So summer is around the corner probably and we're looking forward to crops, short sleeved tops and flipflops Grin

Come and tell us all about your summer purchases, high street or high end, we love it all.

you don;t have to get rid of any linus i think it's only me who is definitely doing 'one in one out' at the minute Smile although maybe if you have bought new ones, you could retire or re-purpose some of your older ones

libertydoddle · 05/06/2016 22:51

I don't do 'one in, one out' Linus. More of a gradual accumulation followed by a purge every once in a while Grin

libertydoddle · 06/06/2016 10:05

The sun is out - happy, happy days...

First warm weather work OOTD...

Uniqlo navy dress
R&B sandals
Coral Jaeger tote
Z for Accessorise gold plated layered necklace, green and gold woven leather bangle, rose gold skagen watch.

FedupNagging · 06/06/2016 10:07

Where is everyone?

Love your sandals Louloulabelle - hope they pass muster and you keep them.

I don't do the one in one out either but have purges twice a year; I'm trying to wear what I have rather than buy more at the moment and then will have a better idea of what I need in the sales.

whispers did anyone like any of the links yesterday? Thought I'd killed the thread for a while Wink

Ootd is the rarely worn Next chambray jumpsuit with Boden orange cropped cardi and gigi's - have also dug out my tan Mulberry somerset and put the new Kate Spade away to rest for a couple of days!

Am looking after dgc today - he's asleep atm so am taking advantage and mumsnetting doing some jobs; am looking forward to feeding the ducks later Grin

Grin at Fedup. I think the nice links just generated happy sighs while people enjoyed the sun! The Row bag is gorgeous but my first thought was '£1.6k for something that would be ruined after one day' well in my sweaty hands it would be ruined in one day

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 06/06/2016 10:33

OOTD is coral Armani Collezione dress with very old M&S grey and coral mary janes, and bare legs. I had stockings on but this dress isn't lined so my legs looked "sausagey" (DH's word; love him Hmm). Anyway, I'm nice and cool Grin

Lib and Fedup sounds like today is a coral/orange day!

I returned the linen trousers i bought for my holiday. (I'd already had an exchange because the hem came down - I just took the unworn replacement back, because I thought realistically I'm not going to need them again). So I'm not doing one in one out, but am being good.

louloubelle2 · 06/06/2016 11:12

The K Jacques sandals I ordered arrived, and unfortunately for my bank balance and common sense, they are really lovely. Heavy sole (but not in a bad way, more sturdy), proper, not cosmetic stitching, and each leather strap has been glued and tacked so they feel like they would't break easily. This was my concern with a high street version, I wouldn't hike in them, but I do walk a lot and want something which wouldn't fall apart after a few wears. I hate false economy and buying cheap then regretting, and am willing to pay more for quality, every though this prices stretches even my justifications. I think they are keepers. Just need a tan and for this weather to last a bit longer!

QueenC1 · 06/06/2016 11:39

That's great loulou. Stick around.
fedup sorry I was moping around with period pain so didn't check your links. Will do now.
Sunny today-dc on inset day so going out for lunch. Wearing dark blue linen dress (think I wore it to last summers MU)

QueenC1 · 06/06/2016 11:42

That row bag would definitely need its own bag stool. Love the colour of the chloe and love the puzzle but in silver. The shoes don't do anything for me I'm afriad Smile

Stokey · 06/06/2016 14:48

Did anyone see Eve Worn-out's Boho sandals? from River Island I think, quite liked them, they remind me a little of show number 3 Fedup but far more hippy. I am slumming it in cut-offs, double vest & silver Birkies, perfect sunshine outfit for me.

What should I wear to Crystal Maze Amber? Jeans & tee? Going for food after so need something transitional.

Stokey · 06/06/2016 14:48

Shoe number three!

Topazandpearl · 06/06/2016 21:01

Good news about your sandals loulou. Someone on here once said that you never regret buying the more expensive items (justifying and enabling)
Great shopping happy and amber and great links fedup (it was too bright to read on my iPad in the garden yesterday). I hope you had fun with DGC. The Row bag would need to be handled with kid gloves as well as its own stool! Lovely though.
It's hard to choose work outfits for this heat. Some rooms I'm in are air conditioned, some not. Ootd consisted of a pair of cropped white trousers, blue Ravello top, white statement necklace and blue and white ballet flats. The shoes weren't quite right but I feel funny about exposing toes at work. Got some compliments though.
I love that it is warm enough to be sitting in the garden at 9pm!

AmberNectarine · 06/06/2016 22:11

stokey - trainers, definitely - you will be running. Leggings and a tee would be my suggestion. You'll want close fitting if you intend to attempt some of the physicals. It is HOT in there (like, I almost had a stroke, hot) so nothing more than a t-shirt/vest. There are lockers so you can change after (which is what I did).

Top top - do not cheat in the dome. You WILL be disqualified.

QueenC1 · 06/06/2016 22:21

That's probrably so true topaz about no regrets about the more expensive item ignores regret at buying an expensive white top which im too scared to wear

Wondering what to wear to work tomorrow too. Not sure how hot my office gets.

Did a huge h&m order for dd for the summer (last years play suits, shorts and dresses are indecently too short this year) and she looks ridiculously grown up and stylish in them to the point that I'm proud and Envy in equal measure Grin.

libertydoddle · 07/06/2016 08:39

That's funny QueenC. Lucky DD with all her lovely new clothes!

topaz sitting in garden at 9pm is great.

Hmmmm amber did you get disqualified? Grin or was it DH?

My cold has mostly cleared but I have a horrible cough. Can see people moving away from me on the Tube Blush

Dreamqueen · 07/06/2016 09:13

Finally got around to trying on my Hudson brogues. they are definitely keepers. Seem comfortabe & don't look too butch.
OOTD is gym wear at the moment. I'm trying to get exercise mojo but I really hate the gym

Stokey · 07/06/2016 09:35

Thanks Amber good tips Grin

I'll bring a dress to change into.

So annoyed with myself. I caught my black midi skirt with poppers - think I wore it to the last MU - in my back brakes on my bike this morning and it has completely ripped. Just after I'd told the dds to make sure they were sitting on their skirts

HappyGirlNow · 07/06/2016 10:49

stokey that is so annoying. That was a great skirt.
