phew, another mini wardrobe cull completed. that's another bin bag for my sisters to pick through and take what they want and the rest will go in the charity collection bins.

trying to decide if i really need 3 wool winter coats. i am loathe to get rid of any of them as i love all three and do wear all three of them on rotation when the weather dictates. however they do need to got to the dry cleaners so that's a job for next week i think

latest skirt that i bought in a size down FITS!! i am so pleased, i haven't been deliberately dieting, i've been eating what i want, when i want, i've just been trying to make healthier choices when i am eating, so fruit instead of chocolate, rice cakes instead of crisps. its working so i''m obviously doing something right

So managed to pop into town for a pair of sandals studiously avoided all clothes shops and came home with 2 pairs (Dune sale has started) so feeling a bit smug!

These ghillie lace heels - am ridiculously happy with them! The description says they are orange but are more an orangey red.

Can't decide which pair to wear tonight yet but as it's really muggy atm, it could well be the sandals.

I got an M&S beauty box today. I didn't want anything so had decided I would not be getting one but it's my Mum's birthday next week and she told me today about a couple of tops she wanted so I added the beauty box to the order - result! Very happy with it.

Debuted the Loeffler Randall sandals tonight. Very comfy - managed to walk about a mile uphill in them! Teamed with my cobalt Herve leger dress and Gucci clutch. Liked it.

I have a definite 'going out top' gap in my wardrobe. Lots of smart casual, going to the pub type tops but only a couple of dressier ones; need to find some for my sales wish list.

This weekend is all about the dcs, one had a late party last night so meant we couldn't go out. We stayed in and had wine. ''Twas lovely. This morning we have a music exam, just geeing myself up to go down and rehearse again. At least today I think there is a chance of passing of passing it, that wasn't the case 3 days ago.

Our nanny trial worked out well. The kids loved her and she seemed keen, and importantly more common traits with our old nanny than the two we have had since. Fingers crossed.

I went to see barry Manillow Liberty, was a bit embarrassed to admit this to my friends with cool music taste.............I did myself proud, plenty of pre concert cocktails prep, even got my flashlight out and swayed with the best of them! Was relieved that he was still standing at the end
