Fine hair holy grail and believe me i don't say that lightly

holy mother of god this stuff is brilliant! leaves my hair soft, thicker looking and shiny with plenty of grip - all the best qualities of a glosser, mousse and the metric shit ton of dry shampoo i usually use Grin in one fab product. My fine, long, grease prone hair can go days without washing using this stuff. seriously, it's the best thing i have ever used on my hair - and i've used a lot.

the mousse comes in to types for adding volume or for curly hair - i've only used the volume one but my friend who has has beautiful natural curls is always on the lookout for non-crunchy curl mousse so i might grab her a bottle of the other type and see what she thinks of it Smile

i've tried 7 day volume too - it's ok but nothing special for me Sad weirdly the original fibrology is ok but the fibrology air makes my hair look coated and greasy - bizarre!

the main reason i like this stuff so much is that it gives my hair enough grab to hold a style without making it crunchy and dull - my hair actually feels and looks nice after using it which makes a change!

I've only tried the citrus fresh and it was an accidental discovery. It won't change lives but for two quid you get an extra day without washing your hair if you're lucky Grin

It feels a little bit like my hair has dry shampoo on the roots... but without the sweaty talc feeling you get putting dry shampoo on slightly greasy hair. Like a pre-emptive strike against the limp greasy stage.

purple I have tigi colour goddess but mine has sulfates??

FriendofBill · 26/02/2017 19:48

My hair is pretty crap.
This has made a difference to it, how it hangs/looks.
Without using any other product.
It's Boots new own label shampoo called 'beautiful hair'
They do a volumising one too, and s colour one, but this is better.
Without conditioner.

Really mint?

PurpleNurple69 · 26/02/2017 20:01

Bloody hell mint it's the first listed ingredient in the shampoo 😡

When I was searching for SLS free shampoo this came up which is a why I went for it.

OldJoseph · 26/02/2017 20:02

Well I'm going to give it a try (even though I'd promised myself not to try anymore volumising product ever again).

OohNoDooEy · 26/02/2017 20:06

Hello hair twins... I've heard about putting dry shampoo on at night so that it works in (?) overnight and am going to try that. Anything to get the second day'd be great!

StealthPolarBear · 26/02/2017 20:11

Going to try this

MovingOnUpMovingOnOut · 26/02/2017 21:46

I've put some in my Ocado delivery :)

StrawberryStar · 26/02/2017 22:52

Oh I think I need to try this. I'm sick of my hair looking limp and well just meh. For a shampoo have you tried herbal essence 0%. My hair feels really clean after using it and I can just about get 2 days before washing.

NapoleonsNose · 27/02/2017 07:20

Elnett is 3 for 2 in Tesco at the moment if anyone is passing. Going to pick some up tomorrow and report back.

Truckingalong · 27/02/2017 09:14

It has excellent reviews on boots. I'm going to give it a whirl.

HeyMacWey · 27/02/2017 09:33

I'm always on the look out for something to boost my fine hair.

I've been using a new John frieda core restore shampoo /conditioner/serum.

Theconditioner is clear so doesn't weigh my hair down.

My hair does feel considerably thicker after using it - you do get a bit of build up though and your hair does feel like it's got product in it and I need to use a clarifying shampoo once a week.

mintmagnummm · 27/02/2017 10:07

purple I wouldn't worry about it, it obviously works for you and I agree it's the best for preserving colour! I e tried a dozen sulfate free ones and they have been the WORST!

OverthinkingSpartacus · 27/02/2017 14:01

I ordered some on amazon after reading this thread, it was £5.39, I have Amazon prime and it arrived at 8am this morning.

I can't wait to try it. Might take before and after photos lol.

I got one for £5.50 in Tesco today and they had 3 for 2 on them and other Elnett products.

I'm so going to buy this. Tried the Elvive clay stuff, fribrology and all sorts. Currently on head and shoulders and an oat conditioner but can't think who buy but it's so limp one day in.

rubybleu · 28/02/2017 07:55

First use - it works for me. My second day hair is still styled and not at all lank/greasy. Just needed a quick brush this morning as opposed to a wash or remedial work with straighteners and dry shampoo.

I even bought the wrong one (curls) so very happy!

KnitFastDieWarm · 28/02/2017 10:37

ooh excellent Grin mine could do with a wash today (the toddler snot isn't a great look Blush) but the ends held what i fancifully like to think of as a duchess of cambridge posh girl style wave for two days - usually they go straggly and/or frizzy sleeping on them.

Yes! I love this stuff - it works really well with my Babyliss Big Hair for boofy volume and smooth curls.
