Well, summer barely happened so we're ready to pack away the shorts and the kaftans and get excited about boots, cosy knits and anything new and shiny.
We're often scared to link what we're lusting after for fear of lurkers buying it before we have the chance. So if you're a lurker, come and join us.
Carrying on from here

How odd, the model is 5'9 and the regular length say they're 28 inch but hit her ankle. I am 5'6 with tiny legs... I think I'll just have to go and try them on!

shopafrolic · 04/10/2017 22:25

I wear the regular length Blair - I reckon you'd be fine in the short.

FedupNagging · 05/10/2017 08:25

I definitely need new work out gear - luckily no one is super super stylish at my yoga class but still my kit needs an update. I'll have a peek in TK and dsis has recommended Gap too - I quite fancy this top

Fab boots Shop - do you have a calendar to cross off the days? Grin

Great slouchy boots Everyone - how would you style them?

I need to leave in 30 minutes and still can't decide on ootd - weather is miserable

Have a good day all

Longislandicetee · 05/10/2017 08:43

Just got caught in a short and very heavy shower.

My perfectly styled hair in soft wavy curls hanging around my shoulders is now in a frizzy very wet bun.

My LKB trench coat is soaked at the cuffs. Oh and Ds had made me a badge which I was wearing for the school run but hadn't had the chance to take off yet so the ink on it has run onto my coat!

My coat wasn't buttoned when it started so my Hobbs knitted dress is soaked on the grey skirt bit.

And my poor Balenciaga got wet but is fine.

Hope the start of your day is better than this!!😱

BerniceBobsHerHair · 05/10/2017 09:26

Blingy that sounds like an awful start to your day. Hopefully it can only get better!

It is sunny here not helpful

That's a funny top Fedup

Just spotted these, they're soooo pretty

VivaVegas · 05/10/2017 10:19

Morning!
Not been on for ages for a number of reasons, so have quickly skimmed read the last few days.
Welcome to all the new ladies (although not so new now!).
Love those Boden shoes Bernice, very me!
I need a slouchy black knit for Winter Shop, what's the sizing like on the Woolovers sweater?
I do a lot of running and I hate to say it but Aldi running leggings are fab, I have a pair that were £9.99 and got me through all my marathon training and the actual run and are still going strong. They have running gear in again from 15th Oct.
Have bought a couple of things, these Grey Whistles Jeans and these fab red boots. Fancied jumping on the red boot bandwagon but didn't want to spend a lot, they are so comfy and like Blair am wearing them a lot already which is a good sign!
I want to pack my summer stuff away but we have a warm holiday for half term so need to hold fire until after then.
Those of you that have leather leggings (I have the M & S leather front/ponte back ones) I want some black heels to wear with mine (have lots of coloured shoes but not plain black) what sort of thing looks good? I was considering a black sock boot but not sure, or something like these black heels but maybe they are too chunky?? I want something I can wear with a dress and opaques as well so they get worn more.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/10/2017 10:20

Oh no Blingy poor you! I think I got caught in the same shower (only about 30 seconds walking/running from my house to my car - I don't have a driveway) and I'd just straightened my hair!

I saw this dress and thought of you.

Thanks shop I'm going to try them on later. Have found a 15% off code so will ask them to honour this in the shop if I decide to buy, fingers crossed.

Wow Bernice those shoes are gorgeous. When I opened the link I instantly thought of one particular Voguette!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/10/2017 10:51

Viva thanks for the tip on the Aldi leggings, I will try and have a look. Your red boots look great, I like the shiny bit on the heel.

shopafrolic · 05/10/2017 12:23

TTS Viva It isn't a slouchy jumper.

queencerulean · 05/10/2017 14:41

bernce those shoes are fab. It they weren’t pointy, I’d hav to get them. Also loved those Hobbs ones you got and had to sit on my hands.
blingy sounds dreadful. Lovely and sunny here too but rained overnight.

Fashion fail today. Wearing my clarks grey brogues which I’d forgotten how comfy they are but forgot that I hate them with black trousers. Just haven’t felt right all day.

shopafrolic · 05/10/2017 19:06

I opened that link and thought QueenC would love those if they weren't so pointy Grin

queencerulean · 05/10/2017 19:17

I love that we know each other so well Grin

Shop I got the zero gravity leggings! The short length was perfect, thank you Flowers

shopafrolic · 05/10/2017 19:37

Yay Blair I'm pleased they fit - I thought they would. What print did you go for?

shopafrolic · 05/10/2017 19:37

I know QueenC it's fab isn't it?
So I have a job interview next week. Not even sure if I want to go back to work..... Hmm

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/10/2017 19:50

Plain black shop. I think I might get a couple of printed bits in the sales. Well done on the job interview - exciting!

FedupNagging · 06/10/2017 18:32

I think Blingy already has that HL dress - or something very similar.

Gorgeous red boots Viva - they've already sold out.

I'm very miffed that the Mango order hasn't arrived yet; the jacket would go with so much that I'm wearing this week.

I've finally worn the block heel shoes a few times and am very pleased with them; they look great with cropped flares (worn Monday) and 7/8's (worn Tuesday) and whistles giraffe print dress with opaques (yesterday). Not so great with flared jeans though.

Good luck next week Shop - you don't have to take the job but good interview experience. Also, think of the new wardrobe you'd need.....

I've been out a few nights this week so looking forward to a night in tonight with a bottle glass of wine.

Longislandicetee · 07/10/2017 07:21

Morning! Did anyone see that Herve Leger just died? He was only 60Sad

Loved the dress you linked Blair. I would be tempted but FedUp is right, it sort of reminded me of this Alexander McQueen dress even though they look nothing alikeGrin

I finally wore my Ganni blouse yesterday. I loved how good it looked! I wore it with dark blue Gapkid jeans and R&B (kiddies!) ballet flats for work yesterday and then out to dinner and theatre with Dh.

Longislandicetee · 07/10/2017 09:37

My Mytheresa order arrived. It's beautifully wrapped. The bag is so lush and the Miu Miu dress is a winner too. Less sure about the McQueen dress so it will probably go back. Sadly, still got a few more post surgery pounds to shift so anything that makes me look like a sausage is out!

VivaVegas · 07/10/2017 09:52

Gorgeous bag and blouse Blingy!
Full of cold and feeling rough, ate colds, not really ill but enough to make you feel pretty grotty!

Serenite · 07/10/2017 20:56

Love your new bag Blingy, health to enjoy it (and spray it before you use it!) can you imagine wearing it and getting caught in the rain like you did the other day😱 Love the blouse also. The R&b kids section is a bit mad isn't it, great for snapping up flats/loafers though I have to admit I like the little r&b tag - just don't know if it's worth the extra cash 🤔
What colour of jacket did you order Fedup, I love Mango leather jackets - though, talking about spraying bags, does anyone spray protect their coloured leather jackets? Hope it's turned up today. I loved the sound of your outfits too.
Those were fab red boots you picked up Viva, I also looked at buying them after I saw your link but they're gone in my size. It's a trend I love but don't want to throw too much money at. I am always in the market for a good black slouchy jumper, I like oversized as I don't like anything tight, so I'll be looking with interest what you might get - I've bought from woolovers before though and found generally the sizing is big but good quality.
Blair I buy my gym leggings from Asda, cheap and cheerful 😁 (a lot of the time they're not used!) I'm going to have a peep in Aldi too when the gym things come in.
Shop I hope your interview goes well; I can imagine you'll look immaculate and it's easier to decide if you want the job once it's offered.
Just to let you know I got my insurance agreed for my poor lost bag (I do miss it) and they were quite generous. So I'll be on the look out now for a new one. As much as l love the current season in Chanel, they're not what I'm after so am open to buying pre owned in perfect condition and from a reputable seller.

My (few) requirements are - I need quilted, able to be worn cross body, cc lock, preferably gold hardware, probably a seasonal flap, ideally with a zip inside, open to lambskin, calfskin or caviar, not too big, not too small and needs to be black.... Now. That's not too hard to source is it 😱

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/10/2017 22:11

Serenite that's great news re the bag, what a relief. Finding a replacement will be fun.

Blingy gorgeous Chloe bag, I love the hardware.

Hope you feel better soon Viva, it's that time of year :/

I had a lovely day on Regent St today with my Dsis... knackering though! Didn't buy much (a pair of timberlands that I've wanted since uni, and a uniqlo down jacket for my holiday) but managed to try on or look at quite a few things and conclude they don't suit me at all (wide leg cropped trousers, check blazer).

kittyhello · 07/10/2017 22:32

Such a beautiful bag Blingy it looks like it will go with a lot of outfits. Well done on the promotion too

Shop good luck with the interview, what will you wear? Love the Jensens - super stylish.

Blair your red boot outfit from the other day sounded very stylish.

Serenite great news in the Chanel bag pay out.

Sorry if I’ve missed other news/buys, I’m on the app and can’t read back so I’m using my wine/gin fuelled memory - not good Confused

Sent the Gucci belt back for the larger size 80cm was okay but I wanted extra holes for weight gainGrin so got the 85cm instead.

queencerulean · 08/10/2017 10:44
