Ooooh WAF what wonderful news. And glad about doc. With Hatty on early morning rave!

And MI, what good news on interview!

motherinferior · 01/02/2017 16:31

Oh good, recruitment bloke interested in my cv for the other job. I am potentially employable after all:)

Lalsy · 01/02/2017 16:35

What sort of thing is it, MI?

motherinferior · 01/02/2017 16:41

One is writing up a 'toolkit' and the other is being in charge of case studies for a social care charity.

Lalsy · 01/02/2017 17:13

Excellent!

IDismyname · 01/02/2017 17:23

WAF - this rave - I NEED to know. My only exercise is dance - I dance my socks off 3 x a week. Love it.

In S&B news, Ive just received my "This Works" skin solutions catalogue. You get free delivery and 20% off with the code CFB20. You heard it here first.

I am personally awash with their 'Sleep+' system thanks to DM who ordered a small trunk of it when DF was in his last weeks, but some of their other stuff has won beauty awards.

This afternoon I have spent shouting down the phone to Eastpak who have failed miserably to deliver two (2ii) suitcases to me TWICE (x2 or x ii). Those of you on FB will have seen my rant. I tried very hard not to take it out on the poor girl in customer services.

Grrrrrr.

Sadbe sorry to miss you Rudy but hopefully catch up in March. Meanwhile, I hope you get family stuff sorted and continuing strength and love for all that is DS related xx

Fingers crossed for interviews MI.

wordassociationfootball · 01/02/2017 17:49

it's this Cloud:

morninggloryville.com/

Great news on Work Things Looking Better, MI.

My thing is still at the 'without this mini leg up coming off, I'm not sure I've got wherewithal stage.' So I've just emailed to say how for shiz interested I am in. And could I come and watch someone else doing it. (not 'doing it,' obvs)

Off out now. Crazy early meeting tomorrow followed by endoscopy. Rave on.

wordassociationfootball · 01/02/2017 17:50

Crem - waft, and keep wafting.

CointreauVersial · 01/02/2017 18:31

Cloud - I've just been leafing through that very catalogue. Bit £££, isn't it?

Great news on work opportunities, WAF and MI.

Early morning rave - whatever next? It's true I do do a lot of raving in the mornings, but it's more the shouting at the DCs and jumping up and down sort of raving. Raving mad because we're late for school/work again. I agree dance is an excellent and fun form of exercise, and I wish there were more classes around. I do have my weekly Zumba (at 7pm this evening) but that's all.

Reasons to be cheerful:

Super-productive day at work.
Clean house! (Thank you cleaners)
DS passed his Driving Theory test this morning. Phew.

bigTillyMint · 01/02/2017 18:53

That's a shame, Rudy.
How is your DS doing - did you get any results yet?

Well done to master CV, and MI and WAF with possible/actual jobs.

Hatty, strength and Wine!

MrsWobble3 · 01/02/2017 18:55

On train into town to go to theatre feeling vaguely guilty for failures in my cat nursing duties. Expensive trip to vet confirmed that diabetes not yet stabilised so need to up the dose and return for another (expensive) check up. The dds have been calling and texting all afternoon for updates so my working from home has been rather more 'working from home' than actually working and tomorrow is now looking rather too busy as a result. Still, looking forward to the theatre - hope you managed to find good homes for your Amadeus tickets Auriga, it was a good production.

IDismyname · 01/02/2017 19:34

CV - yes, bit ££ but their Sleep+ stuff is vair good. I know a lot of us struggle to sleep.

And not too pricey if you stick to the smaller bottles.

Its seriously pongy - in a good way - so it lasts for ages.

Feeling better having discovered the email of the CEO to Eastpak - he's getting a lovely long (not too ranty) email from me.

Right. Time for a Gin

Cremolafoam · 01/02/2017 19:38

Waf congrats ! that's wonderful. I am quite sure you are brilliant at both X and Y.
MI also good news on the work front, brilliant!

Rudy, Beachy and BTM continued love ❤️ from me to you all in respect of the health of your precious boys.

Am liking the vibe of Gloryville. Tis very appropriate in current climes.

Today, dhs not significant Birthday we have been shopping and doing hard bargaining in the souk. Also looking forward to a delicious dinner now. Will report backGrin

Stropperella · 01/02/2017 22:17

Thanks for all your lovely birthday wishes! Rose, you wouldn't have seen any B-day stuff on FB because I deliberately don't share that info on FB. Not my thing, for various reasons.

Cloud, interesting that you found that sleep stuff helpful. I ordered a trial thingy of it in a desperate moment a couple of years ago and found it did diddly squat. Passed it on to dd, whose experience was the same. Snake oil, I reckon Grin

Strange how I can't sleep at night, but as soon as you put me in a lecture on statistics and psychometric testing, I am inclined to nod off straightaway. Smile

Fingers crossed for all with interesting work developments in the offing, and also for BTM that things continue to go well.

I'm in a B&B in Bath, girding my loins for whatever nuttiness my come my way over the next few days/weeks/months. There is a difficult convo to be had tomorrow morning with dd about my ground rules for her moving back in. I already sent several lengthy messages on the subject over the last 2 weeks, but she has ignored them. Wish me fortitude!

Stropperella · 01/02/2017 23:20

Ooh, happy birthday to your dh, Crem! Smile

CointreauVersial · 01/02/2017 23:41

So, Strops, is that it for uni? Has she effectively dropped out? Dare I ask - is there a Plan B? Definitely get those ground rules set in stone if she's coming home.

Zumba was great, and I'm very achey - the more you do it, the better you get at staying in step, so the more you actually work out!

DS revealed he has split with GF - they are now Just Good Friends. I'm not surprised, as I never saw much of a spark. At least this one doesn't have a Psycho Mother who's going to hound me about "closure".

IDismyname · 01/02/2017 23:45

Yes liking the MorningGloryville stuff.
Dfriend and I tried Clubbercise as a change of scene, but I struggled with seeing the moves through a vast gym full of people clutching glo sticks and flashing lights.

Gawd. I sound old.

However dancing to loud music is the best.

Cremolafoam · 01/02/2017 23:46

Strength to you Stropps. I do not envy you having to set ground rules for dd. I'd probably go a bit overboard with them so I'd have somewhere tolerable to trade down to. I hope dd will be out looking for a job soon, and doesn't plan to loll around home.Hmm

Gorgeous, ruinously pricey meal of many courses, which we oohed and aaahed over. Beautiful setting in a big courtyard with date palms and open fires and soothing North African music. Back getting warmed up. A very clear night here means it's bloody near freezing. Brr.

addle · 02/02/2017 00:08

In stark contrast to crem's glamorous update am on bus back from pub where I've been since 4.30 owing to
Possibly excessively intense awayday. The fact I can still text tells me all is not lost but I'm not looking forward to 8am yoga or indeed work.

CointreauVersial · 02/02/2017 00:12

Good for you, Addle! Hope you sleep well.

Crem - that meal sounds just heavenly.

I really must go to bed, but I appear to have stiffened up, like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz. Not sure I can get off the sofa. Hmm

OP posts:
MontserratCaballe · 02/02/2017 06:32

Loving stories of your travels, Crem.

Addle, pub since 4.30? Respect.

Stropps, sending you love and strength for today. How is the cellulitis now? Take care Flowers

Feeling full of cold and very headachey. Only going in as no one to cover. Feeling fed up but hope will perk up once I am in. Will be a loooong day otherwise....

Right, bath. Have a good day everyone.

addle · 02/02/2017 06:33

Morning, CV, thank you but inevitably creepy sleep and drink don't mix. Hope you made it off the sofa.

Crem, how much longer have you got?

Stropps, I hope it goes ok today.

IDismyname · 02/02/2017 07:11

Stropps Sending you a huge dollop of inner (and outer) strength for today.
