Got a free 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and a free home candle today with two purchases. So did most of my friends. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

I've been trying for ages to win something other than the engraving and finally won the 30ml neroli and basil cologne ..no idea what Ive bought ..can't remember now..think its a candle

thanks op..its dangerously addictive

MountainDweller · 21/06/2017 00:23

I bought two things yesterday and got free basil and neroli perfume and candle. Am tempted to play again now 😱 as I love the dark amber and ginger lily for winter/evening.

Just an extra tip in case anyone likes Osmanthus Blossom - It has been a limited edition a few times and I love it. It's not on the main page but comes up if you put it in the search box, so I ordered it! Very pleased.

Like a other poster I'm abroad and slightly worried about what my mum will say when all the boxes turn up at hers ☺️

Never made it work on my iPad though....

EnidButton · 21/06/2017 00:58

Omg they still do the Almond and Macaroon candle! It isn't on the main page but a search brings it up. I'd assumed it had gone forever. Mountain I could kiss you! 😊 (Don't worry I won't Grin)

MuffinWar · 21/06/2017 05:51

I haven't received shipping notifications for any of my orders yet....

This damn game! So addictive.

I got the Basil and Neroli last night so ordered (at 00:30) the Earl Grey and Cucumber that I like and I've run out of my usual Orange Blossom. Let's hope I like it. I couldn't find it in one of the fragrance families to figure it out so may go for a sniff test before opening it.

fruitbats · 21/06/2017 08:09

Muffin Mine arrived when I ordered but hey went into my spam folder. Try a look in there.

Chickydoo · 21/06/2017 08:16

No shipping notification here yet.
Although money has left account via pay pal

Ginger782 · 21/06/2017 08:22

Sad This is only on the UK site, not the Aus site.

chloechloe · 21/06/2017 08:22

I've been trying again this morning and there don't seem to be any new fragrances coming up, just the same as yesterday. Anybody else had any more luck? Though I should really stop trying since I've already made two orders!

poppadoppadom · 21/06/2017 08:35

Just tried again. Still basil and neroli cologne.

Squashit · 21/06/2017 08:35

It's very overpriced though isn't it?

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 08:48

@Squashit because it's a cologne?

It's addictive, I'm here this morning to see what everyone else "won" Grin It was in the afternoon yesterday they added new fragrances.

I'm annoyed that I didn't notice yesterday during checkout that my 100ml bottle had 'run out' and was deleted from my basket...have emailed them to cancel the £30 hand wash Shock. Anyone know if they take returns?

TitilatedOcelot · 21/06/2017 09:07

I keep getting offered 30ml Basil & Neroli cologne, the candle or free engraving. Have been offered the amber & ginger lily body cream a few times as well, which is a good deal, but I let it go as I know I won't use it.

So far have bought a small cologne for SIL to put away for Xmas, and have the free candle for me.

Am going to pop into my local department store for a sniff test later to see if I can justify another purchase just to get free perfume! If I can bag a 100ml, I will definitely be tempted!

BumWad · 21/06/2017 09:18

I'm getting the usual too, engraving or neroli cologne keep trying y'all!Grin

Tinnie88 · 21/06/2017 09:22

This is an amazing deal. Ive got the perfume for me and a candle that I'll give my friend as part of her wedding gift. Do you think the purfume will still be ok at Christmas if I put away for gifts?

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 09:22

@Mrs9C they've always been good with returns in my experience. I knew someone who returned a candle with a cm left in it because the wick had been lost in the wax and she got a full new candle because 'she had paid for a full candle so she should get a full candle'. It's Estée Lauder and they're generally good with customer service!

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 09:23

@Tinnie88 yes absolutely fine I'd think! Dark and dry place of course not on your windowsill Wink

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 09:24

I'm getting the usual too - engraving/30 ml basil and neroli

OP posts:
Mrs9C · 21/06/2017 09:24

Wow @foodiefil that's amazing customer service!

Squashit · 21/06/2017 09:49

I think it is all incredibly overpriced. Having tried some of the perfumes I feel they are not good value for money in terms of longevity.

Each to their own and all that but it is easy to be swept up with feeling you have a bargain when 'freebies' are on offer.Who actually thinks £44 for a candle is reasonable? Seriously?

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 09:57

@Squashit you're right, each to their own. But people are enjoying getting products they would normally love buying themselves for free. It's a good freebie. In free gift world. I've paid more for a candle and I love it 💅🏼

OP posts:
TitilatedOcelot · 21/06/2017 09:57

I have always thought £40+ for a candle is insane too. However, since SIL has one of their colognes on her wishlist, I thought I might as well buy it now to put away for later, and get a free candle for me to see what all the fuss is about!

Agree it's easy to get swept up with "offers" - I keep telling myself it's only a bargain if you need/want it anyway.

Still keep checking and hoping for a 100ml freebie though!!

foodiefil · 21/06/2017 10:02

Empty! So it's a great bargain for me (getting the 100ml free)

£44 for a candle that will act as an ornament as well as a scent provider is how I see it. I have them on my mantlepiece and don't light them every day but they look good and smell fab and it feels like a treat to put them on.

I've paid far more dresses I've only worn once and then just hang in the wardrobe.
