Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

I think it's really bad they don't offer free returns, nearly every other company does.

Talisin · 09/01/2018 11:49

They do when it’s not sale time.

Laska5772 · 09/01/2018 19:17

Thats why I save the return labels ! Grin

When do we think they will reduce further (and perhaps put up more stock?) Next week? .

neveradullmoment99 · 09/01/2018 20:00

It must be quite soon surely? How long has the sale been on? Its a week on Thursday. They may reduce and add more items on Thursday?

neveradullmoment99 · 09/01/2018 20:01

I mean its been a week the sale has been on come Thursday!

neveradullmoment99 · 09/01/2018 20:02

What I miss is premium delivery. I would even pay for it. All they are offering is standard delivery and some express delivery at £12 Shock

Laska5772 · 09/01/2018 20:44

I agree Never , my first order came within 2 days but still no sign of my second one. I have been spoilt by next-day delivery! Smile. I was just wondering because I think ill be keeping the Jada despite DH comment as I really like it . But its still £90.. it would be even better if it was cheaper!

What in current non sale stock do you think you'd get if reduced ?

neveradullmoment99 · 09/01/2018 23:47

That's difficult because there isn't that much left that I haven't got
I really like the black blouse with the embroidered shoulders. Would buy the black ivy dress as I have the black easy dress and its wearing out as I wear it loads over jeans [ It is shorter] Amie joggers in black. would like to try the blue jeans - skinnie stevie or straight Lonnie. Love to try the leather leggings but they will never reduce them enough. I really cant justify buying any more boots but I love the mid heel calf length ones but the only reason I haven't bought them is they are quite wide at the top and I think it makes them look clumsy with a skirt or dress. My Daniel nibble boots came today and they are slightly big but have adjusted the straps and they feel tighter. They are beautiful so definetly keeping them. Have returned the other hush ones. I cant really think of anything else I would buy. Would love another cashmere jumper [ I have the soft red one that was last years colour - it is a beautiful colour and gets many compliments] Would love to size up and get a black cashmere bf jumper. Also love the jada jumper [ not sure of its name] in grey. I really like the jada tunic. Think you will regret it if you send it back. I think you really like it Laska. £90 for me after what I have spent this month is just too much money so am staying away from the JL website.
I would definetly buy it in the brown sugar colour if it was really cheap! What about you Laska?

ilovecherries · 10/01/2018 10:20

I have the Jada ordered into try in JL tomorrow - both S & M. Also managed to snag a medium felix in Burgundy, and will decide when I see it tomorrow if I want it or the charcoal I bought (or both, given my daughter was so enthusiastic about how it looked). I suspect I'm doing a lot of distraction/comfort shopping as I'm pretty upset about my hair - I've lost about a third of it over the last year, and now have very noticeable bare patches. No medical reason, everything has been checked. It's age, I think :( So as well as picking up my JL orders tomorrow, I also have a consultation at a wig store :(

neveradullmoment99 · 10/01/2018 17:42

Cherries that's a real shame about your hair. I hope you look fantastic with your new wig :) Is there nothing they can do to help it grow back?
The Jada is lovely. Am sure you will only need the small. Its generous.

grandolddukeofyork · 10/01/2018 22:50

Does anyone own the short parka?? Is it any good?

ilovecherries · 11/01/2018 10:44

Well, picked up JL order. Jada in small was too big. They had one xs left on the shop floor, which was much better. But ridiculous, given I'm a 14 on too. But I'm not sure my primary driver for buying it wasn't for the sheer pleasure of having an XS on my back when a year ago I was pushing a 24. Grin

Felix in a burgundy M was lovely, taking it home to compare with the grey to see which I prefer. Also taking the Tina home to think about - think my arse might be too droopy for it though. Top half is lovely.

Laska5772 · 11/01/2018 11:00

Down to 60% now ...

I don't think there is anything more a m going to get.. although
I do like the black wool biker jacket..

I think the only reason I am still hesitating over the Jada is because I am planning to leave work very soon.. Will I wear it in my 'new life'? I will try it on again today and then make a final decision!

Btw the pjs were dreadful on me..I looked like an overgrown kid
in them.. Going back

Laska5772 · 11/01/2018 12:41

Right have decided , its lovely but its going back. thinking about what i may wear going forward I think its unlikely a jumper dress will fit in with my projected non-working lifestyle and i have lots of things that are fine for now so am being sensible ... I should have bought the shorter one instead i think but now OOS in my size.. will keep an eye out JIC one comes back in

Dancergirl · 11/01/2018 14:59

I've just got the Oslo skirt - very short but I love it.

Does anyone have the lurex ribbed bomber jacket? I like the look of it but not sure if it's too glittery for every day.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/01/2018 13:13

New collection according to a leaflet in my order today said new collection out on the 16th. Not sure if it is all of it or some of it. Just thought you would all like to know!!!

ilovecherries · 12/01/2018 17:15

I'm taking the jada back to JL. Flattered as I was to be wearing an XS, it's not really doing anything for me. It's skimming o my good bits and adding more bulk to my bad bits. Plus I'm finding it slightly itchy round my neck. The red felix I didn't even try on yesterday, given how good a fit the grey is, but there's something not right with the shoulders - they aren't lying flat/smooth or something. I'll decide about that before I go back to the city next week. And the Tina - still unsure. It's lovely on top, but I def don't have a flat lower tummy and I'm wondering if it's showing it off too much.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/01/2018 18:28

Cherries, I red you travelled to Glasgow for your wig fitting. Do you live in Scotland? I live just outside Glasgow!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/01/2018 18:28

*read!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 12/01/2018 18:30

I think that's the thing with the Jada, its a bit like a sack dress. It just covers everything up including the good bits. I think on me, it reminds me of when I had put on a little too much weight.

ilovecherries · 12/01/2018 18:47

Yes, never, we are living in Cumbria at the moment, but we still have our house in Scotland (bloody adult kids are living life of riley living in the (fully funded!) family home while at uni, while their dad and I live in a rented flat elsewhere!). I'm self employed, so can pretty much work from anywhere. When kids were younger I used to stay at home obviously and their dad came home at weekends, but when he took on his most recent project I decided to go with him this time. Someone on a hairloss group recommended Paruche so I just came home for a few days.

ilovecherries · 12/01/2018 18:49

But I actually drove up from Manchester yesterday, hence the 400 mile round trip.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/01/2018 19:31

You are well travelled then!!! I don't even stay that far from my work [10 mins in the car!!] Have lived near Glasgow all my life. I always imagine everyone I chat to on here comes from down South somewhere. Nice to chat to someone from the same ' neck of the woods!' so to speak.

As for Hush I had ordered the brown sugar cashmere and the love scarf. Both are gorgeous so am keeping them although I am sure the camel jumper isn't the best on my skin but am hoping with a scarf or a shirt in either black or cream under it, I can get away with it. I have the red one in medium and wanted it really baggy so opted for the large. It is gorgeous. I would have considered the brick colour but think that would be worse on me tbh.

Theonlyoneiknow · 12/01/2018 22:48

I am NE Scotland @neveradullmoment99 my brother lives just outside Glasgow. We are down for the Gomez concert later this year

neveradullmoment99 · 13/01/2018 06:23

Theonly There seems to be quite a few Scottish people on this thread!!!!! Nice talking to fellow Scots!! Your brother may live quite near me then!!!!Anyone else?
Out of interest (and you may still live far away from Glasgow) but the John Lewis at the buchanan galleries in Glasgow don't stock hush do they? I walked around there a few times but haven't seen a hush sign anywhere. Does anyone know? Maybe I keep missing it. Looked in there after Xmas.
