Well, summer barely happened so we're ready to pack away the shorts and the kaftans and get excited about boots, cosy knits and anything new and shiny.
We're often scared to link what we're lusting after for fear of lurkers buying it before we have the chance. So if you're a lurker, come and join us.
Carrying on from here

Fedup I always loved those crisp bags, I was just having a look at the outnet too to see if I liked any Marant stuff

Marant dress love this, but may be too much material on lower bit

Everyone hang in there, I bet there's something ace, keep shopping motto Wink

I have £100 off £300 too so checking out coats on Matches

Stella love the colour, not sure about the slightly raised shoulder

Max Mara love the colour again

Max Mara have always wanted a cashmere coat

Preen a bit nuts, but doesn't it look warm. I really want a very warm snuggly coat that doesn't use fur. But not sure I can make it down the street without the wrong kind of attention

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 11/10/2017 13:53

I'm doing a lot better, thansk for asking fedup still feeling very tired and generally a bit rough but i'm so much better than i was

Everyonelovessparkles · 11/10/2017 15:27

Glad you are feeling a bit better one.

That blush Max Mara coat marsha is absolutely beautiful. The preen one does look cosy but not sure about the pattern Hmm.

Glad you like the the leather jacket fedup. I find I wear mine a lot at this time of year.

FedupNagging · 11/10/2017 16:12

One pleased to hear your feeling better, hope you're still taking it easy.

Lovely links Marsha, the pastel colours are perfect for you. The SM one does have boxy shoulders but you're tall enough to carry it.

I'm doing some actual 'shop' shopping at the weekend with dsis but apart from trousers (but which style?!) I'm not sure what I'm after. I'm definitely going to have a good look at Hush in JL - there are a few pieces I like but want to check the quality vs price irl.

DryWhiteagainW · 11/10/2017 17:17

Hello!
Hugs to you QueenC and One
Marsha have you snuggled under your new duvet yet? Sounds fab especially on such a grey day.

No fashion news apart from saying that I love my Hobbs patent loafers.
Have worn them every day this week to work;

Monday with BR black ankle grazers and Chambray J Wills frill blouse (loved this outfit.)

Tuesday tweed grey and black fitted dress with white shirt underneath.

Today with black Windser "miracle" A line short skirt not really miraculous as it happens and fushia merino 3/4 sleeve jumper, fabulous finches scarf.

Someone said I always looked "immaculate" at work, rather chuffed didn't want to say that I had only just removed my apron and applied lippy, 5min earlier looked like a crazy woman Grin

And guess what? I've seen some Christmas jumpers in stores"...you know how much I love them........

AmberNectarine · 11/10/2017 18:39

I have a Winser miracle pencil skirt and I think it makes me look a little bit paunchy tbh.

Still need to do an update but frantic with work. Sigh.

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2017 18:52

Brilliant re the loafers Dry nothing better than finding a perfect shoe, I felt the same with the suede Mansurs and pretty much wore them every day

I'm yet to try the duvet because my pocket spring mattress couldn't be bent to go up the stairs Sad. So I have the bed, the duvet but not the right size mattress, still using old one. ARGH back to drawing board Sad. Plus wasted more time waiting for it and will probably go back to JL for a zip link which means another 6 weeks. Will it ever happen?

Everyonelovessparkles · 11/10/2017 20:58

What a nightmare marsha. Hope it all gets sorted soon.

dry your outfits all sound great. Glad you’re enjoying the loafers. Always good when a new purchase is a winner.

Money is obviously burning a hole in my pocket at the moment as I ordered this dress in the black spots and this red top with the 20% off and my £10 birthday voucher. If these go back, then I am DEFINITELY giving up!

Everyonelovessparkles · 11/10/2017 21:03

dry I already have my Xmas Breton from the boden winter preview! I love Christmas 🎄🎅🏻⛄️

Stokey · 11/10/2017 21:27

Oh Marsha, both those blush coat would look perfect on you. Annoying about your mattress.

Really like that Boden dress Everyone but am resigning myself to the fact that I just look dumpy in midi dresses (& skirts), rather than the floaty hippy I envisage!

Great outfits Dry. Meant to say the MD culottes would definitely not make your tiny bum look big as they're surprisingly flattering on my far larger one. But they are far longer on me (and so you) than on the willowy model so are just below my calves. I could take them up but quite like the length.

Shop hope the interview went well

Oh and massive congratulations on the promotion Blingy - well deserved. Sorry am a bit behind times, struggling to keep up. Beautiful bag.

I just bought some more crazy boots. Think I need reining in. To be fair, I did ask Dh to tell me I didn't need them, & he said, No, I think you do....

Oh it wasn't me who recommended the Chloe dupes Fedup, they are lovely though!

Stokey · 11/10/2017 21:29

Just realised lots of "ohs" - apologies for random breathless post!

DryWhiteagainW · 11/10/2017 21:49

Amber my Winser miracle skirt has side pockets on the hips that stick out a bit and make me look hippyer iykwim ......may try to sew them up as I love the thick jersey they use.

Stokey love ohs' it's just how you speak.

I need a Boden code don't panic I'm not ordering anything jaunty

justasecond · 11/10/2017 22:16

Hi everyone
So much to catch up on. I have been lazy keeping up with you all
I finally got a matches code and have splurged big time Blush on black Gucci loafers. I have been in love with them for ages. I got some gym leggings to make up the difference to £600 so got £200 off. Have not bought much else recently and don't really need anything else for a/w so can just about justify them Blush Hope they fit after all that!

Marsha new purchases sound ace. I badly need a new mattress but refuse to buy one until my terrible periods are sorted out [sorry prob tmi] Love the blush max mara coat, its so luxe looking but difficult to keep clean maybe?

everyone I love that watermelon dress, shame it didn't look right.Hope you have better luck with your Boden purchases. I'm looking forward to the new shops at Bicester, particularly Joseph and Acne. Will be nice to have some more clothes shops as its a bit accessories heavy atm.

Blingy your Chloe bag is so gorgeous and congratulations on your promotion, can't remember if I already said congratulations or not!

queenc and one hope you feel better soon Flowers

serenite glad the insurance company finally coughed up. Hope you find one you like soon

lib looking forward to seeing your capsule wardrobe.
dry love those loafers, and your outfits sound perfect
stokey love those boots, very you!
fed up I always see lots of the AH crisp packet bags heavily discounted in Bicester. I'll check the price next time I go

sorry if I missed anyone!!

Everyonelovessparkles · 12/10/2017 07:33

dry 6XNV gets you 20% off tops and dresses. If it’s anything else you want I expect they will be doing 20% off trousers, Accessories etc shortly.

Longislandicetee · 12/10/2017 18:40

Thanks for all the congrats messages!Flowers

Justa which Gucci loafers did you get?

Can't remember all the links now! The melon dress looked great pity it didn't work out.

Longislandicetee · 12/10/2017 18:41

Oh yes just remembered Marsha's lovely links including MaxMara and omg Stokey those boots are crazy!!!

justasecond · 12/10/2017 18:53

its these blingy they arrived today. DH is a bit underwhelmed by them. He thinks they should be more obviously expensive for the price Grin I really like these too. mara has them I think? wasn;t sure which to go for but but would prefer them in leather not suede.

justasecond · 12/10/2017 18:58

I'm not sure either now. I like the marmont too but the suede doesn't seem practical for autumn. What do we all think? Having one of those days with lots on my mind where I can't make a decision!

Everyonelovessparkles · 12/10/2017 19:12

Difficult justa. I think I prefer the marmont but to me they are different shoes for different occasions. The loafers are very classic, probably very comfortable, long lasting but because they are flat maybe too not dressy, quite smart casual. Whereas the marmont seem a bit more fun, whilst still being classic. But the heel and suede makes them a bit more dressy. So guess it depends what you want them for???—helpful—

This cheerful cherry jumper arrived today and is lovely. I find monsoon knitwear washes really well —granny moment—.

FedupNagging · 12/10/2017 19:22

Both shoes are fab Justa & I totally agree with Everyone - different shoes for different occasions. Can you keep both?

Lovely cherry jumper Everyone. I can't open the Boden links for some reason.

Stokey you definitely have the most mad boot collection Grin and love your latest aquisition.

Need to dash as am on my way out for wine with friends, super casual so wearing maison scotch skinnies, white stuff peasant top and stans. Tomorrow is cocktails and food so will need to up my game somewhat!

Longislandicetee · 12/10/2017 21:12

Ooh the Marmont is one of the shoes I have been pondering about Justa. I can't decide between red and the black ones you linked. Currently favouring the red.

not much help

Longislandicetee · 12/10/2017 21:13

I like the cherry jumper Everyone!

justasecond · 12/10/2017 21:22

Love the cherry jumper Everyone glad you have success after your run of bad luck shopping

Definitely can't have both fed up! The flat ones are beautiful in an understated way and I would wear them everyday. Having looked at all the high street versions there is always something lacking imo. The marmont are gorgeous but a bit more bling and I don't think I would use my marmont bag with them at the same time!

justasecond · 12/10/2017 21:24

The red ones are gorgeous blingy I would probably have gone for them in black leather but all gone on Matches, they only have the black suede left in my size

Longislandicetee · 12/10/2017 21:45

Stopppp! Feeling temptedGrin
