I charity shop my unwanted make up, unless it's gone off, in which case it gets chucked. You could also donate it to a women's refuge. They take make up that's been gently used.

Bin is absolute last resort - it's such a waste. I try to find a good home for them and will offer them to friends or colleagues, unless it's a truly dreadful formula that I wouldn't inflict on anyone!

Can I ask everyone what they do with lipsticks which are new but don't suit them? It seems a bit wasteful to just bin.

I read reviews but couldn't sample easily bought 2 different Kate Moss for Rimmel Nudes but they don't suit me at all i should have read the negative reviews that's almost a whole MAC lipstick I've wasted my money on!

The glowy skin & wash of eyeshadow- perfect. I on the other hand get carried away with the eyeshadow.

When I wore it today, I went for glowy skin and very toned down eyes. Neutral light brown all over eyelid, light wash of pale pink shimmer, black mascara, no liner. All emphasis on patchy flaky lips

Yes sadly I'm agreeing Lotta. I'm going to persevere. On a positive note I love the colour. Can I ask, how do you do your eye make your eye make up with a bright lipstick?

I won't give up in it yet Bubbles but I'm seriously disappointed. I'm consoling myself that at least I paid for it with a voucher so wasn't my own cold hard cash. My Charlotte Tilbury lippies are loads better

Why do they discontinue without warning?

I was intrigued by the Topshop lipsticks. I think the one I swiped was ' mind in your manners'. Had a couple that looked really rich & buttery. I've only heard good things about Primark make up. Also heard H&M have/are doing stand alone makeup stores.

Aha Lotta! So your to blame for my YSL purchase? 😉. I tried it last night. admittedly this was after a day of trying loads on & after the Clinique. It didn't apply well or look good. Tried again earlier, patted it on with my finger. It's sitting pretty. But feels dry.

I am wearing this for the first time as we speak and am sorry to say I'm really disappointed. The colour has kind of separated and looks weird now, makes my lips look dry and flaky. NOT what I expect for 27 fecking quid!

Primark Lip Crayons are great. Jaw dropping quality for £2. Lip liners are great too

I had a Topshop coral lipstick a couple of years ago. I wasn't impressed and binned it. The rest of the makeup is meant to be great though

Bubble the new Top Shop lippies I've not tried yet. I'm still cross with them for discontinuing their lipstick/glosses, had one in an amazing red, everyone loved the colour. Why discontinue it?!

Bubbles I know what you mean about Sexy Sienna, I bought it as blonde but my hair is now dark, I just saw it and tried it and bought straight off.

Haven't bought any NARS lipsticks for ages, last one was Funny Face. But love their Lip Crayons. Got one free as a birthday gift from Space NK NDulge, tried it and not impressed, tried the other day and what was I thinking?! I'm in love!

Also Primark Lip Crayons are a great pick me up. did buy a NYX lipstick the other day got to find and see if i like it.

Thanks Lotta. I blame a face peel I did on Sunday. Skin is better today :). I absolutely love the Rose Pop. I only slapped in on last night. Even my dp commented. ( unusual as he's used to my Nude/pink obsession). I might up load a picture when I wear it properly 😉. Give a full review.

In other lipstick related news I did buy 2 HourGlass Stylo's. Seeker & Iconic. Pink & Red. I wanted Leeder too but I was trying to be good . Oh & YSL in 52. Two of the three are more daring, so that is my excuse!

I have 2 H&M lipsticks and they are lovely. Sorry! Their liquid eyeliner is great too

My local H&M have loads of makeup reduced to just £3 a pop, I didn't buy any lipsticks, I put them in my basket and kept taking them out again, I wanted them but I've got so many. I bought a cream blusher and some face masks but that was it! I feel happy and sad about it!

FrustratedFrugal, I am so disappointed with my YSL. It bleeds (despite careful lip lining), the colour turns harsh, it accentuates flaky lips despite not being a matte. My 8 quid Maybelline lipstick is loads better. Maybe your dream #1 performs loads better but I will not be troubling YSL again I think. Avoid! I will never buy another pricey lipstick again without wearing it for a few hours

Yup, Buster! I ordered some lipsticks off eBay from a seller I buy quite a few things from and got two free ones! I have one of them already, so I can use it as a present for someone. I was really surprised.

Sam is my inspiration Lotta! Again similar colouring. Was planning to wear it today but skin has decided to have a break out. So playing safe with Dior Rose Montaigne.

Bubbles, Sam Chapman from Pixiwoo has been modelling Rose Pop on Instagram in the last few days. It looks exquisite and I'm very tempted! I have very similar colouring to her and i hear that Clinique mattes are very comfortable
