?) I've been on a big spending spree recently if you need to know about Baukjen leather I'm your girl so felt quite virtuous putting them back finally in that returns box for "next time"

I have to admit to owning four pairs of harems now - the 'old' long ones. The only pair Ii regret ( a bit , but i actually have them on right now) are the grey.. they do look a bit baggy on me.. Actually no, its five pairs! . I wore my old navy ones almost to death and replaced them last season but still have the old ones .

Size wise I am 5'5 with sz 12 bum but legs are a bit on the short side (sound great dont I ? .. ..its ok, legs not that short!) .. Up until Hush changed sizes I always went for the S/M, but for my last two pairs I needed the S in the olive but the M in the navy ..but I dont think Hush are quite so consistent on sizing as they used to be!

M and L arrived today ,and yes , Soy., I am in love and am keeping the M!. ( L was huge again , and it didn't help that it smelt of cigarette smoke.. I will have to point this out when I return as I dont want them rejecting it on that account) . The M was obviously new and unsealed , but also a much better fit.. I cant post a photo as its too dark to take one right now, but I like it with black mini (I wore a tube skirt over thick leggings today) opaques and boots - would prob look great with my hush black ruched skirt also ) .

My harems are 3 years old now (wearing today actually) and holding up well with very frequent washes, but I take my Hush hat to you: 5 pairs!!!

Also good ideas on Sweat styling 👍 Aside jeans I also have ruched black skirt that would work well with let's not mention my ancient harems again which are also black

Yay !soy -In my defence.... Two of them are at least 3 or 4 years old and the grey over 2 years, i reckon . The black ones ( the first i bought) are the least worn.. ..

I bought the pale denim jacket last year and I love it. Got a lot of wear out of it, was kind of hoping they would come out with a darker wash so I could buy another one this summer :)

Wills Welcome!! sizing it's a bit hit and miss, it tends to come up large so I'd go for a Medium if you're a 14 sometimes even S is fine for a 14...10% discount just finished end of Feb but keep an eye they have them every few weeks. If not wait till mid season sale or try John Lewis who also stock Hush and still have some winter sale items on their site.

John Lewis also do free postage and returns over £50 rather than Hush which is £75 , although they dont have all the range. ( so you can easily make it up that with something to you can always send surplus stuff back.. ) .
