Jo Malone giveaway - anyone know why?!

Got a free 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and a free home candle today with two purchases. So did most of my friends. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

ssd it is quite a heavy fragrance. I have the perfume and body oil but decided against getting the creme when it came up as a freebie. I like it for going out in winter but would not wear it day to day. I find it hard to describe but it is along the lines of pom noir but heavier, IYKWIM.

I wish I had actually read the email I got from them yesterday and taken action, rather than leave it till today LOL. I was in the market for a new bottle of Pom Noir and was going to get it in duty free next month. For the price of the 100ml bottle, I placed two orders and got a candle, two 30ml perfumes and a hand/body wash. Not bad I guess!!

Sad, amber is a heavy winter floriental. I'll be saving it for the colder months.

Just got the Orris & Sandalwood 100ml free! It's DHs favourite so I bought myself a £44 perfume as well. Excellent deal!

I also got the 100ml orris and sandlewood, so bought a shower oil for me. It's DH's birthday next week, he doesn't need to know it was free. Considering he got me bugger all for mine he should be grateful. Hopefully he'll look it up and buy me something to make up for it

Fantastic. I'm tempted to do it again for Xmas presents but I've never bought an Xmas Essentials so early before. And well in this heat it just doesn't seem right. So I may have to buy something else for myself

I only seem to be getting the options of engraving, amber and ginger body creme, 30ml basil and neroli or the basil and neroli candle. I've got the candle but I'm determined to get something else now!

Is the amber and gingerlily similar to any of their other scents? Tempted by the creme but not sure whether it'll be for me...

These new ones are making me tempted. Think I'll hold out for some lighter scents tomorrow maybe! Yes they are definitely getting more money out of me than they would have otherwise!

What does Basil and Neroli smell like please? Is the musk very noticeable?

I keep getting the B&N candle. I like Blackberry and Bay and the limited addition they did a while ago, Almond and Macaroon.

It's fresh. A bit lemony. Smells like an Italian summer - to me. Also smells expensive to me but it does remind me of Neroli Portofino. I don't think it's like Lime Basil and Mandarin, not as sharp. But you sound like you prefer the fruity ones?

is it anything like French Lime Blossom?

Christ. I didn't realise it was going on all week. I've had two goes already, used the same email address so I hope they don't cancel one, I'd cleared cookies and it let me have another go with same account details so we shall see.
I've not managed to get a 100ml perfume yet

Bought a shower oil and got the orris 100ml free
Bought a 30ml cologne and got the candle free

I sort of hope that the don't add more scents this week, I can't afford to spend anymore!

Foodie Ooh I like the sound of it smelling like an Italian summer. We've been to Puglia a couple of times and I can kind of imagine what you're describing. I do like either gourmand or fruity scents but for the house fresh does sound nice.
