Tis the season...

The first one I've seen actually for sale is the John Lewis Beauty Advent Calendar. £149 with a great selection of products.
Ordered mine!

I now want the Qvc Tili one too! Its only £40, on the cheaper side. I want the clarins, liberty and have LF's on order. Would it be greedy of me to have 4 Advents😮 I dont want to sacrifice any either!!

The Look Fantastic one looks fantastic - just the design alone! However I'm in Switzerland and getting it delivered here will incur all kinds of border and customs fees. I'll be visiting family in the UK November, but am worried if I have it delivered in the UK, it will take up most of the space in my suitcase for the return. What do people think? It looks very deep.

Last year I had the Lush one and the M&S one and I liked both, but the Lush one didn't come with separate windows - all of the stuff was in the box together, so one opened, there was no longer a surprise so to speak.

The Asos one is already sold out. I was disappointed by this year's Look Fantastic and You. I'll definitely get M&S again and may ask for Liberty again for my birthday next month.Harrods looks great but too expensive.

I have done lots of research and think I am going to go for the look fantastic one, to me it seems the best value. Last year I had liberty which was amazing but there are lots of duplicates this year so I need to find a new one. Love hearing all your views here, I had not thought about the space nk option. I have a video about the research I did on 12 of the most popular here in case anyone is interested:

My Clarins one has arrived. I had it last year too and it was worth every penny. Haven't had to buy any make up this year. Am hoping for the same this year.

@Fishfingersandwich3 - brilliant video, thanks for posting that! As it's my first advent calendar, I'd really like the Liberty one this year but you gave some really balanced advice there.

I was awake in the night debating the ESPA one (I'd really like to try their products but worry that the sizes are too small) or the Liberty one which just looks beautiful. Anyone going for the ESPA one?

@Piccolino2 the Liberty calendar does include an Espa product so you would get a small fix there but the brand has such nice products I can see why you would want it everyday!

Does anyone know when the M&S calendar / gift is likely to be released? I seem to remember you needed to spend £30 last year to be able to buy it?

@fishfinger - I seem to recall reading somewhere that it would be released on the 9th of November. The purchase is £35 I believe.

Also, I found the 2016 Ciaté nail polish calendar for half price at £25 on Perfume Click;
