OOTD is my midi length M&S brown leather skirt, brown CK opaques, tan Clark's brogues, teal Uniqlo merino crew neck, teal Boden cashmere scarf, brick See by Chloe peacoat and beige cashmere beanie. Trusty black Modalu tote for all my work stuff (this is such a good workbag, excellent leather and looks really good after nearly 3 years of heavy use).

shop sympathies about toys r us, i've always hated that shop it's just so bright and noisy and overwhelming

no spending here right now, just in the process of changing address and everything with everyone who needs to know. It always gets me how many people there are to inform you've moved, i always get caught by surprise by it!

Last night I went out for a sneaky drink with DH.....spotted a woman looking utterly fab in a burgundy coat.....guess what I'm lusting after now? That and a pair of grey suede heeled ankle boots it never stops does it?

Thanks for your continued support . Feel like a right whinger, should've cut myself some slack before I started but hadn't banked on finding it hard, was worried before I started the course last year but that all went so well that maybe I just thought the hard part was behind me. Last night talked it all through with dh just to organise my thoughts and concluded that I need to not over-think it and take what I can from the experience to decide which path to follow afterwards. Marsha would love to talk through with you over a drink one night to get your perspective too. Today was much better than yesterday though plus they interviewed more potential interns and rejectected them so I must be doing something right!

Opinions on this jacket for me please? Think a black leather jacket is a 'must have' ? And it's not too biker.

this full price one they are v similar but I prefer the seams on the back of the sale one, looks more fitted.

Really like that jacket shape for you for you dry but I am wondering if you'll get the wear out of it in black? Burgundy, teal or brown might be more versatile especially for daytime wear.

I agree with lib, I think black leather can look very harsh and I think black suede or lighter coloured leather is more flattering on most people.

I finally bought another thing in the sales but it is a dress I have been listing after for ages but I didn't want to pay fp for. Will try and link in a minute.

true, I've always thought black might be a bit harsh for me . I have a stone biker which goes with everything and I love and wear loads, maybe I'll stick with that. Thanks .

Nice dress linus though it does look quite loose so hope it isn't too big for you. Like that jacket too. It's a lovely colour.
