Mulberry Bayswater

I've been hankering after a tan heritage/classic Bayswater for the past year or so but have always come to my senses before purchasing. I've just been in Mulberry again to touch one and came very close to buying. I can afford it, but it's a stupid amount to spend on a bag right? It doesn't even fit on my shoulder which I like bags to do.

It's so pretty though. DH convinced me to think on it for another week to see if the urge goes. Grin

although I've scuffed it a bit.

Scuffed after just 3 months? Surely the leather should be better quality than that.

Mercurial123 · 12/06/2018 15:40

The quality is now very hit and miss. A few people complaining on Facebook about how leather is splitting and scuffs etc. Prices are up quality is not what it was.

Mercurial123 I would be very disappointed to see damage on any bag of that age. Really not good enough for the price.

Beautiful bag, love it! I lust over them now and again...maybe my 'forever bag' for my 40th...if only I could persuade dh that it would be a good idea.

I have a Mulberry Del Rey that I want to sell though, where is best to do this? It's genuine, but eBay worries me that people will scam and say it's not Hmm.

Those looking to buy or sell should look at this website www.npnbags.co.uk Shian who runs it is excellent. I have bought and sold and highly recommend her. She is always getting new stock, and there are currently quite a few different Mulberrys on there!

Ooh. How very exciting. Even the carrier bag is exciting. Mine isn't a Bayswater, but it cost the same as my monthly contribution to school fees. This helped, as it made me realise how stupidly expensive school fees are, every single sodding month. I use my bag every single day. It has emulsion paint on it from living on a building site., and scuffed corners as a result of use. But if I pay that for a bag, it's jolly well going to be used every single day for about 1,000 years. I love it.

Hi Maggie do you still have your bag and are thinking of selling it? Thx
