I'm exhausted. I seem to have started everyday this week with a slight killer hangover.

Put the tree & decorations up today because i travel tomorrow & don't fancy doing them 3 days before Xmas.

I'm off to finish packing. I'm travelling like a packhorse. 3 suitcases & my clothes are squashed into hand luggage. DH keeps asking "don't they have shops over there?" I've got M&S advent calendars, untold beauty products, John Lewis coat hangers & Dartington crystal glasses to name just a few of the random items in my luggage. I feel like Mrs Claus.

Getting ready for party. Planned to wear sleeveless lbd with new carvella shoes , but it's so cold not sure I can face it . Perhsps with puffy down coat on top . Love getting ready for a night out, part of the fun for me.....better get on with it

I didn't see Amber, I was caught between the excitement of her actually being there, wearing matching swarovski matching stuff (I whole heartedly approve) and dd and I comparing scores!

Love that chemise, can't afford it though as DDs gave slaughtered my credit card thus weekend, with my permission, but I have ordered a pair of boots. Same as the black block heels I bought recently but in a deep wine colour. Will post a pic when they arrive.

Off to a Christmas market tomorrow. First time so I will try to keep spending to a minimum.

I'm in the airport lounge taking advantage of the free gin. My sister has warned me not to drink too much in case they don't let me on the plane in my mind every holiday has to begin with gin no matter what time of the day it is. I'm not the only one drinking but I've m the only one with my own packed breakfast from home. I can't eat airport food. I've also bought 2 bottles of water to rehydrate. You got to love BA. The check in man didn't even bat an eyelid at my multiple suitcases and even though they were slightly over, waved me through. Would never happen on easyJet.
Duty free purchases have been Longchamp pliage bags in purple and grey for friends daughters. Couldn't be bothered with anymore shopping. I saw a lovely DKNY Chanel copy type bag but wasn't wildly excited.

Stokey I seemed to spend all day on the computer on Friday too - a lot of hype this year, a lot of 20% off which seems to be quite standard for retailers nowadays anyway. The deals seem better for kids stuff, I got some Boden stuff for DD and I also like this website Tootsa Maginty - like the fact it is mainly unisex.

I did manage to buy a few things for me too though . Order a lot from Very exclusive but will just link what I keep. Also order this oasis top and this warehouse dress. Top is for nights out and dress will be useful workhorse if it suits / fits.

Kitty I liked the Primark shirt you linked ages ago, good find - I saw similar in black floral but it sold out pretty quickly.

Mara the camo Equipment blouse is lovely. Look forward to seeing the Goyard. I had a look on the outnet after you posted, got this Equipment shirt - want to get a silk one too at some point.

I also ordered some white Grenson boots - love them on En Brogue - but on me they felt quite orthapeadic! Generally I like white boots too - I can see you wearing the ones you linked Lara - they are quite 80s disco but in a good way.

I didn't do any Black Friday shopping, it all gets a bit samey and I lose interest.

But I did get this beautiful Proenza Schouler jumper with a big voucher (and not that expensive). It is so soft and warm I really love it. I'm a little in love withe Proenza Schouler in general atm, I love the name.

Well done on the no drinking at home lib. I'm sticking to my 3 alcohol free days a week but would like to increase that to 4. Though notsure if it means I will just drink the same across 3 rather than 4 days

Fun afternoon at the local Christmas light switch on. DS rode loads of fairground rides - so much braver this year. Starting to feel a bit festive......
I have a search if anyone is up for the challenge? Can anyone find me a better quality version of this herringbone jacket. Budget approx £200 (will be a Christmas present). I love this jacket and wear it loads but it is too big for me, the lining has ripped and the wool has pilled so I feel a little like a bag lady.... need a refresh.
