Shop I would love Sofia Coppola's wardrobe for its simplicity, I love her style along with Emma Willis's and Olivia Palermo's. Frankie Bridge's off duty non Saturday's look is pretty good at times too.

I also like the boyishness of Emmanuelle Alt and Cappuccino Safyurtlu but as they are a foot taller than me I can't do that look.

For dinner out tonight I wore, an old Zara denim paper bag style dress with blue suede espadrilles. It covered a multitude of sins.

Morning! my lovely love latches (black 65) arrived and they are utterly awesome. I am so in love with them. So now I want to get the red ones either as a well done to myself because I get a job I want (and am obsessing over) or more likely as a consolation because I don't get it!

It's a huge deal chez Bling tonight as we are using a new baby sitter. I am terrified they will act up for her as neither of them likes going to bed and both are clingy with me. As a result dh and I have barely had a social Life over the last 8/9 months and so we have decided to break out of the funk. Wish me luck!

I missed Boden as was out last night, regretting not getting the ruched skirt but am cycling quite a bit at the moment which doesn't work well with tight skirts!

I think I need some cropped flares or culottes - anyone got any recommendations? Am in town for my course on Wednesday so could try some on.

I decided long ago that culottes and I were never meant to be!

I am wearing this Me & Em stripe top which I ordered after seeing how good Shop looked in a similar top last week. It's slightly blowy so I have my new leather jacket, Gap children's skinnier and converse. I am also using the Miu Miu bag which I changed my mind about!

I want to go in to town to Marant, but I have Marant jumper (with a logo) and shoes on. If I go in I will have to hide the logo I reckon, and can't be bothered changing. Will see if I can muster up the impetus.

Going to a party tonight, going to see Amber there! and lots of other stylish people. Having a crisis of wardrobe. I have nothing - other than the Marant dress. argh. So I do want to go in to see if I can last minute shop.

Scary article in Times mag today about how leggings are the new skinnies. Apparently it's all about athleisure.

Marsha I think of the beachy, Californian vibe of Cameron Diaz for you too, but I don't know if I am being unimaginative and being influenced by your country of origin!

I've been keen on a pair of culottes for ages Stokey but haven't found any that suit. Having said that I can't think of any I've tried - think Uniqlo a while ago and Atterley even longer ago (seeing as it is no longer with us).

stokey- have a look in warehouse-pretty sure last time I looked they had some denim culottes. On my phone at swimming at mo with rubbish wifi so can't check for you.

Stokey I got some denim culottes in Uniqlo these ones They're much nicer in real life than in the picture.

Last night I ended up wearing the white jeans and navy broderie top I wore to the MU last week but with 4'' silver wedges; I had some lovely comments about the outfit so was pleased.

Stokey leggings are the latest fashion statement - I can only pull the legging look off if I'm wearing a long tunic and knee high boots which is apparently frowned upon in MN style & beauty

Oh and I love my ootd - BR black crops, white l/s t under raspberry s/s batwing jumper (Jigsaw), giant scarf of assorted colours and Ash jordy's.

Bernice here are my Uniqlo culottes. I got them in large. They are lovely on IMO, drape nicely. 96% poly but I've worn them several times and haven't had problems with feeling hot or with static. Several people have commented on how flattering they are. I have seen Dream's denim ones IRL too and they might be worth you trying too as they are great.

Stokey I read that article about leggings too. When I was in NZ in February they were everywhere - all the staff in bars and cafes in trendy places like Queenstown had adopted them as uniforms and they just seemed the default wear for the young and uber cool. But like most fashion it's all about what it says - ie I am really fit and sporty and toned enough to carry this off!! Which means it will never be me... On a slightly TMI note though, I think pubic hair needs to get back into vogue too for anyone wearing these as the amount of camel toe on display was enough to put a girl off her flat white!

Went quickly into town but couldn't find anything I wanted Marant, really lovely stuff, lots of prints, but I think more for Mara than me. I loved a bubblegum pink jumper but it was still fp sadly.
