Will keep half an eye on some kind of platform brogue type shoe. You're right Mara nice to have an alternative to trainers.
QueenC saw these and thought of you

Morning all!
OOTD tan brogues, brown opaques, M&S brown midi leather skirt, cream APC sweater (another of the via Shop items Grin) silk scarf in various shades of olive, mustard, beige and orange. Seasalt coat to keep the wind at bay. Gold earrings, red lippy.

I'm actually enjoying my no spend. I'm appreciating what I have more and getting much clearer about actual wardrobe gaps.

Stokey · 23/02/2017 09:43

"Yes you can" Littlered Grin

Glad it wasn't only me at Little Mix, they could use a new stylist.

Drywhitethanks · 23/02/2017 16:22

Shop sensible, you know evening normally in bed online shopping is v dangerous for me too!!!!!

queencerulean · 23/02/2017 18:15

shop those are indeed lush!

The brogues have arrived and first impressions are that I really like them and hopefully they're keepers. I've only tried them on briefly so need to try properly tomorrow. The look very grey colour stops them looking too masculine and they suit me so much better than the pewter ones I tried a couple of years ago.

I'm not sure about mules and kitten heels. I remember wearing them to various weddings about 15 years ago. In fact I think my wedding shoes may have been kitten heels. I'm much more of a block heel girl nowadays.

queencerulean · 23/02/2017 18:17

I also got these sandals. They're like walking on sponges. Before anyone kicks me off the thread they will be essential for our forthcoming holiday. I'm even going to get a bum bag too. And I'm not even joking!!

FedupNagging · 23/02/2017 18:26

Queen I have those brogues in blue - I really like them.

I didn't watch The Brits last night but will go on catch up just to judge see Little Mix's outfits and to see the George Michael Tribute sniff

I have a couple of sale items in my basket from Asos but I'm dithering. A (real) leather skirt and a breton. I was going to order the silver superga's but now not sure as I think I'd like a pair of gazelles or another pair of stans but can't decide the colour! No idea why I am incapable of making a decision atm Hmm

FedupNagging · 23/02/2017 18:44

I can't open your shoe link Queen. And because I'm bored and trying not to open Wine, I had a look at some stylish bum bags -
Perfect colour for you
Chanel bum bag, who knew?
Not too keen on this bum bag though Grin

queencerulean · 23/02/2017 19:25

Wtf is that fedup Grin.

littleredlipstick · 23/02/2017 20:29

Shock that last bag

Warm clothes today not been out apart from to check on a fence post which looks like it will need replacing (thanks Doris!)

Off to Birmingham tomorrow to catch up with eldest on a uni day off. Will have a look around the shops for inspiration, would like a pair of leather style leggings.

Tonight I have pampered with face mask and manicure using a louboutin red nail varnish I had for Christmas a while ago the brush is rubbish for applying Angry

Sandals link not working QueenC

I have a filming date - less than 2 weeks away! Need to sort out some tops!

BerniceBobsHerHair · 24/02/2017 08:47

That's exciting Amber - you'll have to tell us when!

Lol at Shop's relief at not being able to open QueenC's sandal link Grin

I think the flatform brogues could work for you Shop - I associate them a lot with Trinny who I think I said a while back that her style reminds me of yours a bit.

Love all the grenson ones on the website Mara linked - bargainous too.

I quite like the look of these Seven Boot Lane ones which are quite subtle:
Black
Metallic

I like that Chanel bum bag, the other one, not so much Grin Confused

BerniceBobsHerHair · 24/02/2017 08:48

Ooh, garbled grammar in my post - apologies.

shopafrolic · 24/02/2017 09:43

Those Seven Boot Lane ones are good Bernice - shame the metallic isn't pewter. I think I need to head to the shops and try the style on first.
Problem is I fear I'll then need to buy a whole new outfit to go with them - but then I always have dressed from the shoes up haven't I? Grin
Good stuff Amber - I look forward to seeing the show.
Fedup that shouldn't be allowed on Vogue Shock

Ha ha shop, I'm tempted to try and link them again....Grin.

libertydoddle · 24/02/2017 11:35

I may have found a cardigan. Wondering if I can hold out to end of March. Have FOMO in case it sells out...

shopafrolic · 24/02/2017 12:46

What site Lib If it's The O then break the ban!

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 24/02/2017 13:34

No. Not the Outnet! I can probably hold out a week or two....

Everyonelovessparkles · 24/02/2017 13:39

Could your DH buy it lib and then you could transfer the money to him at the end of your ban?

kittyhello · 24/02/2017 14:53

Like your thinking Every Grin

I'm a bit like Fedup and am struggling to keep up the moment but have been tempted back by the bum bag that was linked Shock made me chuckle, love Shop's "outrage" at it Wink

Love the brogues Queen can really see you in those.

Still no fashion news/updates for me, although I do have a question, is there a Whistles code due in a March edition of Grazia magazine? have seen a dress I like but if there's a pending code I'll hang on.

shopafrolic · 24/02/2017 14:56

Codes look to be March and October kitty

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 24/02/2017 15:12

everyone my DH would be completely baffled if I suggested that Smile and would tease me for about a year for having no willpower. I'm going to see if I can try it on in the next week or two and decide if it's worth breaking the ban for it.

DH is still in plaster cast and it's been a hectic week juggling work with school drop off and pick up. Totally messed up today and had to make last minute calls to get someone to collect DD as I had a meeting overrun. I've earned a large glass of wine for tonight.

Everyonelovessparkles · 24/02/2017 16:58

Smile lib. To be fair my DH would think I was bonkers too! Don't they understand that we don't want our principles to get in the way of a bargain / perfect buy!

Those bum bags were pretty Shock I never had a bum bag even in the 80s and wouldn't start now Grin

this arrived today. Am pleased with it. I got a UK 12 and was a bit worried it might be too big, but it'd perfect. Will be great for summer. (I paid £50 though, not sure how I've managed to link to the Aussie site) Confused

Did you get your holidays sorted shop? We're off to Cornwall at Easter then back to menorca in June.

Been a lovely sunny day here. Fingers crossed spring is on the way.

WineWineGinGin for everyone tonight!

shopafrolic · 24/02/2017 17:08
