So summer is around the corner probably and we're looking forward to crops, short sleeved tops and flipflops Grin

Come and tell us all about your summer purchases, high street or high end, we love it all.

Evening!

Linus you do match your sultry accent, for sure! love the round up.

Finding it harder to go back to daily life, ie work, after Saturday, was so good.

I'm keeping the Marc Jacobs red jumper, and kept the Hunters and yellow t and am sending the rest back. So thanks for all the comments, pretty spot on!

I do still need to find a skirt though, I might have a look this weekend.

shopafrolic · 19/05/2016 11:07

Where is everyone?! Time for a MNV question.......

If you could pick one celebrity or fashion insider's wardrobe - whose would you choose?
I'm going with Anna Friel, Clémence Poésy, and Linda fargo with a touch of Claudia Winkleman....
oh and some Ruby Rose for my rock chick days Grin
GO!

BerniceBobsHerHair · 19/05/2016 12:43

That's an interesting question Shop - there are a few people whose style I love but their clothes wouldn't suit me.

So I am always drawn to pictures of Miraslova Duma on pin but she is a tiny little gamine thing and I am not, plus I don't think her wardrobe would translate well to my life.

I think I might go for Jenna Lyons as I love that mixed up J Crew look she does so well and I think I could incorporate a lot of her stuff in my everyday wardrobe. I'm ignoring the fact she is a 6 foot glamazon

I also like the clothes that blogger Erica Davies wears - I wouldn't say no to her wardrobe.

I could also go for Kirsten Dunst. Quite a few people now I've started thinking about it!

I've never heard of Linda Fargo before - just had a look, she does look good. I can almost see you in her stuff the most as her look is quite sharp and sleek, the others are a bit boho - especially Anna F, though that might just be the pics that came up of her.

libertydoddle · 19/05/2016 13:07

Good question!

I agree with Bernice on Erica Davies. Great wardrobe and not afraid to mix it up.

I like Fern Cotton too. I always think 'oh I could do that' or 'where did she get that'when I see her.

My style crush is Ines de la fressange. Love that simple, clean, classic, slightly boho look. Again would probably work better on me if I was a little bit taller and a lot thinner!

And Caroline on the Un Fancy always looks great.I wish I could do the pared back thing as well as her - would like to get her around to do a wardrobe edit for me. And I would happily steal all her shoes!

libertydoddle · 19/05/2016 13:14

Hmmmm I should probably spell Fearne's name properly Blush

QueenC · 19/05/2016 13:16

Kate moss of course! Most her stuff wouldn't suit me or fit me but I'd steal those repetto Mary Janes that's she's constantly been wearing this week. She's slso apparantly got a lot of old vintage stuff which would be good to look through. Other than that someone who has some elie Saab gowns in their wardrobe so that I could play dress up.

shopafrolic · 19/05/2016 14:11

I'm only lusting after Anna Friel's Marcella wardrobe I think Bernice - specifically her (and Mara's) parka

LinusLovesBretons · 19/05/2016 15:01

Good question!

lib I love Inès de la Fessange as well but she is about double my height so I can't imagine looking good in her clothes.

I would probably go for another Frenchwoman like Marion Cotillard or one of the French Vogue gang but they are still a bit more rock chick than me.

Will try and think of someone else.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 19/05/2016 18:59

I really have no idea as I don't really follow any blogs or anything. I do sometimes wish I could pull off some of Dita Von Teese's looks, she can looks incredibly elegant at events. A girl's got to dream big hasn't she Grin

i'm in two minds about which dress i should wear for my friends wedding next week, both choices are blue to go with my hair accessories, one is a very vivid cobalt blue with long sleeves and a deep v neck, the other a sleeveless very dark navy. Both look good with the pink of my shoes and bag but i just cant decide between them!! arrrrgggh

Drywhitethanks · 19/05/2016 21:29

Celeb shop? Hmm ...well love Julianne Moore of course

Have relatives visiting this weekend, loads of food prep done. Summer house BBQ on Saturday. Busy weekend ahead.

AmberNectarine · 19/05/2016 22:04

For me it is Lily Allen or Leigh Lezark.

shopafrolic · 20/05/2016 08:10

Morning all for fellow stripe lovers

libertydoddle · 20/05/2016 08:59

Oh I am wearing one of those today! The kakhi and cream Jigsaw l/s one that QueenC originally linked for me. Wearing it with navy Uniqlo culottes, beige superga and an oversized orange scarf from Hobbs.

shopafrolic · 20/05/2016 09:09

Sounds lush Lib

libertydoddle · 20/05/2016 11:48

Thanks shop. I am liking today's outfit! Just us here???

libertydoddle · 20/05/2016 11:56

I saw a woman today whose look totally made me turn my head. Gorgeous patterned swishy midi skirt, with tucked in white button down shirt. Mary Jane tan shoes. Unfortunately she was running for a train otherwise I would have stopped her and demanded details. Smile

QueenC · 20/05/2016 13:30

I'm here although knee deep in bedding. Hate, hate , hate changing beds and all the washing it entails.

Outfit sounds great lib. I'm in skinny rolled up jeans and navy star print blouse. Fashion wise this is my favourite weather-feel my best in cropped/rolled up jeans/trousers and 3/4 length sleeve blouse and ballet flats.

shopafrolic · 20/05/2016 14:37

I just did my first ever Reformer Pilates class. I think I've found my spiritual home. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. No style news - just head to toe Adidas.

Dreamqueen · 20/05/2016 14:54

I've just come back from westfield.
here are my Uniqlo purchases.
This dress It's lovely on, I'll ditch the belt though.
These culottes I just love culottes & these are perfect.
This dress in navy stripe.
And finally this dress It's the same style as the one I bought on Saturday.

I'll be like a walking advert for Uniqlo this summer. I managed to get in and out of Westfield before it got too busy.

I've decide to attempt the 5/2 diet next week. Doing the 2 days on Mon & Wed, wish me luck! Need to tackle the blubber.

Happy weekend lovely MNV ladies Smile

shopafrolic · 20/05/2016 18:01

Lovely links Dream
How do Boden make money. I just used the £10 voucher and 20% off and free delivery voucher at the same time which meant I got a striped long sleeved for DS for £1!!

FedupNagging · 20/05/2016 18:57

Good question from yesterday Shop and I have been pondering. I always really like Stefani's outfits but rock chic really doesn't suit me. I do a similar look to the link sometimes but without the rips! Also Victoria Beckham always look great.

This Jennifer Garner look is probably what I do the most - she usually looks pretty good in her off duty style.

Dream great purchases from Uniqlo - as you know I love a stripe. Will be reading Shop's link later.

I am off out for cocktails tonight with girlfriends and have no idea what to wear - aagh; I have 35 mins until I need to leave and haven't even started to get ready......

Have a great evening everyone Smile

I have style celeb block!

AmberNectarine · 20/05/2016 20:29

I can't even think of anyone for you Marsha! I think you're one of a kind!

MarshaBrady · 20/05/2016 20:38

I don't think there's much of a calling for skinnies and t / jumper in the celeb world Grin

Love everyone else's though!

LinusLovesBretons · 20/05/2016 20:39
