Actually heard I'm through to next round - need to write something for them by Monday and prepare something else for interview on Weds. Crazy, because I only even saw it advertised on Tues! Oh god, what to wear? Company is MUCH more casual than current employer, but I have to go straight into the office afterwards for full on day of meetings, a client event in the afternoon/early evening and then a social event! What the hell covers all that - DVF dress maybe?

Off out tonight, wearing the pink blazer, distressed straight legs rolled up, whistles slogan tee, Topshop tie dye twist front sandals that I picked up in the sale for a tenner and Stella Falabella bag. Can't get too drunk - DD's party tomorrow, which if you'll remember was after the MU last year. Urgh at the memories.

Ordered this Monica Vinader ring - the sort of thing I'll wear a lot, I think.

Oh my goodness, Beyoncé was AMAZING! It's just exacerbated my girl crush, she is just out of this world..

blair we were way up in the seating area and weren't aware of any issues but friends were in standing and apparently someone bumped into someone causing them to spill a drink over someone and all hell broke loose!

Well, spent the night writing up comments in support of our extension application. Next door neighbour has apparently lost the plot. After not being concerned at all by our plans she's gone to objecting which is fine, but more than that comments posted on the planning portal show she's been telling total lies to others, acting the victim to get other objections on her behalf! 10 objections all based on her including from folk in other towns! All her pals! Anyway, got to the point I can't rise above it any more and have had to respond as its getting libellous, it's matter of public record and could be detrimental business wise to us.

DH motorbike racing all this weekend so I'll be warm and comfy for me

Went shopping in Glasgow today before heading home and got Office sandals well actually I ordered online as Office was soooo busy and I CBA trying them on.. Got this Topshop jumper though, love it..

peach it's marketing, which is what I do now, but this is more content/campaign focussed for a small but established independent. I currently work for a huge corporate firm. Much more scope to be creative etc (involves blogging), but would mean leaving the safety of a job I've known for 9y. Long term earning potential would be less but their product is something I feel very passionate about. We'll see.

Morning, long time no post, dh has been away and I've been flying solo with the dc but now he's back dc shipped off to various Saturday morning activities and I have that rare thing call time to myself!

No new fashion buys from me, but have loved wearing my JCrew skirts, when the weather allows. I'm so glad I bought them and have received so many complements.

Off out later for a picnic with the dc, hope you're all having a great weekend. Feels good to be back

Good effort last night amber hope you felt OK today! New job sounds interesting. The trade off between earning potential and something you believe in is a hard one, especially when you've been in your current role for a long time and I bet you feel like you know it inside out. Oh well, see how the interview goes. There's always the good old pros and cons lists! Outfit suggestion of nice dress or skirt/ trousers and top for interview with jacket option for meetings sounds a potential. Or just dress in a similar way on Monday (and Wednesday) so it's not so strange on Tuesday and say you're trying out a new style .

Both of my DCs are at parties I'm trying not to imagine what they're getting up to this is new. Quiet house.........just DH and me, quite nice actually.

I have the precise opposite dry - four kids aged 8-5 upstairs. I have been up to shout at them about 15 times!

Well, I survived. Totally outsourcing the party helped hugely! Compared to last year it was like Valhalla.

Now waiting for the cat to come in - he beat a hasty retreat when the kids descended. Fair play, I would have done the same.
