Come and chat about fashion, make up and anything glittery and frivolous. We'll take your bad hair day seriously and you never have to apologise for a new bag Grin

And if you happen to know where I can find comfortable but stylish trainers in kakhi or dark brown you are particularly welcome (Blatant abuse of thread setting up privileges) Wink

karcheer if an NHS / charity hospice can take her sooner go for it. Seriously this is an area where the state funded services are really, really superb. I think if you are used to private health care you assume it's better but not in this type of situation. Hugs for you.

I didn't even realise that private hospices existed. I agree with lib that state funded/charity hospices are excellent but if she's really near the end it may be best not to move her as the transfers may be too stressful for her,

Had a lovely day yesterday as it was sunny but it ended in an impromptu drinking session with friends so I'm feeling a little rough this morning. Raining today.

I'm going to laze on the sofa with a cup of tea and browse the new in sections....

Just to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
We spent Good Friday doing chores (I reorganised all my drawers and now realise I have around 15 pairs of jeans! Blush plus black/colour/white skinnies)
The Ines blue blazer from Uniglo is a keeper, light and slim fitting will be great with aforementioned jean collection this spring.

We are off to our little place on the beach...though we should have gone yesterday when the weather was best, I'm resigned to brisk/wet beach walks as forecast is bad for North Norfolk

fedup glad to hear you went curly for a day!Wink

Morning, so nice to have an extra long weekend.
Yesterday I did my longest marathon training run of 20 miles Shock so nothing stylish or beautiful about that but I did it which is the main thing.
A couple of discount snippets incase anyone could use them, Hush have 10% off all weekend and Me&Em have some of the layering tops (I think Dry bought) reduced in their seasonal reductions.
Still not sleeping it doesnt feel so bad when I don't have to do a days work!
Thoughts are with you Karcheer, very sad times.

Hi nilby and welcome. My personal favourite is the red one but if you can wear that shade of Å·ellow that would look fab too. What's the price difference? Im assuming the red is self portrait. When is the wedding? The only problem with a dress like that is what will you put with it if it's chilly?

For all you seasoned travellers please give me your tips for travelling and getting over jet lag.
vegas ive pm'd you
blair I'm about to pm you too.

nilbyname · 26/03/2016 09:57

It is a self portrait dress and it comes in lots of colours... But I love the red.

I would wear with tan leather wedge sandals and a little tan leather saddle bag. If it's cold then... Not sure. I have a leather jacket that would look ok but not particularly weddingy!

The yellow one is a blatant copy and a third of the price. Not sure about the colour but have ordered it to try on.

LinusLovesBretons · 26/03/2016 10:28

Morning!

nilby welcome. I love the red dress.

That APC dress is lovely queenc. I hope to visit an APC flagship store next weekend so I'll look out for it.

Feeling a bit better but now DS is poorly. I hope it's the last of the winter bugs!

libertydoddle · 26/03/2016 15:46

I love the VS dress QueenC.

Thinking of you karcheer.

Both dresses are lovely nilby but the red edges it for me. That said it looks like a bugger to find a bra for! Welcome.

Drywhitethanks · 26/03/2016 18:56

Stokey hope your wedding is going well

Drywhitethanks · 26/03/2016 19:10

Red Niby but depends on your colouring.

Karcheer I'm off out but remind me, I'll tell you all you need to know about wardrobes/dressing rooms....have a long journey tomorrow

Karcheer · 26/03/2016 19:59

Mil was asleep the whole time we visited today, so at least she's peaceful, bless her.

Thanks dry things are getting very detailed with the extension now, ordered ceiling speakers for the four new bathrooms I had no idea how expensive cable was! think we spent £800!
Still going round in circles with tiles, think I'm going to go with calacatta for our ensuite I'd love book matched but i think dh would freak at the cost! with white quartz floor and Carrara for the other ensuite. The family bathroom I'm thinking crackle glaze and a grey marble although after chatting to the man in mandarin stone maybe a porcelain equiv. for the downstairs shower room I'm stuck!

LinusLovesBretons · 26/03/2016 23:10

Oh good news dry!

shop will send you the burgundy one if you like.

I meant to say that I did wash the drrsses before sending but they might have gathered some dust as it took a bit longer to box them beforehand.
