Have had a lovely afternoon being a test body for my friend's beauty salon for the staff to learn how to do the Jane Scrivner total body polish treatment. I met Jane Scrivner - very impressive woman, fab range of products.

I must be one of the few not to have a tippi - there are some fabulous colours but not in my size. With the best will in the world, I'm never going to get into xxxsmall which is all that is left in this gorgeous pink colourway.

Well I have to post again to sing the praises of J Crew customer service. I rang the number on the wee pop up message saying my code wasn't valid and they said the thank you/thank me combo expired yesterday. They then offered to honour it if I ordered today so happy girl here! Thanks for the kind help.

Morning all! I haven't done much sales spending. In fact my usual Selfridges spree didn't happen.

I went to a fantastic black tie event last night and wore a black and white Coast dress which i last wore 8 years ago! I also wore my beautiful new Aquazzura shoes. I am normally so matchy matchy that it wouldn't have occurred to me before to wear red shoes. So big thanks to the MNVers who got numerous pictures of me in dresses at 6.30am and didn't even comment that it was odd.

Blair I was thinking of you the other day as I wore my j crew Campbell trousers. They are US size 00 and are a good fit for me. I am 25" waist so looking at their size chart I ought to be a 0 (that's what 25" waist corresponds to) which sounds right but I wanted a snug fit. I do think they get their measurements right because I am an xxs in tops there which is 31.5" bust in their size chart and that's right. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much Blingy! I ordered the 6 as I am 28" waist, then read reviews saying that the cotton ones sometimes stretch. I'll just have to hope that they are either fine or that a 4 is still in stock if I need it. Your outfit last night sounds fab :)

Quick work on the bag happy!! It's lovely. Sandals look good. I can't do ankle straps at all and heels getting harder. I have weird feet. I wore heels for a meeting where I was standing and presenting for a couple of hours this week and got really bad cramp in my left foot. Luckily I had flats in my bag.

My Stans have arrived, the 4.5 are a perfect fit. lately my leather converse have been really hurting my toes so these will fill the white trainer gap in my wardrobe.

They are snug lib and I've only worn them to try them on for size but they're soft and think they'll be fine once they stretch a bit
