Oooh hurrah, BTM.

Oh yes - I was joking [wistfully] re two layers of cords. I usually wear proper thermals underneath, sometimes several, which take the edge off.

Lalsy · 26/01/2017 16:18

Thank you, Rudy! Grin Link?

motherinferior · 26/01/2017 16:19

That would add further complications to any
ATY-style shenanigans...

Lalsy · 26/01/2017 16:22

That is so not happening Grin.

Collymollypuff · 26/01/2017 16:31

Grin at ATY-style shenanigans.

Cloud, I may be able to pop along for cocktails on 25 Feb - then I could introduce you to fellow Crepeys before they get rolling drunk . They are all delightful, and welcoming.

We have a Dog and Cat Miele which seems efficient. However, tis only MrMolly who wields it. Grin

Very nice!

MrsWobble3 · 26/01/2017 17:32

Not sure I like the sleeves on that Rudy although they do usefully rule out being able to help with the washing up which I always consider a positive feature in any clothing.

I, on the other hand like the sleeves but see similar problems to Mrs W. Unsure about lacy trim though.

Collymollypuff · 26/01/2017 17:46

Oh, I love the sleeves and the whole thing. You'll look amazing in it, Rudy.

BLOODY HELL. Just got a ticket on the car for not having a residents parking permit. But I had, it must have expired. The system has gone all modern and online, and so there is no paper permit to remind me of its expiry. Until last year they sent out reminders, but I didn't get anything this year. Bastards.

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 18:14

Argh, I feel your pain, Herbs. That kind of thing is sooooo blasted annoying.

My PP tutor turned out to be v nice and efficiently helpful. The relationship may be complicated by some extra pressures, which I will not go into here , but overall I am hopeful it will be a positive one.

Came home ready to relax for the first time since Christmas, only to be hit with a load of unreasonable and hysterical demands from dd. Yes, she's poorly, but actually she can almost touch the university med centre if she leans far enough out of her window. She is also being a massive twatsicle about her finances. And struggles wirh the reality that only she can action certain things now that she is legally an adult.

Stayed at dm's last night, as it's only 1 hr 15 mins from Bath, whereas I'd need a further 40 mins to get home. Was trying to get out the door early this morning to get to an appointment at the village school, when dm forced me to listen to a "very important message" from her pet wine merchant trying to flog her wine in his "January sale". I've not worked in the wine trade since 1990 (prefer freelance home study in wine these days Grin ) but dm still considers me an expert.

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 18:16

Ps: have now decided that my aim in life is to have my own pet wine merchant when I am 86. GrinGrin

wordassociationfootball · 26/01/2017 18:25

Sounds horrible Rudy. I haven't had it badly in myback but it feels like painful pressure at the bottom of my ribs sometimes. The burning in my throat is the worst thing for me. But it's not too bad at the moment.

Lalsy · 26/01/2017 18:35

Ouch!

Stropps, that's great about the meeting. I suspect the lopsided approach to adulthood is not uncommon in general - it is often too much all at once even without health and financial complications. dd seems about old enough to me now to go to uni - she won't be 21 till the summer, when she will have finished her degree (fingers crossed!). Hope you can get some rest.

JustmeandtheChickens · 26/01/2017 18:36

A year ago today we had to have our darling dog pts - the 1st anniversary has hit me harder than I expected.

Today has been shit.

I have a very large glass of red.

That is all.

Looking Good, Feeling Crepe.
Stropperella · 26/01/2017 18:57

{{{{JustMe}}}}
I know where you're coming from. My best old boy was pts 11 years ago, and I still mark the anniversary every year.

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 19:02

Ugh. Turns out if you leave an opened bottle of cave in the fridge for a week, it's really not drinkable.

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 19:02

Cave???? Wtf? Cava

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 19:35

Molls, I will think of you for a whole extra 24 hours. Grin

JustmeandtheChickens · 26/01/2017 19:37

Left over Cava - I didn't even know that was possible!!

Stropperella · 26/01/2017 19:41

Tis a sign of how much pressure I've been under Grin
