Sorry that was massively long and probably of very little help!!

plumstone · 27/04/2017 16:34

SPf Kwick - every day without fail - won't necessarily make it go away but will help from getting any worse!!!!

lifeistooshort · 27/04/2017 16:59

mint for itchy scalp (mine is so itchy I literally make myself bleed removing the scabs TMI!!) I have just started to use the body shop ginger shampoo which was recommended on another threat and it does seem to have made a big difference.

Hair products I love for dry hair are Deva Curl no poo, Deval Curl one condition (Amazon) . Very light but very moisturizing and L'Oreal extraordinary oil (the light one).

You can also buy samples of colorphlex on Amazon, it is a bit like olpaplex at a fraction of a cost and I used it last month and my hair was very glossy and shiny. It is supposed to "rebond" your hair fibers together. Will probably buy again .

DragonNoodleCake · 27/04/2017 21:48

Mint. I've said many many times, it maybe expensive but once you go Redken you never go back. They do a scalp relief shampoo that's great and the all soft range is my holy grail. I've recommended the cleansing cream shampoo on her for those with greasy hair and many would agree it's great.

I never mess around when it comes to hair products!

I only stray from Redken to use the Cloud Nine magic potion quick dry and protect spray! Another holy grail

mintmagnummm · 28/04/2017 06:39

Thank you all for the shampoo advice, it's so hard knowing what to try next when u have already wasted so much ££ AngrySad

kwick · 28/04/2017 07:22

Thanks @plumstone yep I use SPF every day

I think I am going to try Head and Shoulders @mintmagnummm - I noticed yesterday my scalp has not flaky and itchy... I hope not as a result of the oily hair shampoos I have been using Confused

I have an empty:

  • Nuxe Reve de Miel lip moisturising stick - ok, very convenient as a stick. Not replacing as have so many open lip balms at the mo I need to get a GRIP!!!

Head and shoulders make mine worse

kwick · 28/04/2017 08:39

Well I settled for Superdrug's own brand....

OP posts:
mintmagnummm · 28/04/2017 09:10

The problem is my hair is coloured and damaged and usually the ones targeted for scalp problems are not colour friendly and ale hair dry

plumstone · 28/04/2017 12:50

Well on the back of my finished Vichy serum I have purchased the Ordinary Buffet for am and pm serum use and their Reship oil as a night oil.

About to finish my Nivea Q10 moisturiser and the dreaded Elizabeth Arden SPF for face - this is my nemeses and cannot be gone quick enough!!!! Really not sure on what moisturiser, used Nivea sensitive for years, then worked through the samples, freebies and now have one which I am about to finish and cannot remember what I liked and what I don't - well just about to go and get eyebrows done in large dept store so no doubt will manage to have a splurge at the beauty counter.

kwick · 28/04/2017 19:30

My hair is coloured too... will report back!

mintmagnummm · 29/04/2017 06:47

Kwick I got the soaper duper shower gel it's sooooo nice GO GET SOME Grin

FrustratedFrugal · 29/04/2017 07:04

I've finished a Joik Grapefruit + mandarin body lotion. Thick bright yellow cream with a lovely, uplifting citrus smell. It was a pleasure to use this one and it saved my winter legs. The only slight problem was that it contains carrot oil that can stain light clothes and your skin - I always wore cheap H&M gray leggings under trousers or jeans so had no issues but will use something else during the bare legs season. Might repurchase this for next winter though, I really loved this.

8/ #12disciples done!

CantChoose · 29/04/2017 08:43

I have FINALLY finished the s&g orangegasm shower gel. I quite liked this but it was a massive bottle and I was so bored of it by the end. I also hated the pump design - I ended up decanting it into another bottle. I've treated myself to a Korres Santorini vine from the stash, this is my favourite and I'm in the middle of a very stressful work period so im hoping it will cheer me up in the mornings!
I've cut open a mini hand cream and a full size face moisturiser so I'm getting there!
On the other hand I had brows done at benefit this week because my usual lady did them badly last time and they have me a freebie mini brow gel thing. So I have three of those now, in colours 1,3 and 5 :/

kwick · 29/04/2017 09:18

@mintmagnummm you are enabler!!! but ok then!!!

Great work @FrustratedFrugal and @CantChoose !!!

I have two near empties:

  • purminerals impact mascara from the Look Fantastic advent calendar - only ik and has gone clumpy
  • Dr Organic snail gel face serum - which is nearly empty, currently decanting into travel pot. I did not like the texture of this and did not have any miracle results. I have no serums in my stash but 2 opened facial oils which I want to have a good stab at before buying anything more... we shall see how I hold out!

FrustratedFrugal · 29/04/2017 09:38

CantChoose I switched to Santorini Vine as well after finishing a really boring Dove shower gel.
Mega stressful times at work here too, thank God for a long weekend!

Strawberryfield12 · 29/04/2017 10:10

Oh, I just finished the Stenders lip balm, have had it since last summer, have Bigelow rose salve in place.

woodhill · 29/04/2017 10:56

2 empties - aloe shower gel and a body lotion from a gift set.

CantChoose · 29/04/2017 12:15

The lovely smell makes me smile in the morning so I'm not dreading going in frugal. Sorrry you're stressed too! I'm waiting on an important result midweek so it will either significantly improve or will get drastically worse :/ fingers crossed for the former!! I'm working the first three may weekends in a row unfortunately so will be making the most of this one!

Strawberryfield12 · 29/04/2017 14:23

Argh, I just ordered the Red magazine beauty box. They sent the discount code for the bank holiday weekend and I wobbled... all the great progress I was making.... apart from sudocream, which I struggle to see beyond being a bum cream, it has some nice products in.

kwick · 29/04/2017 18:13

I just bought the Soaper Duper - I hope I got the right flavour? I got the Ginger one!

OP posts:
littlepooch · 29/04/2017 19:24

What is this soaper duper stuff and where can I get it?

I finished a liz Earle eye bright lotion. Nice but not really sure I can justify buying it right now, it's not really an essential and I think I'd rather put the money towards something like a serum when I need a new one!

I am very close to the end for 2 more products - I thought I was finished then cut them open to find lots more!

kwick · 29/04/2017 19:53

@littlepooch it is a shower gel that has loads of lovely ingredients in it and I have seen a number of vloggers rave about it. You can get it at Tesco's or at the soaper duper website. They have body scrubs and creams too.

I may have bought the Nivea in shower moisturiser too

and two handcreams

and a radox bath foam
