Spooky - several Zaritas on The Outnet. Any ideas how the sizing compares to the wrap dresses Blair, Blingy?

Don't think I can really justify it though.

I've got Gigis and Pettys which I don't wear them really as they're a bit worky for me. I think I'd like some Jimmies or relaxed jeans.

Great shopping haul Happy, & your weekend sounds lovely.

Like the JV shoes too, do you have the same that Justa has ordered Bernice?

I have an interview this Friday. It's civil service so quite formal. I think I'll probably wear a black suit with pencil skirt and shirt. I'm quite nervous as keep getting interviews and then not getting further, which tells me my CV is fine but I'm not. I think they sense I'm not that committed to working!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/03/2016 11:10

Morning!

Stokey my Zarita is a 4 and my Julian is a 6. In truth the Zarita would probably be a little tight on me at the moment Blush but I sized down to get a more bodycon fit and better fitting sleeves. The Julian only really needs to fit perfectly across the shoulders, which it does.
Well done on the interview,

And yes, typical that there would be a massive influx of DVF on the outnet right after I buy the wrap from Matches! There's another dress I want now, not a Julian though.

Shop the clutch looks lovely, shame about the scarf but I don't really see you in sheer scarves anyway, not dramatic enough. Hope today is ok at the hospital.

Out of the MNV items, I only have the Zarita, but lost a pair of Gigis!

Amber yours and Blingy's DHs are always a good barometer of whether to keep dresses Grin

Oh and my trench coat dress arrived yesterday and is lovely. Yay!

FedupNagging · 15/03/2016 12:10

Thanks for all your thoughts yesterday; the service was outside - the sun was shining and birds singing which I found helped me get through it.

Shop love the bag so glad its a keeper. Still thinking of you and your dm - its tough for you atm.

Happy love your recent buys especially the 2 bags.

Really love your trench dress Blair; are you keeping the julian?

Congrats on the interview Stokey will keep my fingers crossed.

From the MNV list I have gigi's, petty's and jalouse baaa

Ootd is Sandwich teal long bf jumper, navy I&S skinnies, blue striped scarf, tan clarkes knee length boots and tan mulberry somerset.

Mara your colour confusion reminded me of this Wink

AmberNectarine · 15/03/2016 12:33

My Zarita is a 4 and now a little big - I will get it altered.

Blair I meant to say Bentalls in Kingston has quite a few DVF wrap dresses reduced to £100-120 in the sale, if you ever go there?

Basically if it's tight/revealing/ideally both, my DH will like it. I shouted down the stairs to him this morning to ask 'is this too much boob for work?' re, my wrap top. The answer I got was 'I don't need to look, the answer will be no' Hmm

FedupNagging · 15/03/2016 12:36

I forgot to link my Hush order the other day:

Black maxi
Grecian dress - I suspect the neckline/shoulder straps won't look right though
Blue stripes
Pink maxi
Blue shirt

I'm hoping it all might arrive today.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/03/2016 12:53

Ooh thanks Amber I do go in fairly often, might have to this weekend! I did wonder if you found the HL dress in Kingston or if it was in your local TK maxx. That's hilarious about the boob comment!

Fedup glad it was ok, I have never been to an outdoor funeral but I imagine that the sunshine would be a help Flowers
I am keeping the julian :)

BerniceBobsHerHair · 15/03/2016 12:55

Lovely hush purchases Fedup - very summery, are you going away soon or just optimistic? Grin

Happy great shopping haul and sounds like you had a nice time away for DH's birthday. Shame all the good restaurants were shut though.

Good luck with your interview Stokey - can you ask for feedback if necessary?

I have these JV flats. I like the ones Justa picked too, and I am tempted by these but don't think I would wear them enough to justify.

McQ bag looks great Shop

The JV flats are the only thing I have from the MNV list, though I have coveted the petty boots. I have Ash spiral so almost jalouses. I would love a pair of Jimmys as like boyfriend jeans - need to keep an eye out.

AmberNectarine · 15/03/2016 13:30

It was the Kingston one Blair - it felt like fate - my size, perfect colour and in the clearance! They had loads of premium denim too. That one is particularly good, IMO.

maradesbois · 15/03/2016 13:35

Grin Fedup. I am the man there, definitely have some blindness between green and blue. The colour am failing to describe is bleu canard French speakers? It's beautiful but doesn't go with anything I own.

Great hush stuff, definitely looks like holiday wardrobe...

Stokey interesting re job stuff. Sounds like your ambivalence about going back to work is coming across at interview but probably because you don't really want what you've looked at so far. Think you just need the right opportunity, not sure I see you as civil servant but outfit sounds good!

Great dress blair and glad you're keeping the dvf. I'd love another Zarita but not tempted by the colours on outnet.

maradesbois · 15/03/2016 13:38

Oh and lib yes would still love a blue stone but think I'll buy my own when I finally get a job, if dh has been looking to Chanel am not going to confuse him!

shopafrolic · 15/03/2016 14:42

The Outnet is awesome today. Lots of Ash boots, I ordered a couple of Splendid tees. Must stop shopping now.
DF looks more alert today, I am waiting while he has a CT scan.

justasecond · 15/03/2016 14:59

glad your df is improving shop and love that clutch.
Great trench dress Blair I really like that style.
good find amber I love that colour.
lovely hush haul fedup esp the shirt. I love cobalt blue but don't have anything that colour

On the mnv list I have pettys and the disco if it is going on. I wouldn't mind a pair of jimmies though. Oh and I also have lkbennet florisas which are a lower heeled florette. I think betty might have these too? I am kicking myself for not buying a bargain navy suede pair in the sale.

I might get ds to knock me up one of these Grin

LinusLovesBretons · 15/03/2016 15:18

Lol justa, I might ask my DC to do the same.

mara I think the colour you mean has been described as mallard I believe which makes sense wrt 'bleu canard'

Doesn't it work with grey?

I wear my teals with navy and grey.

Sooo tired, I think I might need to take some iron supplements again. Or maybe it's just my periods.

LinusLovesBretons · 15/03/2016 15:20

shop glad to hear your DF is doing better!

HappyGirlNow · 15/03/2016 16:08

Love the clutch shop!

LV scarves arrived and they're beautiful.. Chuffed Grin

Stokey · 15/03/2016 16:09

Is it duck egg Mara? Provence shutter style? or peacock?

I don't think I really am a civil servant but it is a comms job so more like a press officer. It was advertised as flexible working which is why I applied but doing a bit more research I think you still have to be there at least 10-4 every day, which with the commute is basically 9-5 from home, so means I'd never get to pick up the girls. So still ambivalent!

Shop your Ash tip may me covet these beauties. But would everyone wonder where I'd left my spaceship?? Love the JV links, would definitely get some if i got a job.

Stokey · 15/03/2016 16:10

made me covet... bah

Larastheme · 15/03/2016 16:20

I own nothing from that list, what does that make me?

So many beautiful links, I can't tell who bought what!

shop glad your father is better today,

mara I think Bleu canard is a " chameleon"colour it's somewhere between teal and blue, and sometimes is more greener than blue depending on what you wear it with,

linus look after yourself

stokey that doesn't sound very flexible ,

I found out last night I have a black tie event to attend at the end of may, and im panicking, I absloutely have no idea what to buy.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 15/03/2016 16:27

Love the clutch shop and glad to hear your DF is feeling more alert today, fingers crossed for good scan results

I own nothing on the list, the shoes/boots would just be too high for me to walk in so they aren't worth me buying as i'd stroke them and drool over them and then put them away and never wear them. I did try some Gigi's but was between sizes so couldn't get a good fit and I tried a lot of different ones on so gave up on them in the end. The disco is something I'd consider though as a going out bag as I do use smaller bags to go out with rather than my larger day to day bags. I'd definitely have it in black rather than any other colour though

woke up with a hideous migraine this morning, have felt awful all day but it's finally easing off now. have been in the dark and quiet all day to try and get it under control

FedupNagging · 15/03/2016 16:51

Dh is slightly colour deficient too Mara particularly browns/oranges; he's also not great at seeing differences in colours ie light blue/dark blue/navy are all blue therefore identical Hmm

Those boots do look a bit Startrek Stokey - maybe in a different colourway and they'd definitely look good with skinnies and big jumpers.

One you're not having much fun atm, hope you feel a little better soon, Linus you too.

I won't be keeping all the Hush dresses - just want a couple I can dress up or down on holiday and wear with denim jacket/cropped cardi in the UK.

AmberNectarine · 15/03/2016 17:16

It makes you unique Lara!

I have become unnaturally obsessed with Kylie Jenner's lips, so have ordered the Mac Soar lip liner she wears.

shopafrolic · 15/03/2016 19:31

Just put DS to bed, he hit me and told me he hates me Shock
Guess he's taking it out on me for being pushed round various friend's houses for play dates. Rubbish.

LinusLovesBretons · 15/03/2016 19:46

Oh no shop, I'm sure he didn't mean it.

He must be so upset about his grandfather and seeing you upset. He must have so many different feelings and emotions going on in his little head and is finding it hard to express them.

Wine
shopafrolic · 15/03/2016 20:17

I know, just feel so bad for him. Sorry. Don't want to bring the thread down.

Longislandicetee · 15/03/2016 20:23

Mini Shop doesn't mean it, don't beat yourself up ShopThanks

Like QueenC, I don't own anything on that list. I suspect it's because I am not very fashionable!Grin

I am wearing something a little different for me this top with Austin reed trouser suit and patent heels. Dh got a bit lusty about the top. I feel all hormonal and periody. Let's just say I am not feeling it!Hmm

That top was from a brand alley order and I wore this dress last week which cost me £29 and looked lovely!
