Sweaty Betty sale is now on for anyone in need of gym gear. Including the leggings that DH bought me full price on Saturday - i think I'll keep that one quiet!

After consultations with DH I have ordered this dress in the dark green as my first one to try out. I was tempted by the brighter teal but I think the darker colour looks more formal and will work with my black Hobbs courts so saves on buying shoes. Still looking though so feel free to keep suggestions coming

Just back from my second PT session, I am going to hurt tomorrow. Loads of weights but I loved it!

Does he take the tube? If so that branch was closed this morning. It wasn't that bad, but where I take the kids to school we have to go through an underpass which was about 3ft under! Then there was gridlock because of the diversion.

I've just had a nightmare drive, had to turn around as wasn't getting anywhere then got stuck as the lights were haywire and the road flooded. Was lucky not to be hit by an idiot who drove into the flood too fast and lost control of his car and then several people started trying to skip the queue, jump the lights etc, resulting in total gridlock - fecking nightmare. Home now and the sheds are flooded so there's the weekend tasks sorted. Am opening

I have an old wicker clutch with a black patent leather band round it from LKB that is one of the most versatile bags I own.
Lib hope there is minimal damage. Wine sounds like a plan.

They flooded once before in a downpour Shop so after that we have most things on shelves or hanging up. My main worry is the tumble dryer which is on the floor. Also the big shed has matting on the floor as DH has a weights bench in there so that will all have to be sorted out - but nothing we can do tonight really.

Glad I voted early, really worried about what the weather might do to voter turnout in London.

Goodness, I didn't realise london and surrounds were having such bad weather. It's been warm and humid here but totally dry. Glad you're all safe.

So glad it's Friday tomorrow and almost the weekend. I feel like I'm drowning a bit-there is so much going on with plays, sports days, trips, dress up days, not to mention a zillion parties to ferry around to. It won't get better though till the end of term. 4 weeks and counting.

Our accommodation in Lake District is sorted, original hotel have booked us into an alternative place, and new hotel is gorgeous! Better then the first actually..

Was out with friends and dh, cut it short, jumped in an uber ran to polling station and voted with 5 minutes to go. Feel good!
