Nice shop. We went to west bay (broadchurch land if anyone you watched that) a few years ago and had great time exploring the area. It's really beautiful.

queencerulean · 24/02/2017 17:51

I'm so ready for a drink tonight. Friends are coming over and I can't wait!
everyone to be fair I've never had a bum bag either but it's going to be the easiest way to carry a phone around for where we're going.

The brogues are staying. I love them with ankle length jeans and also my black and navy trousers for work. Now I just need it to warm up a teensy bit and I can finally ditch the black cords and boots!

lib Mother's Day present? I'm hoping that as the mu is the day before Mother's Day that dh may give me some spending money Grin

Drywhitethanks · 24/02/2017 21:24

Lovely day spent at the blustery seaside today...I wore my new alpaca hat and scarf that DH bought me for valentines.....VERY risky you know his track record with clothes for me! but really nice.

Other then that no fashion news to report.

Drywhitethanks · 24/02/2017 21:31

QueenC these are so cute and very you".....I love them

shopafrolic · 24/02/2017 23:58

Do any of you use Deena Rollers? I just bought one to try. Probably shouldn't have had the first go when I'm a bit pissed. I've drawn blood Grin

libertydoddle · 25/02/2017 08:03

Morning Voguettes

Had a lovely mini MU last night with Marsha & Mara , both looking fab as always. I'm feeling the after-effects this morning, lying in bed thinking I probably won't make yoga (gin fumes Blush )

We haven't really mentioned LFW, anyone seen anything they liked? Had a quick look on the Guardian fashion bit & their wearable trends include polonecks (yay, easy), florals, & socks with sandals. I'm quite liking the layered slip dress look, & may try socks too as am permanently cold.

Longislandicetee · 25/02/2017 08:38

Morning! Nope never even heard of it Shop! Though by the looks of it doesn't sound like the greatest idea after drinksGrin

I haven't been around as it's been busy few days for me so i am going to jump straight back in with links....

I have just had a Saturday morning splurge and finally got the dress that i have been thinking about for a couple of weeks. It's this Alexander McQueen knitted dress.

I also got this Karen Millen knitted dress which i talked about a few weeks ago but they didn't have a size 6 when I think Blair linked it first?

I like the idea of wearing this Karen Millen knitted top with my leather jeans, which admittedly i don't wear often enough.

I am sure i will end up sending back this Whistles Breton top cos i own so many of them. I entirely blame Shop for thisWink

Finally, i fell in love with Jour d'hermes perfume a few months ago and have been using the mini purse bottles so decided to just get a proper big bottle.

By the way who linked that bum bag? So wrong. Just so wrong!Grin

Stokey · 25/02/2017 08:43

On the florals front, I like this Finery dress. I may try though would have to be 6, seem to remember they come up big though.

Also has anyone seen the Bella Freud/Fred Perry collab? Good way to get an affordable BF jumper

Stokey · 25/02/2017 08:48

Lovely that AMcQ Blingy, can totally picture you in it

Longislandicetee · 25/02/2017 08:51

Morning Stokey! Glad you ladies had a great nightEnvy

I can't click on the second link. The first one, wouldn't that be too long for you? I always find the problems with florals is that if you they're too long for me or not fitted, then i end up looking dowdy/frumpy in them, that's why i tend to avoid them like the plague. That's why I like the potential of the McQueen dress - floral but fitted. As we are similar shapes, wouldn't you have the same problem?

FedupNagging · 25/02/2017 09:07

Shop - it's got needles Shock. How does your skin look today?

Pleased you all had a good evening Stokey - I note that Mara and Marsha are so far absent this morning.......

Fab purchases Blingy and I can totally see you in both the knitted dresses. Are you back in the office yet?

Stokey Finery clothes seem designed for tall people so you would need to do some major hemming - the dress is very lovely though.

FedupNagging · 25/02/2017 09:15

I'm hoping my Asos order arrives today; I ordered this
Oversized breton
and Biker skirt.

MarshaBrady · 25/02/2017 09:22

Morning. Had an ace night out with Stokey and Mara. great venue and lots of g&ts. Loved the general vibe and the both looked fabulous.

Great to hear about everyone's holidays. I'm really looking forward to ours at Easter and may be going on two at summer - due to already booking two weeks off at the beginning of the holidays and a wedding in Tuscany at the end - eep!

Ok need to catch up

MarshaBrady · 25/02/2017 09:23

argh

everyones

What was I thinking!? Too fuzzy

shopafrolic · 25/02/2017 09:53

Not a Pin prick in sight Fedup and quite glowy - which is miraculous given how much I drank last night!

Shop that looks like medieval form of torture to me!

need to open links later........

maradesbois · 25/02/2017 12:50

Bloody hell Shop, that looks dangerous! Btw how are you liking the health club? Have you been taking ds swimming there at weekends?

Aargh copious amounts of gin and tiny food portions last night mean am not firing on all cylinders this morning. Great mini mu with Marsha and Stokey though, good chat and I liked that bar.

Dry ooh, they are the same shoes QueenC has in red or burgundy I think. The floral embroidery is lovely.

Stokey LFW passed me by this year, will take a look at pics. Have been wearing skinny polo necks all winter under dresses though, have a really thin marant off white one that is too transparent to wear on its own but looks good under my uterque silk dress and makes it a bit more casual. Think you could do similar with the finery dress you linked. Never bought anything from there so not sure about lengths but like the dress and will take a look at the rest, think it could be my kind of thing. Like the styling of the asos link too. BF does sample sales btw, haven't been but would be interested to know prices, would like a jumper but not the cliché ones.

Fedup thought biker skirt was a typo but no, looks good, will be nice with a Breton and trainers.

Blingy great dresses, adore the McQueen for you.

Weekend has got off to a slow start, currently crashed on sofa with ds watching Cartoon Network but we are heading out later to a children's literary festival event at the LSE this afternoon, all about dinosaurs, should be fun.

maradesbois · 25/02/2017 12:52

Omfg it linked to cart0on network, a terrible channel which I in no way endorse!

shopafrolic · 25/02/2017 13:00

Mara we are loving the spa. I try and go once in the week just me, once with miniShop for after school swimming, and we go as a family altogether at weekends - so pleased we did it.
Hope the after effects of last night wear off soon and you have a fun afternoon.

libertydoddle · 25/02/2017 13:03

Am really p'd off that I wasn't able to make the mini MU last night - sounds like it was really good. That said given that I have to both work and study this weekend it's probably just as well I don't have a hangover.

Does Feb being a 28 day month throw anyone else, I keep feeling aghast over and over again that I have less time than I innately assume for several deadlines.

Grin at Mara's horror at inadvertently promoting that channel!

shopafrolic · 25/02/2017 13:33

Stokey LFW passed me by too this year which is strange as my hairdresser usually does some shows so I keep an eye out. I haven't seen anything on social media really either. Strange.....

Everyonelovessparkles · 25/02/2017 14:00

Glad you bought the AMcQ dress blingy. Hope you like it when it arrives. You can never have too many Bretons Grin I'm sure I had an email about 20% off at whistles recently, did you get it with the discount? There's also 20% off at lk Bennett at the moment if anyone is interested.

Mini MU sounds like it was good. Hope you're all feeling a bit better now. Brew

The patten of the finery dress is pretty but it does seem an odd length. On me it would just look frumpy.

They were good bargains fedup hope you like them when they arrive.

Health club sign up sounds like it was a good idea shop. Nice that you can go as a family as well as then you can get your money's worth whilst still having family time.

I went swimming at the hotel on Monday and really enjoyed it, so am going to look how I can fit it in at least once a week. Especially with holiday season coming! I need to try and shift my mum tum!

Drywhitethanks · 25/02/2017 16:12

Mara your expletives made me snort Grin

Blingy great dresses and I love the top too.

Stokey I can see you in the tea dress, you'd make it funky. It's not too floral iykwim.

Fedup you buying that leather skirt is making me wonder whether I should have kept the Jigsaw olive coloured one, still lusting after an olive/khaki leather skirt totally impractical though I guess

Watching the rugby.......I really do love rugby players........and think Princess A is great with her tartan scarf on bless her.

Looking fwd to the March MU, who is coming?
