Wedding dresses I tried on today! Opinions please.

I want a big meriangue wedding dress btw I am young and its a big church wedding so bare with me in terms of bigness etc.

So I liked this a lot but it was a bit asymetrical-
dress 1

I loved this one - I keep thinking about it, its very much what I imagined I would like. Will def try on again.
dress 2

I really liked this one, its very 'fluffy' (ie the skirt looks like a duvet) for my tastes but I felt fab in it, really princessy and it was flattering, and now I am home I can't stop thinking about it!! Please ignore the colour in the picture! I would have ivory. I would want to try it on again but I wonder if its the one?

I like number 2, it's lovely... 3 is a bit much for me, but hey, it's your wedding and if you felt wonderful in it, go for it.

My sister had quite a "big" dress (she was also quite young, don't know if that matters) and she looked gorrrrrrrgeous .

I love dress 2,

but to be homest I'm finding it hard to see past the PINK! in dress 3

Dress 1 is very lovely, but I KWYM about the symetry.

But loved both dress 1 and 2.

no 1 is absolutely stunning

no 2 is nice but a bit plain

no 3 is awful (sorry!)

God 3 is awful

2 is the nicest because it's simple. Although I'm not a fan of strapless wedding dresses

smurfgirl - go with whatever you are happiest with. It is YOUR wedding. If you feel lovely, who gives a flying whatnot what other people think. I am sure your DF will be floored by it .

Don't "settle" and then have regrets.

I know you say no straps but did you try different necklines?
this shape neckline suits lots of people better than a straight-across strapless

dress 2 is fine if a bit plain.
dress 3 is too meringue like for me! but hey i'm not wearing it.

No-one will tell you to your face that your wedding dress is vile, but one day in about 10 yers time, your bessie mate will get pissed on too many vodkas and will tell you what everyone really thought and it will break your heart. So choose carefully....
