Right, here's something for a Monday morning and this and this

This is WEEK FOUR. The rules:

This is about feeling better about yourself...not necessarily a diet per se etc etc

The Rules:

  • Sunscreen at all times. I know it's winter, there are still rays trying to damage your skin
  • No or little booze. The odd glass of wine at the weekend is allowed if you want it
  • Walking is important, a small amount every day if possible. 30 mins if you can, I am booking out lunch hours where possible to do this
  • Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
  • Apply body cream as often as possible. I am doing my heels daily too as they're lizard like
  • Use hand cream
  • Go to bed early, by 10.30pm if pos
  • Eat healthily
  • Be happy

The idea is that at the end of six weeks we all feel happier, healthier and glow with the good food, sleep, exercise, water and lack of sun damage.

You don't have to report back every day but I almost certainly will as it motivates me thinking someone is watching me.

Welcome all members old and new.

Ate rice krispy cakes
lots of mini eggs
drank loads of wine
but had a lie in until 10.30 so prob had 11.5 hours sleep

Tomorrow is another day, will be very good all week. May walk for an hour today to make up for it. My skin is TERRIBLE again.

And dh woke me with a gorgeous bacon sandwich, homemade white bread, brown sauce and an enormous cup of coffee. But I haven't eaten anything else since.

Oh goodness, the week is almost over and I haven't been here once.

I haven't been being really bad, just haven't been being very good either. Did only drink Friday and Saturday nights though, and have to say I really really am not missing the thousands of empty calories I used to consume in white wine. I've also been doing yoga pretty much every night (and have found a great radio station to do it to - chill, channel 0174 on sky)

But next week is another week, and I will be back to trying to be perfect. Please feel free to yell at me if I slip.

Congrats FIT, and commisserations on another tossermctosstype boss www

I have been avoiding this thread

Terrible week. In a foul mood because of my AWFUL skin, therefore can't see the point in healthiness or looking after myself.

Irrefutable logic, non? But my confidence has crashed and burned this week, which is never good for motivation.

On the plus side, I've had just 2 units of alcohol this week. In fact, perhaps just 1.5 as one was a very small glass of wine that I didn't even finish So that's good, I guess

WWW, your boss sounds like a total arse. Kick him for me

CAMy, can I ask where the party was? Still owe dd party from last Nov - would it be any good for 11 year olds.

Bad food day - dad here to lunch with his very nice friend who is over from France, so I did roast etc. Only 2 roast potatoes and I stayed away from my meringues and choc cake from the deli.

Have decided to walk the dog every day for the next weeks in hope of toning up a bit before holiday, or at least be a bit less wobbly. Feet better, elbows etc much better. Can anyone recommend a great neck treatment? My neck is definitely showing its age, and some!
