I'm exhausted - I was out Tuesday, Thursday and Friday last week, then had about 40 people over yesterday morning for a pre-school meet. And have tickets to Lords today, but it's raining. I have mainly been wearing cropped flares teamed with a peasant top and either block heels or metallic flats (weed on Gigis and ghillies).

Loved the Crystal Maze Amber but gosh it was hot so thanks for the tips. I wore a black dress and neon pink cardie out to dinner after - really liked that outfit.

I keep thinking about the pom pom sandals that Eve from All Worn Out had on her blog but think they're sold out.

Sounds great dry . Can't beat a cheesy tune.

Not much to report from the sparkle household, it's been a pretty quiet one. Whistles skirt is going back. The length and pattern do nothing for me so it's not worth keeping at that price. Shame really as it was almost exactly what I was looking for.

stokey glad you enjoyed the crystal maze. I was trying to convince my boss that we should go there for a team building day but he wasn't convinced. Maybe I'll just have to try and convince my DH instead

We didn't celebrate the Queens birthday but we decided to have a family afternoon playing games which was really good fun. The dcs don't appear to have yet recovered from all the late nights on holiday so ds has been tired all afternoon and I am sat by his bed waiting for him to sleep.

Very casual outfit today (j crew blingy top and matchstick jeans), including debut of my new watch.

Bought a few bits today as well. lingerie (I am bored of current choices), a parka (a gap in my wardrobe that I have tried to fill but never get it right)' Swarovski ring.

I got reminded today about the value of giving away old clothes so I think it's the push that I might have finally needed for a wardrobe clear out!

Just had a hoo ha with NAP today! Booked and paid for nominated day delivery for burgundy Drew for tomorrow.. This was a few days ago. Email confirmation from NAP when I ordered and another email confirming this morning.. Then had an email from DHL comfirming NAP delivery.. By end of day Tuesday! Good job I actually read their email.

Called NAP and they said that's because the DHL distribution centre is really busy and they're managing your expectations.! Well.. You can imagine my response. I've swapped meetings and rearranged work to be at home tomorrow for this delivery and as its now Sunday the office is closed and I can't change.. And I can't work from home on Tuesday too..

Honestly!

To be fair, NAP advisor was lovely and has sent an email to them to ask them to prioritise.. She tried to call them but as its Sunday they're shut.. She's going to call in the morning. As I said, I've not spent and insignificant amount of money - this is just not acceptable.

Most excited as DH and I have just booked flights to attend a child free wedding in Sicily. And I already have the perfect dress!

Exactly QueenC! And took quite a bit of rearranging to be home tomorrow.. Shouldn't matter but bag is £1100ish!!! And they can't even honour next day delivery? Poor.

*next day = nominated day.. Been out for dinner and a few couple of glasses of bubbly, can you tell?

Can't link the exact one but its this dress in the fourth colour way - the nude and black print. Bought it ages ago but never had the occasion to wear it!

Oh and it's late August so the weather should be pretty decent!

Morning all. Busy day ahead here. Wearing heels and lots of lippy! Decided to groom my brows as well so used a benefit kit I bought ages ago. Slightly worried that I have overdone it. I keep catching sight of them in the window of the Tube and thinking

Everyone I bought that Boden dress last year, it's a really easy dress to wear, just need the right weather to wear it -looking at you rain-

Red Hobbs shoes arrived and it's love, i've now joined the red shoes brigade! There's been a lot of red shoes buying on here recently.

Bought this longline vest to wear casually on holiday as a dress/tunic with Gigis, it's more like a dress on me as it's to my knees grey vest/dress

Prolly my new gold star ones. I like a bit of gold in the summer.

Aw Dry I'm afraid I've returned the Ava button one. I just thought it was a bit orangey (vermeil can be) and the chain looked a bit cheap.. I've kept the Fiji, didn't have a choice though as I got it engraved, it's nicer but still quite a strong gold colour.

My Astley Clarke Cosmo disc one is still on order, that's solid gold though so colour will be fine.

Amber I obviously can't count or read I thought the dress was yellow.

Just bought a couple of skirts, I have a massive gap in my wardrobe for summer skirts

JCrew skirt in white and in charcoal grey this was the skirt I was looking for in when I bumped into Queen, Dry & Fedup I was racing round the shop trying to find it.
