Come and chat about fashion, make up and anything glittery and frivolous. We'll take your bad hair day seriously and you never have to apologise for a new bag Grin

And if you happen to know where I can find comfortable but stylish trainers in kakhi or dark brown you are particularly welcome (Blatant abuse of thread setting up privileges) Wink

AmberNectarine · 22/04/2016 08:10

Delurking briefly, hello everyone.

Liberty, re khaki trainers, I came across these Puma Suedes. I'm not sure how green/brown their definition of "olive" is though.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 22/04/2016 09:00

really like that clutch amber BUT i don't think it looks as much as it costs, if you know what i mean. still like it though

dp gets here in a few hours, so excited. i sleep, eat and just function better in general when he's around Smile

hoping it stays dry today so i can wear my white wonder woman converse!

AmberNectarine · 22/04/2016 09:36

I've already got one of them (zebra print) and I agree not worth £650, though they are well made. I picked mine up in the NaP sale for about £150, which I think is about right (well it's not, but it's palatable).

Had a heart attack this morning when I couldn't find my LV clutch. Took it out last night and had a few shandies and thought I might have left it in the taxi. Eventually I recovered it from the kids' Lego box. Phew.

maradesbois · 22/04/2016 11:35

Morning,

I lost a long post yesterday, so annoying. Didn't realise until just now it didn't work so can't even rewrite, gah.

Am 4 days into shred and feeling good albeit legs a bit sore. Need to get back into running as well. Ootd is flings again with Ganni sweatshirt, stans and the awkward blue colour hermès scarf. Very casual but comfortable. Got fed up of my natural hair this morning and blow dried it but for the first time in my adult life am thinking it actually looks better wavy Shock.

Lib glad you left the md shoes, there's nothing worse than that one annoying detail. One of my bugbears is the terrible scratchy labels that Zara uses, you can't cut them out properly without making a hole (well I can't).

dragons, hi, the puma look good and nice discount.

justa nice converse.

QueenC I chuckled at the lemonade bag you linked with matching straw, am not cool enough to make that look good quirky although am sure ds would love messing with it!

Random comment to finish on, the Italian students on my course are wearing socks with their trainers/superga and cropped jeans and make it look good. I am baring ankles and freezing. Dry is baring ankles and fine.

Oh, and my friend bought cheap straight leg jeans in Zara (£14) and cut them off at ankle and frayed. They look brilliant! Am going to practice on some of ds's old jeans that are too short.

libertydoddle · 22/04/2016 12:41

Dragons how lovely of you Flowers. I have just ordered those. Fab price and I love that style. I will report back. Smile

Mara I am with you on the Zara labels. I have also been very irritated by labels on J-Crew T shirts.

Amber Phew on the LV bag!

Oh I'm glad you like them Liberty was unsure about posting because M&M Direct isn't very Vogue! I'm waiting for mine to arrive atm :)

shopafrolic · 22/04/2016 13:34

Welcome Dragons YAY for finding Lib some trainers :)
My RayBans have arrived. i think I love them - either that or I am embarrassment to my son and shouldn't be allowed out (can 5yos be embarrassed by their DMs?)
Mara I have a pair of GAP skinnies that I am about to hack up - on my list of to dos for today. They are the ones I re dyed black a month or so ago but they have always been too long so the scissors are calling.

shopafrolic · 22/04/2016 13:36

like this Just need the GVs now Grin

libertydoddle · 22/04/2016 13:45

It's the style that matters Dragons not the source Wink. Do stay around....

Love those trainers Dragons
Good to hear the converse are comfortable Dream and hope you have warmed up, its horrible taking the wrong clothes on holiday. DH and I went to Istanbul in April pre dc and it was so cold, I was freezing the entire week. He kept trying to get me to buy a jumper but they were all horrid acrylic glittery ones in the grand bazaar.
Those look good shop I was going to do the same to an old pair of light blue skinnies from zara, let us know how you get on.

shopafrolic · 22/04/2016 14:14

I"ve just ordered the silver aviators too - there is an extra 18% off at the moment so they are £54ish a pair. Rude not to.

justasecond · 22/04/2016 14:16

Does anyone have a me and em code? I wanted to order these
www.meandem.com/slouchy-jogger-black

Stokey · 22/04/2016 15:52

Gutted about Prince, I snogged a few frogs purely because a Prince song was playing at the time. Hard to choose a fave but maybe U got the look or Get Off

No code but like those joggers Justa. Would you wear them for everyday rather than just sports? I tried an Asos pair this week but were a bit too sporty for everyday wear.

My silver Supergas arrived and are annoyingly too big. I'm not sure whether to size down as think it's the width rather than the length. It's a pity as they're perfect for spring.

Love the aviators Shop.

Dreamqueen · 22/04/2016 17:58

Shop where did you order your aviators from please?

justasecond · 22/04/2016 18:16

I found a 15% off code with free delivery so have ordered them. I plan to wear them out stokey As long as they are not thin and flimsy I think it should be ok as they don't have cuffed hems. I would try a size down in the superga, they look like they come up big

shopafrolic · 22/04/2016 19:22

here DreamQueen
Code on the homepage Smile

shopafrolic · 22/04/2016 19:35
