happy I can't remember exactly which ones Cranagh got. It was just that I wouldn't think of Zara for jeans and she had recently linked Zara jeans. My sister tried on loads and liked a lot of them. She is curvy so can find it hard to get jeans she likes. She got a pair of black super skinnies priced at £29 I think. Very stretchy and comfortable and v flattering.

Really annoyed with Debenhams customer service, I bought something the day before their sale started and they won't honour the new price which is now 50% off. I've had to reorder the item to store to avoid paying for delivery!

Has anyone ever had a suit made, either in Asia or anywhere else? Am considering doing it in HK. I'll have time for 3 fittings so it would be worth it.

Blair I have thought about having a suit made in Asia a few times but tbh a lot if the places I have seen (mostly in Bangkok) have put me off. A lot of the available styles seem a bit dated. I haven't been to HK though so perhaps they are better there. I would like to have a recommendation I think.

Just stocked up on hair products and sun creams at Essential.com - they have 25% off until tomorrow if anyone needs any make up etc.

QueenC so tempted by those first sandals for holiday but they look super high and I would only wear them with boyfriend jeans so probably not wise?

Just went and measured my highest heels and they are 4.25 inches so at 4.5 on those I can't go there. Shame - they are lush.
While I was looking in my shoe cupboard I realised I only have one open toed pair of heels - the LKB sandals I bought last year. SHOE GAP!!!! MUST BE FILLED!

I thought I'd got rid of all the 'picked for you's' on pinterest but they came back with a vengence a few weeks ago - it's so annoying.

Gorgeous heels from TS - I'd definitely break an ankle tottering around in those though.

My more 'comfy' and manageable flatforms from Dune have arrived and are perfect.

I wore them today with ankle zip black jeans and grey polo and they looked fab.

Also got a compliment from a stranger - she said I looked fabulous in my new and very inexpensive sunnies

Blair my dp's have had clothes made in HK and Singapore and the quality was great - can imagine the styles would be a little dated though. Dm also got a cheongsam custom made and looks amazing in it - a great dinner party/cocktail dress if you get the right pattern and colour.

I didn't think about the styles maybe being dated so thanks, that's a good point. Cheongsam is another idea, I'd love one! Recommendation wise, the friend we're going with has family there, so we will just go to his tailor. But I need to find out if they even do women's stuff. I'd just like to be prepared, but maybe I need to go with an open mind.

Love the Mary Janes but also the link shoes Queen. Definitely want to inject some colour into my wardrobe!

My dad used to get suits made over there when he was over for work Blair. Great quality and detailing. I can't imagine a time I would ever wear a suit though and I work in a pretty staid field. Even in an interview situation I'd just wear a jacket and dress, I think.

I have heard that tailors over there can perfectly recreate favourite items in other colours/fabrics though which is definitely something I'd have done.

Blair I used to get dresses made all the time when I lived in Asia, but definitely best to give them something to copy.

I've never had a suit made but my brother had lots of shirts and suits made when he lived in HK, and Dh did too when we went to visit. Again I think he had a couple that he just got copied in different fabrics.

Boo, the blazers were too long for my short arse frame, although they didn't look it they were long line on me, so back to the drawing board.

No QueenC the pink boots haven't been worn yet but I'm hoping they'll get their first outing this Spring. Need some cocktails with the girls. I'll have to wear them for the MU.

Shame you haven't worn them yet shop but we can both be in pink boots/shoes together at MU (unless it's raining and I need to wear boots).

marsha I don't really wear designer so not sure I have a favourite. Love some IM stuff and also some dvf blouses. Love elie saab gowns/couture although his recent collections haven't wowed me.
