I do have Toga Pullas. Red ones - must dig out of the shoe closet.

justa not a massive fan of the viscose but I loved the print so much I couldn't not get it.

Wore the boots out last night with leather mini and a t-shirt saying Rockstar (we went for a karaoke date night). Really comfy!

Today I have acquired this - my assistant wore it to work this week and I totally ripped her off. Will have to have outfit planning text convos!

HappyGirlNow · 01/10/2016 17:42

Aw god I love that shirt amber!! Sad

Would it really count as a purchase if it's paid from my PayPal balance? Clutching at straws now...

Oh I need a Wine

happy I think lib had her eye on those heels but decided against it in the end. I've got the flats version and am pleased with them. Grin at you nearly cracking already and it's only day 1! Can you're DH order them on your behalf as you then technically haven't bought them Wink

amber date night outfit sounds great. I've got a black leather pencil skirt which I love and wear loads in winter and have my eye on this jigsaw one black leather knee length as it looks a good length.

HappyGirlNow · 01/10/2016 19:25

shopafrolic · 02/10/2016 08:53

Morning all. Skim reading and loving the few links I've clicked on. DF is now at a hospital in Cambridgeshire which is not ideal but the good news is he will be operated on tomorrow so at least things are moving forwards. DM and I are visiting this afternoon.
I wore my Pistols yesterday but with trainer socks and the leather under the zip folded back and the zip rubbed my ankle causing loads of blood and an emergency trip to Boots for plasters! We went to Milton keynes yesterday, no clothes shopping but bought a new sofa, lamp and rug for our playroom / dining room. :)

QueenCobalt · 02/10/2016 08:54

Morning. I'm lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself as I have a hangover and hideous period pain. Doing what I do best on a Sunday and going fantasy shopping....

Phew! Its taken me a while to catch up that will teach me to go awol for 2 weeks
Happy Sunday to All!
After Rome pretty full on with work (in transition to new role at work so effectively juggling two jobs) plus weekend to unplug at our place in north Norfolk coast plus getting DS2 dropped off for his second Uni year.
Planning on a lazy Sunday
Fab leopard links, I like a bit on shoes, but couldn't do full on look I think I'm too old now for it.
mara if I'd been paying attn I would have swooned over the Ghost dresses (it was you who linked?)
Happy your posts were funny (great links!)

Have bought and retuned/kept a few things over last 2 weeks but cannot link from mobile phone

SoyYo · 02/10/2016 13:04

But one of the best was funnily enough a new laptop bag from airport on way to Rome...long story decided to take handbag and laptop in my hand luggage but Vuelig insisted on despatching my hand luggage as it was 1/2 kg over limit AngryAngry which left me carrying laptop loose in my hand...anyway found a little Knomo laptop bag that looks really cute and was complimented on it by colleagues.
Sad to get excited over a laptop bag but it's really nice Smile

SoyYo · 02/10/2016 13:34

Forgot to add Fedup like the M&S and Geiger pointy flats! I need some stylish pointy flats but I can only wear E fitting shoes or wide cut std fit shoes, do they come up narrow?
Its a blessing in disguise of sorts having wider feet as all your lovely links cannot work for me...

SoyYo · 02/10/2016 13:42

Got complimented by German, UK and most flattering a Parisian colleague on outfit choices for Rome trip Nice to be flattered so must have got the casual smart dress code right.

Also desperately seeking a Hush discount code, lots there on my AW wish list!

On Burberry macs old boarding school BF has quite a hoard from there, all beautiful Envy helps her DH works there...but a very worthwhile investment. Even if I'm not one to spend even 20% of my bonus on clothes have DS uni costs plus keep investing in property I could be tempted too!

maradesbois · 02/10/2016 14:37

Hello,

Nice one on the compliments SoyYo, always gives a boost.

justa love you! WinkBlushFlowers

Btw am keeping green ghost dress in homage to Lea Seydoux. Tried it on for dsis who loved and think it will work with high strappy gold sandals.

QueenC thanks for my preen link, more gorgeous burgundy velvet, lovely. Hope you're have a relaxing and recuperative sofa day.

Happy how is cold turkey going? Grin

Shop ouch at pistols injury.

Dreamqueen · 02/10/2016 15:22

On the sofa here, thought I might have a belter of a hangover but I feel quite fresh.
Can't keep up with all the links!
Shop hope all goes well with DF at the hospital. Shame about the pistol injury. Touch wood my new pair are ok (so far)

This morning I've done my hol packing. Minmal went a bit out the window. Slightly worried that I seem to have more suncream/cosmetics/bathroom products than actual clothes!

I've packed 3 pairs of sandals & 1pair havianas. is that enough shoes?

critique my list please?
7 dresses
6 beach/day cover ups
5 bikinis
3 shorts
denim skirt
3 vest tops
2 tops
knickers & black/nude strapless bras

Have I forgotton anything please/

SoyYo · 02/10/2016 15:55

dream I might be tempted to swap one of the sandals for a pair of dressier heels or wedges, but maybe some of them are already suitable for evenings? On the rest seems good to me, I'm assuming you're going on a beach hol somewhere hot and pretty laid back, so looks like you've more than covered all fronts.
On cosmetics I also decant favourites into small plastic containers, like Blair Boots is okay for mini deodorant, toothpaste but wouldn't stock my favourite shampoo/conditioner/moisturisers in mini sizes so if you have time worth doing.
Makeup on hols I keep pretty minimal: Tinted spf moisturiser, concealer, eyeliner, mascara. Small B.Brown eye shadow palette for eves, bronzer powder. For lips I like Clinique chubby sticks or Burts Bees tinted lip balms, they fit in handbag and don't count towards your liquids allowance.
I would however buy a bigger bottle of body sunscreen and after sun at airport which you can just use up and chuck away before returning?

How exciting!

SoyYo · 02/10/2016 16:01

dream forgot to add if you're fair and expecting lots of hot sun a hat might be worth it, if it's tropical weather a mini umbrella for unexpected downpours. I find a cross body bag is good both for keeping hands free and sightseeing and pack a fabric bag for taking to beach/pool/spare shopping bag very useful.
Finally a mini evening bag can also be a good idea if you are planning on dressing up in the evenings.
