Oh that's a good idea shop re going to your local salon. And yy to an August MU. I'm around most of the month.

I'm around early Aug - 14th, but not much after. In Lon between 22-24 and 26-28, I think.

August sounds good, I'm around until my birthday (18th). This needs to be the joint big birthdays meet up!

Thanks QueenC and Amber, I ended up doing a variation of Everyone's idea (though I hadn't seen your post!) and looking at this page to get an idea of size. I don't have a printer :( but I've gone for the bigger one as I now realise 24mm is very small. I don't want the face to look too crowded.

Sad to miss the mini MU last night & Mara's new hair.

DH is still in hospital although slowly improving. Life feels very up in the air. I have two things I'm meant to be going to next week that I doubt I'll make & have cancelled a small party for my birthday. Sorry bit self-pitying. I need to buy something in the sales to make myself feel better!

We're away 5-20th August provided Dh has recovered sufficiently but in London apart from that.

Justified self pity Stokey. for you. I hope DH recovers soon.

Well it was my last day at work yesterday, lovely team lunch, was given a bottle of champagne and loads of HoF vouchers. Quite emotional, had a little cry as I was leaving.. But I am happy

DH took me out for dinner last night to celebrate. Just pub dinner and we watched some of the tennis and the Wales game.

Off to get ready to head through to Glasgow for dinner then Beyoncé concert.. Whatever I wear it'll be practical and warm, it's a bit mixed weather-wise up here..

I'm losing baby weight...a bit slowly! - but getting there. So trying not to buy too much at the moment. Have a couple of nights out and a party coming up and have to have a couple of bits that fit now without me feeling like Shrek....

Can someone buy these please? I love them but have nowhere to wear them - much like that pink TS blazer of Amber's. I keep looking at how fab it is but not sure when I'd wear it. It could become like the pink SE boots which I still haven't worn........

Thankyou very much shop - I will - really enjoying the style inspiration already....and when back wearing "normal" clothes - will be great to share an outfit or two and avoid glazed over eyes from DP.

Those shoes are fantastic!....especially like them in plum. Not for me though....as well as not having anywhere to wear them to, my neck would be in imminent danger after a mere sniff of wine. I am not the greatest balancer in heels - nude wedgies (if you know what I mean ) for me this weekend.

I have so many heels still in their boxes that I haven't worn......yet.....

How old is / are your DC(s) peach ? Questions questions

My DD turned 5 months old on Monday shop. I am a mere 37 years...38 very soon.... ...she is my only one.

The impact on the figure has been - er - substantial!. Even my bottom joined in the pregnancy growth which I thought was very thorough.

I am sure I should have been at least catwalk ready weeks ago! .

Anyhoo - I'll get there!. How old are your DC's shop.....any reassurance that my somewhat smaller figure will one day return would be very welcome
