Hello everyone!

I thought I'd start a new thread since we bought so much stuff we filled up the old one! Who's coming with me?

never They don’t, no. Edinburgh is currently the only JL in Scotland that stocks it. There’s a list of the concessions here

neveradullmoment99 · 13/01/2018 12:03

Thanks for that Talisin. Just wondered as I am not often in John Lewis but the times that I have been in, I haven't seen anything from Hush. In a way, I quite like that as it means that not everybody has the same dress/outfit although of course, they can buy it online!!!!

Laska5772 · 13/01/2018 13:37

Never You cant get much more south than me!! (IOW - south side) . sadly still no Nana in Ivy in my size ..Reckon I have missed the boat on that one.. I really dont need to look at new collection .. I need to wear what I have !

Talisin · 14/01/2018 13:10

Free delivery on all orders over £30 until Midnight Sunday with FREE30.

Theonlyoneiknow · 14/01/2018 13:37

I really dont need anything else........ 😁 Felix is now £65 GAH I havent even worn the one I paid £90 for yet

Laska5772 · 14/01/2018 18:01

There was a Nana jumper return ( same as Jada but shorter) in S / Ivy today from JL.. have ordered ,it may be too big as I got the jada in XS but as its the jumper, but maybe not well see... JL is free delivery and returns anyway ..

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 18:58

Do you think there will be any more reductions? Have my eye on just a couple of things but they are still full price!

Laska5772 · 14/01/2018 19:12

I reckon there will be.. Didn't you say they are launching the new collection on 16th? (actually that does seem quite early this year, o doesn't it?)..

I still think think they are not at their final prices, going on previous years .. I only went for the Nana jumper at that price because it seems that all the smaller ones have sold out .

I do hope its is ok ..

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:19

Well it said it on one of their pamphlets inside one of my parcels [ that paper thing that comes with all sorts of tosh in it!] It said that the clothes that were displayed in that pamphlet would be available on Jan 16th. It may be only a limited amount and they will probably keep their sale going at the same time to maximise sales!!!! I am kind of bored looking at their clothes atm.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:19

I love the nana in grey but it isn't discounted ggrrr!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:21

Would like them to discount some jeans slim crop with frayed ankles and nana or Jada in camel. Unless there is something stunning in their new stuff that may sell out, I think I will give myself a break from ordering as stock levels will be high for most so no rush.

Laska5772 · 14/01/2018 19:24

OK. so looking back.. Last year on 4th Feb I ordered my last two sale items from AW16 - incidentally both still in stock, ! But the Jacqui cardi coat i paid £60 then and its £90 now! (its really lovely actually and if it ever goes down to 60 again , its well worth it ), The other was the plaid flannel nightshirt at £25 and its still that price.

On 14th Feb I ordered my first things from the S/S 17 catalogue . Am pretty sure I didn't hang about ! Actually I shouldn't have looked back at my orders! its frightening! I must look like a Hush advert walking about.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:32

So a lot later Laska! I had the Jacqui cardi but it rains a lot here so found I never wore it so sold it on ebay. Wished I had actually kept it and would have bought it again but £90 is actually quite annoying as like you I paid £60. I think I only got what I paid for on ebay. Do you wear it a lot? I think in the cold weather it is fantastic but it is so thick it needs to be worn on its own so no use when it's wet
I think I look like a walking advert too. My jeans, jumpers, shirts, bags, dresses, trousers, shoes area mostly all from hush! I also have a coat ha ha...

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:33

On an email it definitely says the 16th for the New Year collection!

ilovecherries · 14/01/2018 19:34

I wore my grey felix today but there is a LOT of bobbling under the arms. It's pulling off easily, but...

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:37

Oh dear.. I kept mine after saying I was going to return it. Was going to wear it tomorrow but I work with small children tomorrow so will sweat a lot..and its dry clean. I hate dry clean. Why in the hell can they not make it from something you can wash. It cant be that hard surely!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:39

Mind you, the snow is coming...

ilovecherries · 14/01/2018 19:43

It IS a lovely dress on, very cosy and soft and the shoulder line settled after I'd been wearing it for a while. Several people complimented me on it and asked where it was from (always nice when your clothes aren't screaming 'dressed by xxx', even though they like you and Laska I'm a walking Hush billboard). But 3/4 sleeves on a winter dress - just why? I did wear heatgen under it because of the dry clean issue but I'd prefer it not to be on show really. Overall though, I do like it, and even after 12 hours wear it's still looking fresh - apart from the bobbling.

Laska5772 · 14/01/2018 19:45

I have mostly worn it in our freezing office, Never, (probably seems hard to believe when i am so much further south than you , but its local government , they cant afford the heating ) .. Also out in the evening, or out to lunch with parents etc when i know i have either a car or taxi home.. Its true its not the most practical thing and I wouldn't have paid any more for it .. Its a good thing to keep in the car ..

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:50

I can appreciate that as I work in a school and they are always penny pinching. Well its always freezing on a Monday but only before the children come in and then its very warm!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:52

I love 3/4 length arms usually but I get what you mean about the long tee being on show. You could wear a short sleeved one I suppose.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:53

I love 3/4 sleeves as I always roll up!!! Hate sleeves right down to my wrist esp on a dress or shirt.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:56

Well its always freezing on a Monday but only before the children come in and then its very warm!!!!

Was talking about wearing the dress here with this comment. A bit confusing.

Seems you have got quite a lot of wear out of the cardigan Laska. I love the combo of colours and the fringing.

Laska5772 · 14/01/2018 19:56

I wear the plaid flannel nightshirt as a dress!

neveradullmoment99 · 14/01/2018 19:57

I have it in grey and its comfy but have lost weight since I bought it so will sell on. Its nice in the check and a very good price.
