Blimey you snooze you lose on this thread!.

liberty - aw thank you for asking - baby peach all fine now and has had a happy day with naps and music - and spitting out mashed sweet potato in a comedic fashion. I must video it!.

Darn - 27th August is DP's work summer "do" - which is always brilliant and we've accepted already. Please take some pics and share so I can gaze wistfully at all your fantastic selves and outfits Grin.

Amber - almost green with envy over your interview outfit - sounds fantastic. I would either a) give you job on the back of your shoes alone b) daren't give you the job if I ever had to sit near you for fear of melting into a frumpy puddle!. Very good luck - hope they don't keep you waiting to hear for too long.

Hope everyone is ok - hope your DH is doing well stokey.

QueenC1 · 13/07/2016 21:19

They're cute marsha. I wore my ghillies today for the first time this year and had forgotten how much I love them.

Thanks for the French sole rec (or not). I think I'm going to try russell and bromley when I'm next in London. I can't make 27th. I fly back that day too and unlike amber I'm no way hardcore enough to meet you lot after!

betty warm wet weather is so hard for footwear. I wore boots the other week but am generally in either my keds or ballet flats.

amber love the sound of your outfit; always good to be ambivalent about things. marsha glad you're happier about work

bernice nice to see you back. We've just got a mini which we love but they're not cheap. I always liked my clios although after our last Megane I wouldn't do Renault again. What about a Kia or Yaris?

Sorry if I've missed anything else. A bit brain dead now! Having a large glass of rose and bed!

HappyGirlNow · 13/07/2016 21:49

queen you missed my question to you about gap sizing of the girlfriend jeans! Grin and I need to know by tomorrow for discount Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 13/07/2016 21:53

Bernice Honest John is a good website for car info and reviews. My sister has a hyundai i10 which we helped her buy, they are meant to be good, though it's a very small 5 door.

My new look nude sandals arrived. Revelation! My feet are officially wide. Well, they are at the front - sort of ducky. But the shoes are very comfy Grin Does anyone know any other brands which do wide shoes apart from asos/Clarks/M&S?

Longislandicetee · 13/07/2016 21:55

Evening! Much to celebrate.Smile Glad you have interview lined up Marsha and Amber your outfit sounded gorgeous. Good luck to you both.

I wore my Valentino love latches today. It's pure love.Grin

Many waves to everyone including Bernice and Flamingo.

Blair I meant to say our dress is lovely though it's a bit revealing on me!

shopafrolic · 13/07/2016 22:19

Doesn't sound like the 27th is going to work for enough of us. How about Sat 3rd Sept instead?

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 13/07/2016 22:37

Sat 3rd Sept would work for me.

libertydoddle · 13/07/2016 22:38

Marsha I love the DVF you have linked.

Drywhitethanks · 13/07/2016 23:19

I'm not orange Grin ...agree with Mara it's quite natural.

Bernice I stupidly entered myself into a 10k v soon thought I needed a challenge Hmm. I'm an idiot. I'm hoping adrenaline and the atmosphere gets me through it Smile....I hate bloody running.

Fedup have made a note of that title.

Boden lace top arrived this morning. Loved it so much I kept it in. V happy .

Amber your interview outfit sounds fab. Fingers crossed.

Hope I haven't missed anyone out. Am on phone while watching Amazon prime.

QueenC1 · 14/07/2016 07:00

Sorry happy...I'm an 8 and wear a 26.

Everyonelovessparkles · 14/07/2016 07:39

marsha I love that dress.

dry glad you're not orange Grin. Good luck with the 10k training. I did a couple many years ago, and did get into it, but I found it hard, I'm obviously not a natural. The lace top arrived fast! Glad it's a keeper.

A lovely sunny morning here today, what to wear?!

shopafrolic · 14/07/2016 07:48

Count me out shop. I'm meeting friends the week after and I'm not sure I can do 2 weekends in a row!

Dreamqueen · 14/07/2016 08:19

memo to self: stop drinking gin and online shopping at the same time.

Slightly hungover, will be a morning in pyjamas.

Nothing else to report.

peachlife · 14/07/2016 08:27

dream - love that Isolda number - really pretty. Hope head not too bad.

DP is away so if Mum can babysit the 3rd Sept might be possible for me too Grin.

God I'm truly crap at meeting lots of people I don't know. Also have navigational ability of a stuffed frog Hmm.

dry good luck with the 10k!. I joined a running club a few years back and did a couple. I hate running too.

Glorious sunny day here.

I confess I can't stay away from the Phase 8 sale....

AmberNectarine · 14/07/2016 08:38

Morning all!

OOTD is black fitted short sleeved dress, pink/orange/blue camo silk bandana I wore to last MU, orange patent slingback flats and TS bright pink blazer. Lots of colour! Bag is black metallic Stella McC Falabella.

Blair I love that dress - probably too girly for me (she says, wearing Barbie's blazer), but perfect for you.

peach as much as I'd like to pretend I'm super chic, most of the time I look like an escapee from a grade 5 facility after a rummage through the charity bags.

libertydoddle · 14/07/2016 09:24

We're a friendly bunch peach and we've all been there with the first MU nerves so don't worry.

Your OOTD sounds great amber. I'm wearing green shirt dress, cream Mango jacket and trusty leopard print loafers, coral Jaeger tote. Like this outfit.

Went for a jog yesterday with DD in tow on her scooter! She's a good little personal trainer. Lots of yelling at me to go faster Grin

HappyGirlNow · 14/07/2016 09:25

Fabby thank you queenc Grin

maradesbois · 14/07/2016 09:42

Morning!

Marsha good luck for interview. Love the SL trench.

Think the floaty dress would be perfect for Blair, right balance of romantic with modern twist.

We have visitors first weekend Sep but I should be able to escape for an hour to have a glass of prosecco with you all at mu.

So I need to share something as am fuming! Have noticed on the last couple of occasions have seen a woman in our friendship group (more a partner of a friend than direct friend although would have said we get along pretty well) she's been getting in what seemed like very slight sly digs at me. It may have been going on longer and I didn't notice as left all this shit behind at primary school. Anyway, last night we were at an event together and it escalated to my appearance, she told me apropos of nothing and in front of everyone that my eyebrows were badly done, too thick!!! Was completely blindsided and couldn't react apart from a scowl and Botox permitting raise of said eyebrows. Dh thought it was hilarious at the time but now thinks she's unhappy and jealous of us but am not prepared to put up with silly games. How do you handle stuff like this? There was some bitchy behaviour amongst some of the students on my course (male and female) but thought I was both too old and assertive for people to try such tactics with me.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 14/07/2016 10:25

Oooh Mara I'm not very good at that sort of thing - I think I would ignore and distance myself. She doesn't sound very nice, even if it is motivated by jealousy / envy.

Or go for the direct approach and raise it...I guess it depends if you want to keep having a relationship with this person or not? I'm guessing if she is called out on it she may stop?

Thanks for the car recommendations and the website also Blair - am going to look at some of the reviews on there.

I won't be able to make the 3rd but will aim to come next time.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/07/2016 10:42

Morning.

Mara that is unbelievable! Your DH has it right, I'm sure. She sounds unhappy - but of course that's no reason to be bitchy. And I'm sure your eyebrows are fine. I think I would handle it the same as you - would just be gobsmacked and unable to think of a reply then curse myself for ages after! Sounds like she needs a wide berth for a while. Hope her partner was embarrassed for her.

Which floaty dress did you mean? The one Marsha linked?

My OOTD is Uniqlo cream dress and pearl studs. Shoes are black stilettos because that's what I had under my desk and I drove in in trainers. Must try harder!

Amber you clearly mean the Vogue offices charity bin! Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 14/07/2016 10:42

I can't make the 3rd Sept either :( we are babysitting for SIL and BIL.
