Had an allergic reaction to the last plumping lip gloss I used so not very eager to try this one. Doesn't really look like my sort of colour either, looks very summery like it would be good with a tan.

LoniceraJaponica · 20/12/2017 07:22

So it's a lipgloss? Not a colour that DD and I would like to wear. I really dislike the pale Claudia Winkleman no lip colour look.

LoniceraJaponica · 20/12/2017 07:27

What colour is it meant to be?

Trills · 20/12/2017 07:29

You can say LIPGLOSS for this one.

It is glossy. Basically no colour there. Shiny. Minty. Meh.

Trills · 20/12/2017 07:30

Lonicera. Try it over your usual lipstick colour maybe.
It’s a bit pale for me but I’ll try it over something. 💄

Trills · 20/12/2017 07:32

Rose sheen would have been nicer than Honey sheen - it might have had some visible colour.

This doesn't hurt like some lip plumping things I've tried (only ever tested because why would I want hurty lipgloss?)

thenewstateswoman · 20/12/2017 07:37

I quite like the feel of it on my lips but agree it’s more like a top coat. Overall not my colour but I’d wear it in a red or fushcia.

thenewstateswoman · 20/12/2017 07:37

I’m starting to worry about how to get through January without a daily treat tho!

AmethystMoon · 20/12/2017 07:51

Not really my thing today. Going in my swap pile, I’m not good with lip gloss. It ends up in my hair Xmas Blush

Trills · 20/12/2017 07:52

If you've looked at the colour of this one in the tube - it's not a highly pigmented opaque substance like the liquid lipstick. I've put it on my lips and TBH my lips look much as they do if I put vaseline on them. Slightly shiny. Not a different colour.

10thingsIhateAboutTheDailyMail · 20/12/2017 07:52

The glitter varnish is going straight to my niece Wink

Am wearing the nailsinc gold varnish on my toes and LOVE it so much, am planning to buy more colours!

If M&S did a small discount of the calender products, I would impulse buy quite,a few!

Love all the face masks too, mind, my skin is so dry at this time of year, when I slathered on the gatineau one, my skin had absorbed it all 10 mins later Shock

Am loving this calendar, such good value and variety!

Last year's Rosie super model smile lip crayon was miles better than this year's lip offering though....

Trills · 20/12/2017 07:55

What Gatineau did you get?

I got this - a moisturiser not a face mask

AwkwardSquad · 20/12/2017 07:58

I’ve just tried the lipgloss and I quite like it. Last year’s lip pencil didn’t work for me at all so I’m happy with this one.

ForSaleChesterDraws · 20/12/2017 08:01

Wow. Another pale lip colour. Why not do a red or something more festive?
I’ve been thoroughly disappointed with this calendar. I’ve liked the Emma Hardie balm, the liquid gold, the first mascara and yesterday’s nail polish. The rest has been junk.

LoniceraJaponica · 20/12/2017 08:26

Junk to you maybe. I have liked most of it. DD is giving both mascaras to school friends and has kept the first lip colour and both nail polishes for herself. I am enjoying all the skincare stuff.

I don't think I will be purchasing any of the products as my skin has looked the same throughout. I have always looked after it and either I can't see the difference or I can't improve it any more. Also, I don't have sensitive skin and can get away with spending less on it than some people.

caggie09 · 20/12/2017 08:27

Im not keen on the colour, think ill do what a pp said and use it over a lipstickSmile

LoniceraJaponica · 20/12/2017 08:30

So will I

Trills · 20/12/2017 08:32

"Junk" is not the same as "things I do not like".

Trills · 20/12/2017 08:38

I don't think we've had anything that NOBODY liked, have we?

Hareinthewoods · 20/12/2017 09:07

Trills, I think the glitter nail polish was the only thing that lots of people were not keen on.

snowflakestar · 20/12/2017 09:08

I really like the lip gloss. I'm with Trills - it's very sheer so don't look at the tube and let it put you off, I can still see my lip colour through it and it feels refreshing on my lips. I don't need lip 'lift' or plumping or whatever but hopefully the effect won't be too over the top (my lips are still tingling!)!

TillyVonMilly · 20/12/2017 09:27

I like the glitter polish, my nails are a dark blue/purple and I did the tips with the glitter, looks nice and sparkly, all glitter is scratchy so I put top coat on and I’m happy. Not tried the lipgloss yet but it will be fine over a coloured lipstick, I’ve got a couple which are a bit mat so I’ll try it over those. I’m really happy with the calendar, I’ve tried all the stuff yet but the only two I don’t think I’ll use is the gold nail varnish and the body stuff from day one, it’s got a really strong perfume which I’m not keen on.

10thingsIhateAboutTheDailyMail · 20/12/2017 09:33

Trills, I got Gatineau melatogine futur plus anti wrinkle radiance mask

Or am I going nuts, and was this lying around on my dressing table already?! Shock

Love today's lip plumper, it is sheer and makes my lips look and feel
nice

No junk in the calender at all, IMO!

Butterymuffin · 20/12/2017 09:34

I love pale / translucent lip colours and glosses so am very pleased with today's. I wouldn't want a really dark colour, it would hardly get worn. Each to their own, eh?

Quite a bit of 'glass half empty' posting IMO. Everything isn't going to be the exact shade everyone would like.
