Well, I had to didn't I? Grin Today I'm wearing W7 Viva La Berry in Berry Nice, which is a pinkish toned berry shade.

I've just looked at a review for Amazing Grace and I agree it looks beautiful and I think it would suit most complexions and hair colours. It is stunning! 💄

BubblesDarling · 05/02/2017 15:50

I agree with Buster & Love ( sounds like 80's revival band 😂). I've have swatched this a couple of times. Truly gorgeous. Have you worn many Mattes before Koala? CT ones are quite moisturising for a matte.

I need to have a look at Ruby Woo & Lady danger next time I'm near a Mac counter. ( I have to return a skirt to Oasis, so this is looking like a real possibility! ).

The Dior pallet looks lovely Buster. I hope you feel better soon. Incidentally I brought ABH Modern Renaissance earlier in the week. I normally shy away from the more hyped pallets. But darn it, it is gorgeous.

BusterGonad · 05/02/2017 15:57

Bubbles I've just looked at reviews for that, it does look lovely, I looked at Temptalias review, she's the best, it looks great. Have you seen Jeffree Stars' makeup, I'm not sure I like it, I've never heard of it until recently. I'd rather pay £40 for a Dior or Chanel palette tbh!

BusterGonad · 05/02/2017 15:58

Than a Jeffree Star not your lovely ABH!

BubblesDarling · 05/02/2017 16:08

Hmm not a fan of JS. It's a popular brand but like you rather invest in a Dior/Chanel. My fav is KVT light & shade. I ordered a £7 eyeshadow from a stockist of JS, in the parcel was a JS highlighter I know I didn't order. I emailed the company. Never heard anything back. I've not even opened it. 😳

BusterGonad · 05/02/2017 16:33

I think I've reached the age where I can't be dealing with new trendy brands! Lol!

seefeld · 05/02/2017 19:32

Can I join? I started wearing makeup again a few months ago after a break of a few years Blush And yesterday I found myself in MAC and bought Faux (mauve nude) Mangrove (red with orange) and the Taraji P Henson Viva Glam (fuschia) lipsticks. I used to love lipstick so excited about getting stuck in.

Wore Faux today and felt so much more together and polished. It's a MLBB shade on me.

Also need to go through my makeup box and work out which, if any, lipsticks have survived the past few years of neglect. Have also been googling and taking note of your recommendations ready to check them out in person soon.

What do you all do about lip liner? Do you have a different one for each lipstick? My lip line is a little uneven and patchy in one area and I think the bright colours draw attention to it.

BusterGonad · 05/02/2017 20:00

Hello Seafeld how exciting your Mac purchases sound! I have a selection of lip liners to go with various lipsticks, I have a red/orange which I team up with corals and reds with a orange tone, i have a pure red, browny nude and my favorite is my Mac Magenta with I wear with berry shades and hot fushsia pinks. Generally lip liners kind of lend themselves to many colours! Generally I always wear a lip liner but that's because I like to make the most of my lips and I'm a stickler when it comes to applying my make up....it must be perfect! 😂

seefeld · 05/02/2017 20:18

Thanks Buster, feel another shopping trip coming on!

BusterGonad · 05/02/2017 21:19

The Rimmel automatic ones are good. Exaggerate I think. Obviously the Mac are great but £££. The Max factor ones are good too. The No7 automatic ones are really nice as they have a in built sharper in the end, pull the end off and you can shave the lead.

seefeld · 05/02/2017 22:27

Those sound great, definitely prefer highstreet prices Buster so thanks for the recommendations. I've just been through my lipstick stash and weeded out the ones that have turned and ones I don't like or don't suit me. And I've written a list dividing them into colour categories so I can focus my search (geek).

BusterGonad · 06/02/2017 04:50

Seafeld your dedication is inspiring! A list!!!! Maybe I need to make lists too!!!

KoalaDownUnder · 06/02/2017 05:07

Have you worn many Mattes before Koala? CT ones are quite moisturising for a matte.

No, and I'm a bit worried about that as my lips tend to be quite dry.

I just love the colour!

Buster and Love - thanks! That's what I'm hoping. Argh, maybe I'll just order it and hope for the best.

KoalaDownUnder · 06/02/2017 05:10

This is a picture of a model wearing Charlotte Tilbury 'Amazing Grace', and my colouring is similar to hers (although maybe a bit lighter), so...?

BusterGonad · 06/02/2017 05:16

Koala you know you want it and we know you want it! Lol. I say go for it, new modern high end mattes are generally not drying (except Mac). I say go for it, but I would as I'm obsessed! Grin

BusterGonad · 06/02/2017 05:17

I honestly think it is a suit all shade.

loveslipstick · 06/02/2017 06:34

I don't think you'll regret it. Well I didn't when I got mine 😂😂😂

KoalaDownUnder · 06/02/2017 07:14

Okay fuck it, I'm ordering it enablers Grin

seefeld · 06/02/2017 07:29

I love that colour koala! Go for it!

Lottapianos · 06/02/2017 07:41

Good work Koala. I have dry lips too and struggle with MAC mattes, but have no trouble at all with Charlotte Tilbury

loveslipstick · 06/02/2017 07:44

Today I am wearing Kat Von D Lolita II

MrsAHotch · 06/02/2017 07:48

My name is Mrs Hotch and I have a ridiculous amount of lipsticks. After finishing maternity leave last year, I did promise myself to wear one every day and then only ended up wearing it to work (and I only work 3 days a week). Even then, it was the same two colours Blush

I'm trying to shame myself into wearing them all by making a mega list of all colours. Please give me a push Grin

BubblesDarling · 06/02/2017 07:54

Seefeld, Essence lip liner have also been recommended on the previous thread. £1 in Wilko :). Impressed with the list too!

Koala- a sound investment! Update us once it's arrived. I only mentioned it being a matte as it can be a departure if you've only worn cream/satin finish previously. I reckon it's going to look gorgeous on you. I suffer with dry lips & never had an issue with CT either.

madmomma · 06/02/2017 09:00

Today it's nars never say never lip crayon over matching Barry m lipliner (I'd forgotten how good Barry m lipliners are). I am feeling very saucy in pink! I love the look of amazing grace so I may have to peruse the Charlotte Tilbury counter soon despite spending ban

madmomma · 06/02/2017 09:01

Hotch start with the nude-er ones and work up to the brights. Get the list up so we can nosey!
