Reasonably priced everyday perfume

I love Chanel chance eau tendre but it's expensive so I keep it for holidays and nights out.

But I'd like something new for everyday and work wear. Normally wear clarins eau dynamisante through the winter and eau resourcesant in the summer but they don't seem to last long and people can't smell them on me.

So I'm looking for something long lasting, strong but not migraine inducing, and not as expensive as Chanel

What's your everyday fave?

M&S Issy dupe is called Aqua now.

MinisWin · 31/07/2017 21:06

Dolce & Gabbana L'Imperatrice is lovely, a great everyday perfume, totally underrated and usually especially cheap in airports.

thisismadness77 · 31/07/2017 21:07

DKNY Be Delicious.

Ellieboolou27 · 31/07/2017 21:08

Red by m&s
Pink by next
Both always get commented on how lovely I smell Smile

notsusan · 31/07/2017 21:08

This website does perfumes 'in the area of' ones that you know 😉. MUCH cheaper alternative and actually decent quality, just watch the spray, which comes out quite violently!
E.g. Coco madamoiselle - colour me purple
La vie et belle - perfumer's choice natalie
Black opium - perfumer's choice valerie...and definitely loads more but I'm not certain which: Www.world-class.co.uk

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

the pale pink opaque cuboid bottle by Narciso Rodríguez (think it might just be called Narciso Rodríguez)

Flower by Kenzo

Some of the Zara perfumes - definitely try well before you buy (I spritzed myself with one of them while queuing for the till the other day and felt like I was in a cloud of petrol fumes until I was able to shower it off!)

The "facial mist" in rose and aloe vera from H&M is also great for a very light summer scent that you can reapply whenever you wish - in the make-up section in a small pump spray bottle. 4.99€ here so probably 4 pounds in U.K.

notsusan · 31/07/2017 21:09

I also really like paradise from next. Massively underrated.

LockedOutOfMN · 31/07/2017 21:10

Used to like Lacoste Touch of Pink but now find it a bit sickly.

MavisFlumpTheFairy · 31/07/2017 21:10

Fidji by Guy la Roche, it's been around for years but is lovely, lasts well too.

YoungGirlGrowingOld · 31/07/2017 21:14

Used to love Velvet Hour which was a bargain Kate Moss one. Sadly discontinued. Used to get loads of compliments and it was cheap as chips!

MozzchopsThirty · 31/07/2017 21:14

Notsusan I can't make any sense of that website

M&S Radiance about £12.
I always get complimented on it, it's a citrussy musk if that makes sense.

Ollivander84 · 31/07/2017 21:28

Oh and a PP linked above to amazon - al rehab soft is a lovely vanilla scent
4160 tuesdays aren't too spendy for the smaller sizes
Clean perfume (that's the brand, they do different scents) are lovely http://www.allbeauty.com/search/?q=clean
Worth looking at other perfumes on the above link as some good offers

Couldashouldawoulda · 31/07/2017 21:39

Hey, I wear Eau Tendre most days and no one ever comments on it! How many squirts do you put on each time when you use it, OP? Maybe I'm underdoing it....

notsusan · 31/07/2017 21:47

Perfumes are all listed here: m.world-class.co.uk/Fragrances.aspx

notsusan · 31/07/2017 21:52

Just found out that this one is actually meant to be 'like' Chanel chance m.world-class.co.uk/Fragrances/Search/Poker

mintich · 31/07/2017 21:53

Ghost sweetheart

Kelsar · 31/07/2017 21:55

I second Lidls Suddenly - I get comments on it all the time. Everyday perfume I like next as well as they are not too expensive. They do a new range of fragrances which you can wear on there own or mix. They are very nice and last all day.

WarwickAlice · 31/07/2017 22:03

Amor amor by Cacharel. Had it since I was about 15 and still love it :)

happymumof4crazykids · 01/08/2017 00:31

Cerutti 1881 it's my favourite perfume I so miss wearing it but I developed an allergy to it when I was pregnant with my 4th baby and now I can't wear it all! People always complimented on how lovely it smelt :)

Auldspinster · 01/08/2017 08:10

I think Lidl Suddenly has the edge over Coco Mademoiselle.

I have the Milton Lloyd versions of Coco and Chanel No.5 which are very similar indeed to the originals.

Marks and Spencer New York, New York is lovely and would echo what's been said about Red.

Zara used to do lovely scents but haven't been in recently to try.

Blackandpurple · 01/08/2017 08:24

I love New Look fragrances. Blush is my fave, all under a tenner! Plus Avon!

Blackandpurple · 01/08/2017 08:27

Do M&s still nake the fragrance which is so like Issey Miyake?

justaweeone · 01/08/2017 09:04

I like similar fragrances and I just bought this for the gym
https://www.avon.uk.com/product/1073/
Also SJP lovely is a nice cheap everyday fragrance. I bought it after complimenting 2 people and have since received lots of compliments myself. You can pick
It up really cheap often at places like Savers.

CakeNinja · 01/08/2017 09:16

happy, I wore that in my teenage years and absolutely loved it. Hadn't smelt it in ages when someone walked past me last week wearing it - an instant time travel, and still smells gorgeous!
Sad you can't wear it anymore Sad
