Hush new collection - we're loving it so much we need a new thread!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

Back from the sample sale too - went about 5.30 and by the time I'd got out it was nearly closing up.

It was fab!

Got myself 4 (!!) ruched skirts £10 each
Tara dress £15
Marina skirt £10
Wrap shirt £10

Lots of dresses, tops, PJs. Lots of different sizes. Not much in the way of harems, knitwear, and not many shoes or accessories. But was still great and lots of fun having a rummage, if a bit hot and manic!

Wow! is it all small sizes? I couldn't go this year but maybe next when i am retired.. ..

Great sounds fun! I’ll go there instead of my pilates class (easily distracted) 😉

Is it much of a walk from Clapham Junct? Or maybe I could get a bus from Vauxhall

A good mix of sizes actually, and piles of stuff even by the end of the day. Will definitely be going next year, and getting there earlier!

About a 10 min walk, maybe a bit less - left out the station and keep walking til you see Battersea Arts Centre!

Ha! I will be retired by then as well, Laska, it's tempting me to make the journey from the frozen north! Of course I will send Vickie to you if I don't keep her - although DH threw me somewhat tonight by saying 'wow, that's a different look for you, I love it' when I was trying it on (again). That shocked me so much that I'm now thinking I should keep it. Will decide tomorrow.

never You bought the green Barossa blouse didn't you ? Did you keep it? if so perhaps you may want to consider this Mint Velvet Roxon scarf (.and also anyone else who likes a bit of black and green) .

I bought it because I was looking for something to go with my green Ivy Dress and Nana jumper..It came today and its really, really nice! Good price too!

That is a very good idea, Laska . Despite many dire warnings to my children about meeting people from the internet, I've made some great irl friends on different forums as my interests changed with age and lifestage. We could do mutual enabling, I'm sure.

Cherries I once traveled to the US to meet someone had made friends with on the internet..(in the quite early days of net) and taking my child with me!.. But we had progressed to letters photos and phone calls by then!.. still it was a bit scary.. She and her family were great . we had a wonderful time and she came over here after with her kids.. .

Simpler times though ..

Those heading to Hush sale tomorrow, keep an eye on the staff bringing out new boxes and pounce! People grab huge bags full of stuff and then dump a load of it near the mirrors or the tills so really rummage there.

Actually I am amazed they have so much extra stock..

Come on to Scotland Hush sample sale if you are listening...Edinburgh would be fine and one for Laska too - in the deep south!!

I didn't keep the blouse laska It was huge sadly. Beautiful but it was just far too big looking. I love that scarf. However, I just ordered the HUSH zigzag one that has been out of stock forever so cant justify another one. Great price too.

Yes ...are we fooling ourselves into thinking that Hush are a bit 'well' .. less mass-market ? ..Smallish manufacturing runs and all that? .. But if not.. otherwise how do they keep running out of stock?

I suppose they are not selling current sale stock at these sales do they? Stylison?

Well. That was an experience. £120 spent, variety of stuff - I’ll work out exactly what later. No queue to pay so I timed it about right. If anyone’s going later - don’t bother with the boxes on the tables, under the tanles is where all the good stuff is.

Tanles=tables. Sorry Putty saw that too late, they do have a few pjs though - I managed to get a matching pair from different boxes.

Oh thanks anyway. Anyone else. I'd be so so appreciative. (Crossing everything in the tiny hope!)

Most of the stuff I saw was from begining of last year and older. There were a few random current sale items; I saw a couple of Althea dresses, a pair of Alexis trousers, one or two other things. No knitwear/jumpers at all this morning but loads of jumpsuits. I saw one ruched skirt and a pair of joggers but their staple stuff was not really there (not really surprisingly). You don’t realise how much black Hush sells until you’re going through box after box trying to find something that isn’t black (or white)

I once went into a Boden pop up sale in Brighton - it was unbelievable.
