Well, I had to didn't I? Today I'm wearing W7 Viva La Berry in Berry Nice, which is a pinkish toned berry shade.

All the pretties! 😍 Yes, when I feel better Operation Make Up Rescue is go!!!! (That'll be all my eyeliners and lipliners, lipstick back ups, big eyeshadow pallets, nail polish and my Frontcover lipstick and eyeshadow sets, anyone remember them? I loved their stuff and then they disappeared into the ether. ) Thank you wonderful people for posting pictures, they are gorgeous! (That Christian Louboutin lipstick! That is awesomesauce! And I feel posh when I buy MAC. )

At the moment all I'm wearing is copious amounts of Sierra Bees tamunu and tea tree oil lip balm. My lips get soooo dry and sore when I'm ill, and I'm hoping the tea tree oil in it will stave off cold sores. (I wish this cold would fuck off now, it's getting on my nerves... ) And I don't want to wear lippy in case I get germs on it. I'm feeling very sorry for myself, normal service will resume soon!

Lotta, it might be my lips more then lipstick per se. I have a love/hate with mattes. Since this thread, it's made me want to persevere with them more.

I went to see La La Land tonight. I spent majority of it, wondering what lipstick Emma Stone was wearing? Revlon? I'm off to google.

Today I am wearing Rimmel Kate 32 which is like a coral/orange/nude mash up -nightmare to match lipliner so have gone all 90's with a darker liner

Yesterday midday I swapped to Mac pink nouveau because it was a miserable day and I fancied something brighter!
Today I am trying an essence lipstick that was recommended to me it's essence long lasting lipstick in 05 cool nude! It's nice just the kind of thing I wanted for days when I am just doing the school run and cleaning!

Buster, I did find out she wore Nars Audacious Lipstick In Liv. To the London Premiere. Berry colour. Then A went to sleep 😂

Eat Cake is way more dense in colour then the name gives it credit for. Well it is on me. As it's a gel formula. Really comfortable. I wear it with a lip cheat lip liner in pillow talk.

Bubbles I remember when the Dior Addict lipsticks came out and I was desperate for Kate Moss' colour in the advert, I would've moved mountains to find out, which I did thanks to The Daily Mail! 😂

Today (and night) was nyx lip lingerie in teddy. Very 90's brown but liked it.

sapphire I remember front cover. I still have a palette in my car for emergency touch ups. Hologram effect front which freaks out DS! Lip glosses on second layer are rubbish but eye shadows last really well but I'm now a bit concerned. How old will it be?!?

I can't remember Bubbles! Miss Dior maybe! I ended up buying It Pink anyway! The store I went to didn't have it!

All this NYX talk reminds me - I love their lip liners. Loads of colours, easy to apply (not dry or dragging on the lips) and affordable. I've tried a couple of DSis' NYX lipsticks and glosses and love them. Still trying to keep the no spend going though. I think I've miraculously found what I like best colour wise and rarely deviate though, so buying more would be silly. Even though I would love a new Tom Ford blusher when I've hardly made a dent in my current one

MrsA it doesn't matter how little or much makeup you own there's always room for more! I've just found my perfect red lipstick. It really suits my dark hair and fair freckled skin tone. Marc Jacobs Goddess.

I'm going to Mac tomorrow to pick up a bottle of the foundation I use but tempted to also pick up soar lip liner and either blankety or velvet teddy lipstick has anyone got any opinions on these???

My go tos are Mac See Sheer (always brightens my face even if I wear nothing else. Bloody love it!) Mac Cosmo and Mac Party Line. I don't have many more lippies than those tbh apart from a Dior that is so nude I can't tell it is on. Waste of time really!

I found a Bare Minerals Vivid Rose in TKMaxx recently and have been wearing it for a few days. It really works with my cool-toned colouring, but that is the only one I have bought this year.

What I would like to find is a dark raspberry lippie. A cool one with blues rather than warm browns IYSWIM. Any recommendations?

Haffiana Depending on your skin tone, try MAC Rebel. It pulls slightly blue on me and I have tanned skin.

Bluue I prefer Velvet Teddy, but that's because I would look like a corpse with Blankety

MrsA I was going to suggest Rebel too but was concerned it was a bit too pinky purple!?!?

It does look much less purple on me. I do totally line my lips all over with MAC Beet lip liner though so that might make a difference?

I would also agree that Mac Rebel is a good suggestion however Lime Crime Beet it is a good rasped tone too

LOTD is a Burts Bees lip crayon in Redwood Forest - it's nice, very moisturizing, though both sheerer and warmer red than I remembered so it doesn't quite go with what I'm wearing. Still like very much, though have the usual fear with crayons that the lid is going to come off in my bag....

Yesterday was Charlotte Tilbury Bond Girl, which is a matte warm plum/berry. Looked slightly drab/brownish but I think it was because I was wearing all black (on the outside because black is how I feel on the inside), I'm going to try it again with different clothes. Texture lovely as usual for CT mattes.

One of the By Terry Rouge Expert click stick things (though I can't remember what the shade is called) is a really good deep raspberry, and the texture is lovely. Bonus: does not have the "I have eaten a bath cube" strong rose smell of their other lipsticks.

Lotd- Bobbi Brown Tutu. I slapped this on earlier. Ease of application. Instantly felt more pulled together.

Still rocking my Maybelline Raspberry Rhapsody!
