Well, I had to didn't I? Today I'm wearing W7 Viva La Berry in Berry Nice, which is a pinkish toned berry shade.

I'm off work ill again, but yesterday before I started to feel terrible I went shopping and scored the Barry M Gelly lip crayons collection at half price in Superdrug, so I bought the entire lot. I've just tried on Vega but wasn't impressed by the tip snapping off as soon as I applied any pressure to it and making a right mess. It's very pretty on and nice and shiny but you have to sharpen the crayons, which I hate.

Yesterday I wore Revlon Wine with everything creme, Saturday was Esscence Wow Effect matte lipstick followed by L'Oreal Plum gold, Friday it was Esscence Red-y Or Not matte lipstick followed by Barry M Neptune lipstick, which is supposed to be colour changing (blue to purple) but it stayed blue on my top lip so I ended up with a cool ombre effect.

Lottapianos YSL Rouge Pur Couture #1 is my dream lipstick! I read somewhere that that is what Huma Abedin wears What does yours smell/taste like?

Today wearing a very dark morello cherry, Yves Rocher Violet Profond. It's way too profond on me and tends to wear unevenly but blotting with a tissue leaves a wonderfully rich purple stain 🍇🍒

Frugal, I swatched #1 on my hand yesterday and it is so beautiful - a lovely blue red. I'm sorely tempted TWENTY SEVEN QUID though! It was a bit of a big gulp moment at the till

I don't think mine smells of anything at all. There's no distinct smell anyway like there is with MAC for example

Ooh, I am so Lottapianos and even more into them if they are smell and taste free...

I'm usually committed to budget lipsticks but perhaps I could have #1 if I use up a couple of old lipsticks...

I really enjoyed wearing Rebel Pop. I feel more daring in my choices. so I brought Clinique Rose Pop yesterday. I wore By Terry Guilty Nude Saturday. Its a coral & more. I will be buying another once this one is done.

Bubbles ha ha...I went back yesterday and bought the Luminys face powder, it's swirly like Hourglass blusher but it's a normal powder, I don't usually wear powder but after my makeover everyone thought my skin was flawless and a friend said I looked ten years younger so I had to have it! 😂 It was on bogof so I got a free foundation! I also bought the chunky pencil concealer as my Diorflash ran out yesterday morning, and I bought a huge baby pink lipgloss too. Oops! I also bought from Rimmel a clear eyebrow gel and a eye pencil also on offer. The lady at Pupa gave me 2 free lip liners as I'm her VIP customer!

Look at the powder!

Buster, you know it's a good sign when you get free stuff! All the pretties. The powder looks great. I might be hitting up Space NK today, just to browse you understand....

Bubbles, Sam Chapman from Pixiwoo has been modelling Rose Pop on Instagram in the last few days. It looks exquisite and I'm very tempted! I have very similar colouring to her and i hear that Clinique mattes are very comfortable

Sam is my inspiration Lotta! Again similar colouring. Was planning to wear it today but skin has decided to have a break out. So playing safe with Dior Rose Montaigne.

Yup, Buster! I ordered some lipsticks off eBay from a seller I buy quite a few things from and got two free ones! I have one of them already, so I can use it as a present for someone. I was really surprised.

FrustratedFrugal, I am so disappointed with my YSL. It bleeds (despite careful lip lining), the colour turns harsh, it accentuates flaky lips despite not being a matte. My 8 quid Maybelline lipstick is loads better. Maybe your dream #1 performs loads better but I will not be troubling YSL again I think. Avoid! I will never buy another pricey lipstick again without wearing it for a few hours

My local H&M have loads of makeup reduced to just £3 a pop, I didn't buy any lipsticks, I put them in my basket and kept taking them out again, I wanted them but I've got so many. I bought a cream blusher and some face masks but that was it! I feel happy and sad about it!

I have 2 H&M lipsticks and they are lovely. Sorry! Their liquid eyeliner is great too

Thanks Lotta. I blame a face peel I did on Sunday. Skin is better today :). I absolutely love the Rose Pop. I only slapped in on last night. Even my dp commented. ( unusual as he's used to my Nude/pink obsession). I might up load a picture when I wear it properly 😉. Give a full review.

In other lipstick related news I did buy 2 HourGlass Stylo's. Seeker & Iconic. Pink & Red. I wanted Leeder too but I was trying to be good . Oh & YSL in 52. Two of the three are more daring, so that is my excuse!

Bubbles I know what you mean about Sexy Sienna, I bought it as blonde but my hair is now dark, I just saw it and tried it and bought straight off.

Haven't bought any NARS lipsticks for ages, last one was Funny Face. But love their Lip Crayons. Got one free as a birthday gift from Space NK NDulge, tried it and not impressed, tried the other day and what was I thinking?! I'm in love!

Also Primark Lip Crayons are a great pick me up. did buy a NYX lipstick the other day got to find and see if i like it.

Bubble the new Top Shop lippies I've not tried yet. I'm still cross with them for discontinuing their lipstick/glosses, had one in an amazing red, everyone loved the colour. Why discontinue it?!

I am wearing this for the first time as we speak and am sorry to say I'm really disappointed. The colour has kind of separated and looks weird now, makes my lips look dry and flaky. NOT what I expect for 27 fecking quid!

Primark Lip Crayons are great. Jaw dropping quality for £2. Lip liners are great too

I had a Topshop coral lipstick a couple of years ago. I wasn't impressed and binned it. The rest of the makeup is meant to be great though

Why do they discontinue without warning?

I was intrigued by the Topshop lipsticks. I think the one I swiped was ' mind in your manners'. Had a couple that looked really rich & buttery. I've only heard good things about Primark make up. Also heard H&M have/are doing stand alone makeup stores.

Aha Lotta! So your to blame for my YSL purchase? 😉. I tried it last night. admittedly this was after a day of trying loads on & after the Clinique. It didn't apply well or look good. Tried again earlier, patted it on with my finger. It's sitting pretty. But feels dry.

I won't give up in it yet Bubbles but I'm seriously disappointed. I'm consoling myself that at least I paid for it with a voucher so wasn't my own cold hard cash. My Charlotte Tilbury lippies are loads better

Yes sadly I'm agreeing Lotta. I'm going to persevere. On a positive note I love the colour. Can I ask, how do you do your eye make your eye make up with a bright lipstick?
